Very nice B&B in the center of Sucre. The owner is very friendly and helps with everything. The breakfast is very good and the garden invites to relax a bit in one of the chairs or pool. The central square is less than 10 min away.

Due to health issues so stayed for 4 weeks and I couldn’t have asked for a better place. I had the single room which is very large for a single room. The shower was so good, good water pressure and warm water. They clean the rooms ever day. Locations is also very good, but yet quiet. The breakfast was plentiful but what really made the stay so comfortable was the whole crew, Lisbeth, Jonathan and the rest of the staff are so friendly and welcoming and they’ll help you with anything you need. I didn’t use the pool but it looked very clean as well. All in all the perfect stay! ☺️

Gorgeous B&B with lovely terrace a nice big room (a little dark but kept it cooler) fine bathroom (showers not piping hot but more than tolerable). Very comfortable stay only 5 min walk from central plaza.

Couldn't recommend this place enough! We had a spotless room with exposed wood beams and the best beds we had in Bolivia. The courtyard was a sunny place to rest too. We had a 4 day tour planned and the staff were happy to hold our bags and let us pay 30BOB per person for a shower upon our return.

Great hostel/hotel - managers and staff extremely nice, great location, and pool. A cut above.

The location is great - and they had some of the comfiest beds in Bolivia. Friendly, helpful staff. Heaters in the room. Breakfast was fine. Nice courtyard to sit in. They do ONLY take payment in BOB cash - no credit card. They do not do laundry - but the neighboring B&B does.

Casa Verde was a little slice of paradise with comfy beds, hot showers and a pool to cool off in at the end of the day. Location, breakfast and staff also great.

Sucre is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and a virtue of the Casa Verde is its fidelity to the city’s colonial past — it has resisted temptations to the pursuit of luxury through unwarranted modernization. Yes, it has excellent Wi-Fi, which extends to the nicely planted courtyard patio (with a small swimming pool!), and the water in the smallish bathroom runs hot when you need it, but by and large the visitor is embraced by an ethos of sufficiency rather than excess.||What the guest most appreciates about the premium Casa Verde places on sufficiency is in the room rate. For my room, which could sleep four (there was an upper-level loft with two twin beds), I paid 200 Bolivianos (US $28) a night. These were the prices I came to Bolivia for!||Breakfast is served communally, at two long tables in the simple breakfast room. No fancy espresso coffees (which must have particularly disappointed the Italians who were the majority of guests during my 3-night August stay), but intensely brewed Bolivian beans made for sufficient wake-up before each day’s exploration.||Casa Verde is located some four blocks “up” town from the central square of Sucre, so it is well within walking distance of nearly all the important sights and relevant restaurants in town. |
