A true Portuguese gem! This is a small, authentic spot that captures the heart of local dining. The place isn’t big, but service is impressively fast - so even if there’s a line outside, tables free up quickly. The staff are warm, friendly, and treat you like family, and every dish tastes homemade with genuine care. Prices are surprisingly low for such fresh, healthy food right in the city center. The grilled Portuguese sea bass (robalo) is absolutely outstanding—perfectly cooked with that delicate flavor only the freshest fish can offer. It’s the kind of meal that makes you feel like you’re sharing in a piece of local tradition. Tip: they only accept cash, so come prepared!

I love this restaurant - simple traditional menu. Mixed with local frequent visitors and tourists. Service is fast and good. Food delicious and price is reasonable. Would love to go back to try more!

This place seems to be a local institution with a lot of buzz, so we were excited to try it. The food was good—flavorful and clearly made with care. However, for all the hype, it fell a little short of being a truly memorable meal. It's a decent spot, but maybe a bit overrated in my opinion. A solid option, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it again.

An absolute gem and must try in Porto! The staff is amazing the food is unbelievable and authentic. The prices are 1/2 of what the restaurants around them are and they are twice as good!

Authentic local restaurant that is impressive. There was a queue when we went which didn't last too long. We got sea bream and sea bass along with white wine. It tasted great and was like a small feast. The price was only 35€ for everything in the photos and it is a bargain. The waiter is such a hardworking guy as he was very fast and didn't stop for a min. Definitely recommending this place as an experience.

Very quaint local Portuguese restaurant (didn’t even have an English menu, was that authentic) with amazing prices. The manager even kept the place open late for us and didn’t rush us and was very patient in explaining the menu items. The food was phenomenal, and so was the desserts (passionfruit cheesecake was a standout). Fish was very fresh.

It was good but I was a little underwhelmed. Food was good but nothing special. Pork, rice and fries. Service was fast. Everything felt a little manic and claustrophobic. Good price but I've had much better lunches elsewhere. I don't really have any complaints but after all the recommendations I was a little disappointed.
