"Including garden terraces with views of the pool and fountains, this guesthouse offers colourful and spacious accommodation. It has free Wi-Fi and serves a daily buffet breakfast. Named after locations and spices that were discovered by the Portuguese in the 16th century, all rooms and suites come with themed colours and matching accessories. They have large windows and an open-plan bathroom. A buffet breakfast is served in the breakfast room with its paintings, terracotta floors and flowers. A number of eateries and restaurants can be found within a 5-minute walk from The Casa Vela Charm. Car rentals can be arranged at the guest house, as well as airport transfers to Portela Airport, 30 km away. The Comboios Cascais Station is a 15-minute walk away." - My Boutique Hotel (en)

I have stayed in this nice hotel. It is situated close to ocean. It has amazing garden with ducks, flowers amazing spots. Such a pleasure. Such beautiful places inside. So good view from the room. there was 2 pools: one heated and one cold, sauna. Amazing spot for breakfasts. The breakfast is not big but everything we need - especially fresh squeezed orange juice. I recommend.

We had an excellent stay at the Casa Vela Boutique House while in Cascais. The grounds, gardens, and pool area are absolutely stunning and meticulously cared for. It was only a short 12-15 minute walk into Cascais which was perfect for a quiet and secluded feel. Service was great too. The breakfast was average but they did provide a nice welcome beverage and upgraded us to a suite upon arrival. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We loved our time there!

What a lovely and homey place to stay. It has the most fresh breakfast buffet I’ve had in years. Lots of choices in types of breakfast styles and everything was freshly made. English breakfast, bread, fruit, yoghurt, it was all there. The swimming pool is nice and not overcrowded. The garden has many lovely spots to relax and enjoy the green garden. Our apartment had a lovely little garden. So we could easily relax, just the two of us with a nice bottle of wine.

We loved our week's stay here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Melissa. The room was a good size with a large balcony. The gardens are beautiful. It was so peaceful sitting by the pool with the little fountains providing the only sound. Some koi carp and ducks in one pond. The breakfast was great with plenty of choices including gluten free bread. There is free cake and coffee every evening which we enjoyed in the beautiful living room as in photo. Everywhere is kept very clean. We fully intend to return to Cascais and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

I wanted to gift myself with a couple of nice, spa-like hotel nights after my long Camino, and this was exactly the ticket. The pool, wood fire sauna, and cold plunge were a huge cherry on top for me—I got to enjoy long mornings in bed with birds chirping in the garden, fruit-filled breakfast, a morning sauna, go enjoy a long walk by the ocean, then wind down with a movie at night. The grounds are beautiful and lush and even have gorgeous wood duck residents, but do know there’s plenty of construction going on all around the property, and it does disturb the peace on weekdays.

What a lovely place. Beautiful grounds, with plush gardens and water features. A couple of small pools with just the right amount of sun loungers/chairs. No need to be reserving! Only 12 min stroll to either the town or marina. All staff were very helpful and responsive to requests and on arrival also provided with a personal guide around the property showing the amenities. The room had all the usual amenities with daily housekeeping and a balcony/terrace overlooking the gardens and water features. A garden/pool bar with service was a great touch. We will be returning!

This boutique hotel is a hidden gem in the middle of a residential area, a short walk away from city center. ||From the shockingly beautiful gardens which we could’ve explored everyday to the incredibly helpful and kind staff (the outdoor bartender/masseuse was the best) to the awesome breakfast to the large room size to the bathroom size and great water pressure (hard to find sometimes). ||The entire stay was perfection! We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming old villa, surrounded by a beautiful, slightly wild garden that felt like something out of a fairytale. The atmosphere was incredibly romantic, with a peaceful, almost magical vibe throughout the property.||The location is perfect—tucked away in a quiet and safe neighborhood, yet just a short walk from the center of Cascais. It offered the best of both worlds: tranquility and convenience.||The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was delicious, with a great selection, and we absolutely loved the "honest bar"—such a sweet and thoughtful touch.||And of course, we can’t forget Vela, their adorable resident cat, who made our stay even more special.||Highly recommend for couples or anyone looking for a unique and cozy place to stay in Cascais!
