Casa Scaparone (Alba, Piedmont) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Piedmont is full of agriturismi — working farms that double as inns — but Casa Scaparone stands out for a few reasons. Perched on a quiet hilltop for the past 500 years, it’s home to the oldest house in the area. And it’s the only farm in Alba, considered Piedmont’s gourmet capital, that offers both a restaurant and a hotel. The property consists of a collection of restored brick and stone buildings set amid vineyards, hazelnut trees, and orchards overlooking the surrounding countryside." - Tablet Hotels

Magical place. We spent here three beautiful nights and it was a true highlight of our holiday in Italy this year. The room was comfortable, the space available for guests - simply amazing. Breathtaking view from the hill! Food was good (there is still a room to improve 👀), and the selection of wines - noteworthy. The service was best in class - everyone was kind and helpful. Overall, really great time at Casa Scaparone. Very much recommended.

The place, building, restaurant and the whole estate was like from the movies. Just perfect. Also the food was amazing as well. Highly recommend for both romantic getaways as well as family trips

I played the saxophone here for a beautiful German & Bulgarian wedding in July 2024. The venue is stunning, the food is amazing, and the management was super easy to deal with. I 1000% recommend checking out this cute venue!

The most beautiful place! Ambience 100%!! Pool up on the hill with a wonderful view outside the surrounding bushes. A really nice breakfast, option to choose cotto, a local cheese and perfectly boild egg along side the small buffet. Clean room. Kind service in excellent English.

We held our wedding at Casa Scaparone and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a venue for their dream wedding. It is a magical place and everyone is super friendly! They listened to our input and it really was everything we had hoped for and more. We and our guests enjoyed it from start to finish! We cherish the moments for the rest of our lives!

We loved staying at this charming hotel. The building is set in a stunning location and is steeped in local history. The courtyard is beautiful for sitting out and enjoying the sunshine. We had the compulsory five course meal (40 euros per head) which was very good including a pasta course with the pasta utterly delicious and al dente. Pudding not so great but overall we were very happy. Lovely people and the headwaiter was thrilled to be quizzed about the wines in the cellar. He took my husband into the seller to select a special bottle. Overall we had a lovely time and would visit again. I loved that they had freely available fizzy and still drinking water on tap.

This place was one of the highlights of our trip! The staff (despite not confirming our reservation per E-Mail, I guess it's an Italian thing) had our room ready and they even kindly changed it to another with more light that was available. The snacks with local wine were tasty and the whole property is just awesome to explore! Vineyards, hazelnut trees, fruit trees are growing everywhere and you can just find your spot and relax surrounded by the nature. Breakfast was amazing, almost (if not) all home-made and delicious. Great place to come back to for sure!
