Wonderful place, the food was superb as was the atmosphere. The restaurant is just beautiful with a lot of character. We both ordered the tasting menu, I had the vegan option and it was a lot of food but well-paced. Wine list is an huge selection from across the region, we asked for a recommendation and loved it. Really good service as well, very attentive and polite. Hope visit again some day!

Was so pleased with this experience in the beautiful hills of Piedmonte. The staff were so friendly and patient with all our questions. The rooms were charming and i especially loved the deep claw footed tub. And of course the food was amazing-Umberto and his staff go above and beyond to create flavors and meals that are beyond food but experiences of the beautiful land they source their ingredients from. Stayed at a four star hotel the next night and it didn't not even get close to matching the comfort, hospitality, and beauty of Casa Scaparone. So grateful we discovered this place and were able to make amazing memories here.

We were assigned two rooms upon arrival. A superior room in the villa and a triple room in the courtyard next to the large entrance gate. The first superior room was spacious and nice, but had a few problems: the lock was difficult to open and close, and the shower gave off unpleasant odours ( no siphon?). If more guests arrive, there is not enough hot water. The triple room, on the other side, has a broken, crushed mattress and there are beetles. Now, the old buildings are beautiful, but they need maintenance. We were offered a new room for the latter. The rooms and spaces are very dusty and the electrical and hydraulic systems are hanging loose. The breakfast is very very poor. It's true that they say they offer local products, but making a cake costs nothing and they can make it with their own ingredients. Four days with a breakfast consisting of six dishes: baked ham, cheese, eggs, biscuits, a kind of chocolate brioche, bread (stale, from the previous evening), yoghurt, butter and jam. The same thing every day, very poor for the price. I don't understand why such a beautiful property is allowed to fall into disrepair. I won't be back and I don't recommend it to anyone. In any case, knowing about our misadventures at checkout, we weren't even asked if we were satisfied with the exchange or offered a discount.

As wedding photographers, Casa Scaparone is one of those venues that feels truly magical. It's an place where you can feel like at home, it's cozy, full of charme. The team here has been wonderful with us, always friendly and attentive. We love how relaxed and welcoming the vibe is; it allows us to capture genuine, heartfelt moments from start to finish. The place is visually beautiful. Only one staff member was helpful. The wifi didn’t work. Transportation to and from is expensive. No uber. Plus getting to Alba in general is annoying. My two cents. Look at the photos. Cut your bed in half with a chainsaw, order a white truffle online, shave it on some over cooked Mr Noodles with cream and volia you get the experience.

This is exactly what I dreamt of when I researched rustic Italian villa nestled in the heart of Piedmont. The grounds of this estate are breathtaking, the kitchen is onsite and the food is incredible along with the staff is exceptional. I will definitely be coming back here with my kids. This trip was just for me and my husband to be and it did not disappoint

We had an amazing stay at Casa Scaparone . everything was simply perfect! The restaurant was excellent, the grounds and common areas were beautiful, and the entire place is full of charm and character. +++ Extremely kids-friendly, with a great pool that even has a shallow paddling area for little ones. Highly recommended for families!

This is the perfect get away, yet close to Alba. Great, super friendly crew, family values, and personal attention to your needs. Kitchen delivers outstanding and creative presentations of the local produce, game, dairy and meats. Been here several times over the years and will be back.
