Sighișoara was my favorite town in Romania and Casa Saseasca was my favorite lodging. The owner Ana was extremely kind and friendly and Alexandra was very helpful and attentive. This Inn is right in the middle of the Citadel and I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Very nice, right in the middle of Sighisoara Citadel. The staff was extremly kind and accommodating, gave us a room of three at the price of two and was extremly honest about the level of noise and heat on each of the three floors so we are able to make an informed decision about which room to choose. There is a terrace outside where they serve drinks, but they also serve breakfast in the morning if you want to (I believe). The rooms are extremly clean. They are provided with mini-bars. The most interesting aspect of the rooms is that the furniture is adorned with traditional Hungarian models. The ceilings are high whcih keeps in line with the traditional house model. I highly recommend this place. It is very good value for money and it allows you to be in the heart of it all.

The room was really nice, with traditional motives and comfortable for our 2-nights stay. The room was clean and equipped with everything we needed. I loved the view directly through the square. Although it's such a central location, the noise wasn't loud at all and we didn't encounter problems on this side. Staff was really nice and helpful, was a pleasure to interact with them. I would have loved for them to have a breakfast serving, but who knows, maybe in the future it will happen. Thank you, Casa Saseasca! :)

Great guest house, superb value for money. Rooms are cozy and clean, staff is helpful, location couldn't be better. And yes, you CAN reach the gate by car to (un)pack your luggage if you show your reservation to the citadel guard - but you do have to park outside the citadel for the duration of your stay. The only thing I can't say anything about is the food - we just happened to eat elsewhere... Which reminds me, it would be nice if they served breakfast.

Strongly recommend for anyone visiting Sighisoara. My room was beautiful and clean. Location is amazing, exactly in the center of the old town. Staff is super nice and helpful!

We went there in September and stayed in the attic room. We loved the lady from the reception, very nice, friendly and willing to help. The furniture is manually painted, the buidling has lots of old restored objects and I love how they maintained the old spirit, but insuring modern comfort. I would go back there for short visits, not more than 2-3 days.

Nice accomodation, warm, nice and helpful staff. it is located in the center of ancient old citadel, in an old building (repaired of course :-). Building and rooms are decorated with traditional painting, everything is from wood (noisy sometimes), furniture is hand made painted. Atmosphere is warm and rustic, suited for the people who want to feel back in time. The heat in the room was more than enough, hot water and all you need, clean, at 30 euro / night in a time of year - not crowded.

The Casa Saseasca was the most distinctive place we stayed in while in Romania. It is a pension rather than a hotel, doesn't serve any meals - not even breakfast - and doesn't have a lift. As against that, it is bang on the central square, about fifty yards from three or four restaurants or cafes, so eating is no problem. Better still, it is an old house with the furniture in the rooms painted in bright Transylvanian designs, a pleasant change from a soulless modern hotel. The rooms are a good size, with reasonable bathrooms, minibars, and comfortable beds. And £36 a night! It's a no-brainer.
