The staff at Casa Suaya went out of their way to make my experience memorable and stress-free. The rooms are beautiful, clean, comfortable with a rustic feel and a panoramic view of the ocean. The pool area is kept spotless (despite there having been a wedding celebration on premise a day prior to my arrival). The restaurant is really good with a knowledgeable chef preparing wide variety of food items for all meals (they even opened it a bit early and closed it a bit later than scheduled to accommodate me). There's also a secluded beach that's directly adjacent to the property. ||Overall, this is by FAR my favorite hotel experience in all of South America and I can't wait to come back to Casa Suaya.

Beautiful location out of the Punta del Este. Seems like the end of the world farther to the east. The hotel was wonderful with great views of the beach across the street. Beautiful pools and a restaurant providing breakfast buffet and snack type meals and drinks the rest of the day. The staff went out if their way to help us any way they could. Family type atmosphere. Really enjoyed our 5 nights there after a busy vacation

We stayed here recently and from the outside it’s looks amazing and it genuinely has a great Look and location is perfect, nearest to the best area,In our opinion, of José Ignacio. The vibe is great for families good space to run around small play area and two pools one which is heated which is perfect for kids especially as most are not heated throughout South America! I think this hotel during high season is extremely over priced though for what you get. The rooms need updating sheets are old and bobbly, sofas were stained and furniture old or random. They are big but for the price we paid a bath would have been expected not just a small shower. The food is basic breakfast nice but always the same and eggs ordered seemed like they were made in old frying pans as black bits were left on the food. Generally it is a good hotel just over priced but the whole area seems to be very over priced for what you are getting.

Stayed for two nights. Hotel is small, boutique style with well designed, discreet patina style rooms. ||Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Small but clean and well presented pools. ||Lots of high quality beaches, bars and eateries within a short drive or casual walk. ||Some nearby wide roads for running where you can watch kite surfing on the lagoon.||Superb, relaxed venue.|

I absolutely loved my stay at Casa Suaya. I had booked to stay for two nights, but ended up extending my trip for another 2 days—I immediately fell in love with the hotel, the town, and the breathtaking beauty of the beach. What set the hotel experience apart for me was the staff---every single person I met was absolutely incredible—they were very warm and welcoming, and truly went above and beyond to made sure I was happy and had everything I needed during my stay. Starting with the breakfast with fresh, homemade breads and pastries, to the small touches, such as putting lavender in the rooms, to them accommodating me extending my stay, and helping me find transport to and from the Montevideo airport, everything was perfect. They absolutely enriched my experience in Jose Ignacio—I had come from a very stressful period of work/school, so to be surrounded by warm and happy energy was so lovely! The hotel is located a short walk along the beach away from the pueblo, where you can find cute bars/restaurants and shops. You may also rent bikes at the hotel, and the people working in reception are more than happy to help with restaurant recommendations if you are looking for a bite to eat. If you are looking to escape and unwind, I would absolutely recommend Casa Suaya/Jose Ignacio. I will be definitely be going back next year!

Great rooms are large and can accommodate s longer stay w closet and shelving. Beautiful pool and restaurant on site. Cross the street for the beach. You do need a car to get around or you can hire a guide.

I have been a customer for the last 9 years, the location is perfect, and the staff is always attentive. It's a peaceful oassis, and only five minutes away from the crowds in José Ignacio.||Relaxing by the pool, or crossing the road to the beach are my favorite activities whenever I stay here. ||||
