Amazing place if you want peace and serenity! Amazing staff and great interior and exterior design! The kitespot is easy to reach by car in 5 mins. The only downside are the windows - Guriu is very windy and the windows aren’t sealed properly creating noises of loud rattling and whistling.

Location and infrastructure are great, however the service and personal was really bad. Plus our whole room smelled like a toilet. Not worth your money

An incredible place gathering beautiful design, subtle cool atmosphere, caring people and delicious food. Located in Guriú, a very quiet place to take some rest after a trek in Lencois. Food is really amazing and the people at the hotel are very helpful

Casa Uca is a beautiful little hotel with a very good restaurant. We didn’t stay there but we stopped there on our trip to the dunes and had lunch. The service is very friendly and the different dishes were fresh and delicious. Price-wise it’s definitely at the upper end of the scale for the region.

We stayed at Casa Uca for 1 night in August and we absolutely loved our stay!! The staff was super accommodating and welcoming, and most of them spoke French and English - which is not always a given in Brazil. The owner of the hotel was always really responsive whenever we had questions. For example, we were arriving to the hotel by car, and she went out of her way to call drivers and ask them what the best route would be to take and how long the ride would last. ||The location is stunning and secluded, a great escape from the busy Jeri, yet close enough if you want to do a day trip there. The rooms were really well-equipped and had stunning views of the ocean. Lastly, we enjoyed an amazing dinner with the 2 Brazilian chefs, very fine dining.||Overall: amazing experience, highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in a great kite spot - we definitely hope to be back!!

Review based in the hotel stay and not the day beach club experience! ||Summary: We arrived during the middle of a pool party at the hotel and it was very clear that the staff was not able to make sufficient time for us and that the party guest had the priority. The welcome by the management was one of the poorest we have ever received. We did not receive any information about things like activities, things to do, cleaning, etc. Also absent: a simple sorry for so much noise and lack of tranquillity.||Important to mention: during our stay everyone from the staff were very friendly, but our bad experience happened due to the management decisions.||Long story: I made a reservation a month before my trip for 3 nights and 5 days before my arrival I received a message from the hotel saying that the hotel would be hosting a DJ sunset event (during pandemic time). My booking was without cancellation and all options around were fully booked leaving me with no option except accept the situation. When we got there after a long flight we were confronted with what a party with DJ could look like. Hotel employees were respecting the sanitary measures but not the party guests. Music was extremely loud. People queuing for drinks as corona doesn’t exist… ||When I confronted the management and explained that I wasn’t happy for the situation I was not even able to get an apology. In a situation like this in a hotel that you pay 130 euros per day (in Brazil) the minimum that I could expect was that she would offer a solution. We got there at 13:00 (one hour before check in and our room was not ready. I understand the check in time and policy about it but if you are organizing a DJ event in the reception of the hotel I believe the minimum that you could do is to give an extra attention to the unique customer arriving to stay in that day). I have not been offered a possibility to cancel the stay, an upgrade or compensation. The party stopped at 18:20 but until all party guests left was already around 19:00 o’clock…||If you are into boutique hotels because of the privacy and tranquility: be aware that during the day, day trippers stop by and will be swimming and sharing the space with you! ||No coffee or tea in the room, we had a leak in the toilet and first night hot shower did not work.

My partner and I stayed for 16nights in October, for a Kiteboarding focused trip. ||||The location is well placed between the kiting locations of Barrinha / Prea / Jeri / Guriu / Tatajuba, all easily accessible by dune buggy within 30mins. Guriu is a great kiting spot itself with flat water at the rivermouth and waves out to sea. The wind really does blow every single day during the season, no need to check the forecast, bring your (very) small kites!!||||Aside from kiting, the hotel is great value, with a fantastic breakfast included (lunch and dinner also available and very high quality) and very comfortable rooms. It's a small hotel, so the staff get to know you and do everything possible to ensure you have a great stay.||||Laura (owner) is always available to ensure all your plans are well organised.||||One of the highlights was the cocktails, which are all fantastic and made perfectly - sometimes hard to find!
