A beautiful and unique small hotel with just eight rooms.|We had an enormous room with a super comfortable bed and everything provided you might need. It was a lovely room, nice and bright, spotlessly clean with a view of the mountains and the characteristic tiled roofs.|The hotel couldn’t have been better situated in the old part of town right by the harbour, so perfect location.|Breakfasts were fantastic. Most things were homemade by the hotel, breads, jams, yoghurt, fruit juices, granola, and different cakes every day. There was also a hot breakfast option and lots of fresh fruit.|We were made to feel very welcome during our stay and nothing was too much trouble. The staff went out of their way, especially Francisco who was brilliant, he discussed with us what we wanted to do and see and recommended and booked things for us, all of which were a great success. Parity is lovely and certainly worth visiting, but be warned don’t take high heels or good shoes. It’s difficult to walk there as the entire town is cobblestones, we’re talking small and uneven boulders very hard on the feet and often slippery.

We booked this hotel for a four night stay based on the wonderful reviews. We had high expectations and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived, till the moment we left, we made to feel so welcome and indeed part of the Casa Turquesa family. We stayed in the brown room, which was huge and beautifully appointed and had absolutely everything we could possibly have needed and more. All the staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you. The breakfasts were expectional, so much choice and all freshly prepared on site. This hotel is an absolute gem and an absolute must to stay at whilst in Paraty. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Casa Turquesa is a wonderful place to stay in Paraty! It is a small, boutique hotel with a great, central location and wonderful staff. The hotel is located near the boat pier and is within walking distance to all restaurants and stores in town. We had two rooms, each spacious, with very comfortable beds and nice bathroom amenities. The breakfast is excellent and is served any time desired. They even accommodated our family by opening early to serve breakfast before an early departure. What makes this hotel standout is the people that work there. They were all nice and recommended different things to do and places to go. It was a wonderful experience and we hope to return someday.

Our great experience started even before our trip began—the hotel team was kind, responsive, and incredibly supportive, helping us plan every detail. The place itself is truly inspiring, located in the heart of Paraty’s old town. It boasts a stunning design with remarkable attention to detail. Throughout our stay, it felt like there were more Casa team members attending to us than actual guests, making the experience feel personal and luxurious. We stayed in the White Room, which offered a beautiful view of the mountains and the colorful streets of Paraty. The furniture, amenities, and thoughtful touches throughout our stay were simply impeccable. The breakfast was exceptional—rich and varied, served in a beautifully changing setup with fresh natural juices and a personal touch that made every morning special. This is hospitality on another level, and we’re so happy we chose to stay here. Thank you!

This place was an absolute dream. It's been a long time that I have been to a hotel and come back beaming from the experience! I think what did it for me is that Casa Turquesa takes very seriously the role in "taking care" of their guests. There were so many small things that Casa Turquesa went out of their way to make sure that we were taken care of. For example, I had to change the dates and come a day later, when I texted them on WhatsApp, there was really no problem for them to change. Most hotels or Airbnb's take this as an opportunity to charge you for this change. Another thing- they provide you with sandals that you use when inside the hotel as to not drag in the city. My girlfriend got sick and they did everything to help us take care of her, including waiting until 10:30 at night to clean the room when we finally were able to leave for dinner. The service was really incredible. Fransisco felt like a character from White Lotus, we couldn't get enough of him! So charming and funny and sweet. I highly recommend this place because they understand the bigger picture: people going on vacation want to be held in a way that they can just focus on the fun- casa turquesa did this the best!

Casa Turquesa is one of our now favorite places in the world. We have traveled extensively and can say with all sincerity that this is one of the most lovely, charming, beautifully decorated, wonderfully run small luxury boutique properties we have ever had the pleasure to be welcomed into. We stayed in the "white room," an oasis of calm and beauty. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed as if we were old friends of the owners of a gorgeously renovated mansion in the historic town of Paraty. Our bed was beyond comfortable (and surrounded by a mosquito net - how romantic! - that the staff let down in the evening and tied up again in the morning). Water pressure in the shower was excellent and the toiletries were delightful -smelling and gentle on the skin. Fresh filtered water was delivered to the room every night before bed and available in the reception area of the hotel at no charge. Every night on turndown, we received a little surprise from the casa - chocolates but also souvenirs from the casa like a magnetic bookmark or a branded recycled materials tote bag. Since guests are asked not to wear their outdoor shoes inside, guests are given a pair of Havainas flip flops upon check-in, and you can take them home upon departure. The breakfast was delicious, freshly made and quite varied. Most importantly, I cannot sing enough praises to the staff. This is a truly exceptional and warm group of people, every one of them. We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We have rarely felt so much genuine pleasure from staff at a hotel - so kudos to both the obviously carefully chosen staff members as well as to management for fostering this atmosphere. When we left, we vowed to each other that we would return.

Casa Turquesa is a great place to stay in Paraty. We stayed for 4 nights. Good location, near the port / boat pier. Easy walking distance to all the main sights in Paraty. Great service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great cooked to order breakfast in the morning. The room was large, clean, and up to date. Everything in the room was in good working order. A very nice place for a stay in Paraty.

Casa Turquesa is the absolute BEST. Not only is the pousada so gorgeous and welcoming, but impeccably clean and comfortable. The staff is incredibly helpful and the breakfast is a masterpiece. The restaurants and boat trip recommended by the front desk were outstanding. I can’t wait to come back!!!
