For those in the know, Corrales, NM remains a hidden gem along the banks of the Rio Grande. Often overshadowed by its larger neighbors, Corrales is a special and unique place for its residents—and for those wise enough to veer off the main urban roads in search of something more peaceful. Amidst the newer homes and businesses are farms, ranches, and adobe structures that have stood longer than the United States itself. One such standout is the beautiful adobe known as Casa Vieja—a site where a home has stood since 1712, if not earlier. Within these historic walls, you’ll find a thoughtfully curated selection of handcrafted beers, local wines, and exceptional cocktails. The staff welcome you like guests in their own home—which, in a way, you are. Eat beforehand, or take advantage of a nearby food truck. Then settle in—order a drink at the bar or find a cozy spot in one of the beautiful rooms, including “The Chapel”—and savor every sip of passionately crafted wine, beer, or cocktails. Most importantly, soak in the rich history of this incredible location.

Beautiful venue and patio! The pizza truck “In pizza we trust”was excellent! The beer was great but sad to say our service there was horrible! We had to flag someone to take our order. We opened a tab. It took a very long time to get our beers which was fine as the band was still setting up. Good music. Once we got our beers we never saw our server again. I wanted another beer but she never came to check on us. We had to go inside and hunt our server down to pay our bill.

A nice place with good drinks and usually good live music and a food truck. The outdoor seating is cool due to the shady trees. Service was noticeably slow, likely due to the cramped indoor spaces and uneven ground, which combined with the tall glasses meant I saw a few servers spill a bit of the beers they were carrying.

Fun place to enjoy a great band (Odd Dog) on a Saturday night. There aren't quite enough servers, but they are friendly and the beer is good. Food is highly dependent on which food truck is there..

If you go to case Vieja hopefully you don’t run into or experience the owners wife. She’s one of the most rude people I’ve ever met in my life and will completely ruin your night. Used to be one of my favorite places but will never return…

The beers deserve a stop and sip. My wife, dog, and I visited this brewery travelling from Colorado. The customer service and drinks were top notch. They are very dog friendly, and even offered our pup a bowl of water in the heat. We got caught in a quick rain pour, and the table next to us offered space for shelter. The people, staff, and drinks truly can't be beat. Francis was FANTASTIC. She kept us laughing and truly made us feel at home. Definitely a "must try" if you're in the area.

Wonderful Toasted Coconut Stout. One of the better stouts around. We enjoyed the others we tried in the flight, as well. Excellent guest food truck, Nom Nom on Wheels. The interior is beautiful and bright and lovely fireplaces. The patio is nice, spread out and warm. Live music and good wait staff. We really enjoyed our visit.

Superb Corrales gem! The patio setting is gorgeous (and especially relevant right now!) with burbling fountains, hummingbirds, and plenty of shade. The craft brews are superb, with a nice variety of styles and flavors. Their unconventional Ghost Stout is a real treat, and the new seasonal offerings are cool, crisp, and refreshing. Also a great offering of local wines (love the Osprey from Acequia!) and even their house made hard seltzer is delicious (the Habanero Lime flavor is delicious!). The staff is great and very friendly and eager to curate their offerings. Plenty of live music and usually a local food truck to supply some great munchies. Cannot recommend this place enough!
