Casa Sánchez Hotel

The hotel is charming,with a variety of places to relax. Going around every corner seems to reveal something new and interesting. Excellent staff. Very friendly and helpful. Even if you are not a “pool person“ I would recommend bringing a bathing suit The small pool just seems worth sitting in. Should we return to Santo Domingo we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended. Casa Sanchez is ideally located to explore the Colonial zone in Santo Domingo. Steps away from the main pedestrian street, El Conde, and a few blocks to the main plaza. It is a small, charming place with a refreshing swimming pool, a rooftop area with a self-serve bar, jacuzzi and lounge area, and a delightful center patio garden where a good breakfast is served. The rooms are comfortable with good mattresses, smart TV, plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Saludos to Juan at the front desk who is always cheerful and ready to help you with anything.

Great location, spacious rooms. My only complaint is that we needed an iron and requested it several times. The desk clerk repeatedly told us he'd get us one, but never did, so we had to go out wearing our clothes all wrinkly.

This is a gem of a place. A small, well appointed, 3-star hotel (even though a plaque next to the door has 4 stars). The hotel occupies a couple of historic houses in the Colonial Zone of SD. The rooms are well appointed, breakfast is very pleasantly served in one of the two patios, while a small jacuzzi in the roof terrace provides a nice relaxing opportunity. The swimming pool in the second patio is not large enough for swimming and it does not receive much direct sunlight. All in all, the hotel is highly recommended to explore the Colonial Zone.

Casa Sanchez is my go to hotel when visiting friends in Santo Domingo ||It is located in an Enesco Heritage Center. One block away from the famous El Conde with parks, restaurants, music and shopping .||Hotel Casa Sanchez is very peaceful, has a beautiful pool on the first floor and a rooftop bar and hot tub on the second floor. ||The staff is very helpful and courteous. My room had a beautiful bathtub and shower and the bed had a mattress that I just melted into (very comfortable). ||The staff makes you feel like you're home. I highly recommend Casa Sanchez 😘||I

My friend & I loved staying at this hotel. It felt so homey & cozy, but the star of this hotel is the staff especially Rosario? who worked the front desk. She went above & beyond to make our stay warm & comfortable along with ordering us taxis & translating for us when we needed. We would go back to stay here just for her, honestly! The rooms are spacious & clean and we felt safe at all times. We cannot wait to go back to Santo Domingo to stay at this hotel again. Cannot recommend it enough!

Great experience! The staff is amazing, they are very professional and also nice. We were allowed to stay in a better room, do early check in, and leave our bags a few days earlier. The breakfast included is nice, and the infrastructure is beautiful. The location works for getting anywhere in the colonial zone by foot. The only thing I wish they'd change is the room decorations, they would look much nicer with a colonial style like the rest of the hotel.
