Casa Shelly Hospedería

We had a wonderful week staying at Casa Shelly. Chris is the best host and has thought of everything to make your stay very comfortable as well as being available to give any recommendations required. The housekeeping throughout the entire building is absolutely faultless. |It is quite simply a beautiful place to stay.

Excellent accommodation very centrally located in beautiful white village.. Very quiet yet close to bars and restaurants. Rooms simply but tastefully appointed with good air conditioning. Plenty of communal space. I believe all the terraces face inwards, so no noise but lacking a view of the wider area. No parking locally but the Casa offers discounted parking in the secure central village car park. Chris the owner is very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

We recently stayed in this beautiful house and highly recommend a visit. The renovation is beautifully done with comfort and style, while keeping original characteristics of the building and area. The bed is very comfortable and the room is decorated to perfection. The full kitchen for guests with fruit, muffins, coffee and tea was a nice surprise. Everything in the village is within walking distance and parking is available if you want to wander off to other areas for the day. Chris is very welcoming and responsive to any questions. He also gave us perfect directions to the check-in point which was appreciated due to the narrow one-way streets! We will come again if we are in the area. Thank you, Chris, for a wonderful, relaxing stay!!

For the last 11 years running we have come to Casa Shelly and absolutely enjoyed every moment of it. Chris looks after his clients with the utmost care and attention. The rooms are exquisite, superclean and are urban chic in design and detail. By far this is the nicest place to stay in Vejer, and the reason why Vejer is my favourite place in Spain. The customer service is excellent from Chris, with precise attention to detail and a feeling of being in a luxury home away from home, need I say anymore!

Our stay at Casa Shelly was one of the best experiences we’ve had in Andalusia! From the pre-stay correspondence and information to the warm welcome, the absolutely stunning interior design and amazing hospitality… everything was simply perfect. While we love children (we have two of our own), it’s also very relaxing to have a quiet adult place and I would recommend Casa Shelly if you’re looking for a retreat.

We visited casa Shelly for one night while traveling to visit vejer and conil. We were in the junior suite and our friends were in the double room with balcony. Both rooms were lovely, a good size very nice bathrooms and very clean and modern. The beds were really comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. Our room didn’t have a balcony but looked over the internal courtyard, our friends room had a lovely large balcony, there’s a living wall running up the central courtyard which had lots of sparrows nesting in it. I liked this but it was quite noisy in the morning if you’re a light sleeper. ||The shared areas here are very nice, there’s a large fully equipped kitchen and living room area. There were always biscuits and muffins available in the kitchen and extra coffee pods and tea bags in case you ran out.||This is also next to the hammam, which we took advantage of during our stay, we got a discount too because we were staying in casa Shelly.||When arriving don’t drive to the hotel, the streets are quite narrow, but there are drop off points on the main road close. I’d recomendable dropping passengers at the closest point on the main road and parking in one of the car parks. The multi storey is very close, but very expensive.||Great hotel, good value, would recommend and return.

We stayed 3 nights in this wonderful home, and as we entered we immediately felt relaxed. Beautifully decorated, clean, modern yet traditional, greatly positioned within the charming town of Vejer. The host Chris has been much helpful in providing us with great tips for the town and the greater area and also helped out as we forgot something in the room. I totally recommend it to anyone who wishes a great place to stay and relax following the visit of the surroundings during the day.
