I stayed for 4 nights with a tour group at Casa San Blas. I was impressed with every aspect of the hotel. The front desk attendant JD showed up at the street corner to direct us from our van to the hotel. He offered me a bag lunch on the day of my departure. He knew, even though I never told him, I had a special diet- vegan- and catered to that. I had an amazing massage in the hotel, better than any I have had in the states. It was so relaxing and thorough- reflexology, scalp massage did not deduct time from rest of body. 45$ for an hour was a great bargain. The restraunt staff were a highlight for me, with my special meal requests. Aida was so kind and attentive, and the chef made me a delicious vegetable soup- I ate it 3 or 4 times! Elyin was cheerful as she decorated the lobby for Halloween- Equipo de Terror!! Luis Angel, Mijail, and Jhordan were always so kind when I needed oxygen for altitude sickness and reassured me I would be fine. The hotel is nestled in a sweet little alcove with ATM, money exchange, and pharmacy literally across the street. A bonus is the adjacent music school so that while I was having that delicious vegetable soup I was also listening to relaxing symphonic music. At breakfast they made to order eggs, omelets for my group, had pancakes, oatmeal, juices, avacado, bacon and assortment of nuts, cereal and breads. It was a big deal for me to get my favorite soy milk for my coffee!!!! The beds and linens were very comfortable, and I got offered a hot water bottle for my feet on cold nights. Highly recommend, and any trip to Cusco I would stay at Casa San Blas
