One of the best cigar and bar venues anywhere. Huge liquor selection and even deeper cigar selection. Plenty of seating with a fantastic staff. I highly recommend.

Had a totally awesome time! Great selection of beverages and cigars. My wife and I had a very enjoyable time. Had some pricey drinks and expensive sticks, but hey… we were on vacation! Would definitely go back again!

Came in two nights for a drink and a cigar. Beautiful bar! Lots of choice for both good whiskeys and good cigars. Basically the only thing in town open till 12AM. Lots of space and comfy seating. Came back a third time to pick up some cigars for at home. Very friendly, helpful and professional bartenders and cigartenders(?). Thanks guys!

This is one of my new favorite cigar bars and I’ll have to come up with reasons to visit Asheville as often as I can. The place was clean and designed well. They have a large collection of adult beverages. The staff, Justin and Wesley, were dressed very well and it enhanced the experience of being in a well apportioned cigar lounge. They were professional, courteous, knowledgeable about cigars, and can hold a conversation. Their cigar collection is good and the humidor was impeccable. They had a separate area for some favorite cigars. Their selection of cigar accessories was also appropriate. They also have lockers available. Justin made a good cigar recommendation for me after hearing the types I usually smoke. His recommendation was spot on. This is a casual place to hang out and would also be appropriate for a fancy evening out. I will definitely be back

Traveling & can’t decide between Casablanca and the other cigar bar that shows up when you search? Casablanca is *by far* the better choice. Here’s a few reasons why: 1) Cigar selections and inventory! - this is hands down the biggest difference. Casablanca’s walk-in humidor has a full lineup of brands, sizes, and styles, with a solid lineup of each. So you won’t discover an empty box when you check for your favorite smokes. 2) Whiskey options - (see photos). There’s a *huge* selection of bourbons, ryes, and single malt and blended scotches. I was able to try a 18-yo Whistle Pig, and my traveling partner opted for a flight of aged highland scotches - all 18+ years old - and at a phenomenal price for the flight! 3) Knowledgeable staff - based on my normal smokes, I received 3 cigar recommendations, which were also tailored to what I was planning to drink that visit. I tried 2 of the 3, and they were spot on. (I’m going back later today to try the 3rd!) 4) Atmosphere - Casablanca is neat, clean, and perfectly lighted throughout. The bar and humidor are well lit so you can clearly see the selections. The TV lounge areas are a bit darker for viewing, but not so dark that it feels like a dungeon. Just right…. Also, the bartenders are excellent at their craft. Justin and Trevor took care of me on my visits thus far - both are attentive to the entire bar, while still carrying on conversations. Made me feel very comfortable and welcome, even as an out-of-towner. I won’t explicitly put down the other cigar bar establishment that shows up when you Google search, but suffice to say all of the above descriptions don’t apply. Go to Casablanca’s and enjoy yourself for a while - phenomenal place!

Have a great such an cigars, amazing bartender! They can make almost any drink that you like. There's some really hard to find cigars and the prices are not bad at all. One of the best cigars I've been to the ventilation system is top of the notch. It's hardly smokey in it. I would 100% recommend this place.

Wonderful cigar bar. One of the best selections of cigars in NC with top brands and cool boutique brands. David is super kind and wants to take care of you with cigar suggestions or craft cocktail. You are able to really relax here and will always be a place I will visit when in town for a smoke.

Fantastic lounge with a great selection of sticks and spirits. TVs had football going so I'd imagine any sporting event would be great to catch here. Our preferred lodging in Asheville is right across the street so chances I return are super high.

Upon entering you will see the large humidor with a large selection of cigars. A fully stocked bar with nonalcoholic options available including many coffee drink selections. Friendly staff and excellent air quality makes this place outstanding!

This is a nice cigar bar, the set-up is perfect for a nice chill evening or whatever. They provide an excellent selection of cigars and spirits for your liking. The staff is very knowledgeable & helpful when it comes to cigars. The bartender was on point with the drinks. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area.

I absolutely love this spot. I was catching up with an old friend and this place was perfect. First of all, it was pretty much packed, full of good, cool people. That's always a good sign. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and directed on what to do and who to talk to. They know what they're doin' here. Heath walked us into the humidor and helped us choose the perfect cigars for our taste and what we were drinking. He even set us up with two comfy lounge chairs (pictured). The ventilation in the place sucked the smoke into the ceiling. So I don't currently smell like a cigar (next day, no shower yet). I've never spent so little to feel like a million bucks. I can't wait to come back.

An excellent experience all around. When entering you are greeted with a beautiful, rich, welcoming site. A beautiful bar to your left or a walk in humidor to your right. I didn't know it, but the selection of cigars to your left can be put on a "bar tab" so you can enjoy the smoke while sipping your favorite cocktail or spirit. Trevor, the bar tender, was amazing and knowledgeable. A true gift to this establishment. The owner (I'm sorry I can't recall his name) came and introduced himself. A seemingly wonderful person. Summary, beautiful place, inviting, warm people, and an excellent selection of cigars and drinks to accompany. Highly recommended and will repeat for sure when next in Ashville!

Stopped by Casablanca for a cigar and drink tonight with my brother. I had two cocktails and my brother had two draft beers. When the bill came we were charged with five beers. l questioned the bartender about the bill. She said that the bill was correct and would not adjust it. l would not recommend it based on the service. If you do go check your bill!

Wonderful place to sit and have a nice cocktail, a cigar, and relaxing afternoon. I have to say Asheville NC is one of the friendliest places to visit.

Aimée and I had the best time here Christmas Day 2022. We were traveling back home to Buffalo from Phoenix, trying to hit the high point in every state along the way (we are up to 32 state high points)! We were walking back to our car after a wonderful dinner at Andaaz (also highly recommend) and took our dog Maisie out of the car for a short walk. We walked past Casablanca and noted how warm and friendly it looked. So we put the dog back in the car (sorry Maisie!) and went in. So so glad we went in. Only a few people in the place, and the gentleman behind the bar was not a bartender (can't remember his name! Great guy) but helped us anyway. His wife was working in the humidor and helped us pick cigars for us, and to take to a few friends. We don't smoke (we climb mountains with our feet and bikes) but this was just an existential experience. A gentleman came over (think his name was Chris) and said he travelled a lot and always looked up cigar bars as nice friendly places to go in a new town. I agree and we're going to add that to our Bloody Mary tradition. Highly highly recommend!

Casablanca is setting the bar for a fantastic cigar experience. When you walk in the first thing you notice is the beautiful floors and warm feeling. I love the vast selection of premium cigars and expertise of the staff. They are so friendly and ready to welcome you with a drink from their well stocked bar while you enjoy your cigar. The seating area is laid out perfectly for you to enjoy private time or socializing and the tvs are setting in the perfect location for you to watch wherever you choose to sit. We felt right at home even though it was only our first trip there. We will certainly visit again.

After checking into a local hotel we came right over here to relax and unwind. We were not disappointed. The place is super clean and the selection of cigars in the walk in humidor room was excellent. If you wanted it, they had it. Of course like everything else these days depending on what you smoke it can be a little pricey, but don't let that deter you. After a 8 hour drive or a long day at work, or a little mental health break for yourself can you really put a price tag on things?? I digress ... we had Arturo Fuente sticks and a couple of glasses of wine. Heaven! Stogies we're fresh and wine was what the day needed. Will be back! The bartender was very nice and knowledgeable and friendly. Locals were there and you could tell by the way they interacted that This was the place to be.

Great cigar bar! We had such a fun time! The bar tender was knowledgeable about various spirits, friendly and made great cocktails. The cigar sommelier was friendly,knowledgeable and helpful. The atmosphere was great as was the location.

I'm a cigar newbie. My wife and I were staying a few blocks away. She fell asleep early and I wanted to try this place out. I walked in and was greeted at the door and was given the opportunity for a day membership or longer. That was about $12 for one day if I remember correctly. I told them I didn't know what I was looking for but that I recently discovered my love for cigars. They brought me into the humidor and helped me pick out a cigar. I proceeded into the bar where the bartender helped me cut and light it. Ordered some whiskey and proceeded to talk to him for the next hour or so. He was super friendly and gave me some suggestions on cigars and we enjoyed some friendly small talk. Wish I got his name so I could drop it here cause he was awesome. He even helped me pick out a few sticks for the road. If I'm ever back in this area I will 100% be stopping by again

Anywhere we go on our travels we always like to find at least a cigar bar for my husband so he can indulge and relax for a little bit after I've drove him through every tourist attraction or historical landmark in the area. Casablanca is just that. Located just minutes from Biltmore Estate it provides an upscale experience for guests. From a huge selection in their humidor with some of the top name cigars to their top shelf Bourbons and whiskeys in their bar with a dedicated and professional bartending staff. With COVID-19 precautions there is limited availability for seating and seating is on a first come first serve basis. There is limited outdoor seating. My husband and I each of the cigar and then sat back and relaxed. My husband enjoyed an old-fashioned and was very impressed at the level of alcohol and drink. I decided to start with a high wire ale but finished with a sipper of whistle pig 12 year. Really enjoyed our time here and the incredibly helpful and professional staff. It will definitely be on our list of places to stop at on our next visit to Asheville.

Finally got a chance to drop in today and check this place out. Had heard a lot of good things about it. I was not disappointed. Huge selection of cigars, super friendly staff, very nice bar, and comfortable sitting area. Loved it here. Will definitely return when I'm in area.

Justin does an amazing job making a rye whiskey old fashioned. And the amazing cigar selection is the best. If you want to enjoy a low key date, go there! And tell Sam hello if he's there.

First time in Asheville NC.... Had a Great experience!!! Great selection and well priced cigars, (James) bartender was quick, professional, welcoming and had my extra sweet old fashioned done to perfection. Host was very friendly and hospitable. Place was clean, music was perfect volume. Plenty of seating between high stools and lounge chairs. A great spot to swing by if visiting.

Wonderful ambience and service. We stopped by for my husband to try a cigar while in downtown Asheville and he loved the selections. He had a Cuban, and bought some more to go. The gentleman who helped us was courteous and knowledgeable, you can tell he truly likes what he does. We would definitely come back!

What a nice find in Hendersonville. I don't get up here often but when I do I will definitely stop in. Owner is super friendly and knows his stuff. The town council needs to get behind this shop and get him his liquor license ASAP!!! I hate it when great new places pop up and the old curmudgeons (hint hint, the tired shop around the corner) and insider politicians do their darndest to stop progress and a good new thing. I come from a town like this in Florida (Mount Dora) where 3 or 4 families own all the buildings and want to keep the town in the 1930s. Lower rents, get great new tenants, and help the new and excited owners realize their dreams. Get gov. out of the way!

If I have the time I try to visit a good cigar lounge when on vacation in a new town. Casablanca is located right near the gates of the Biltmore Estate and it's one of the best cigar lounges I've visited in a long time. First off--it has a good to great selection of fairly priced cigars (I went with a medium bodied Upton toro for about $10). Secondly--it has a TERRIFIC selection of bourbons, scotches, and ryes as well as beers on tap. It's very well lit and casual so it's good for every type of person (cigar enthusiast or newbie, street clothes or business wear). The service is super friendly, the lounge area is comfortable, and it's in a great location.

Casablanca is one of my personal favorite bars in Asheville and I do everything I can to visit when I'm in town. Located in Biltmore Village, it's convenient to a lot of other places you will likely find yourself when in Asheville. Due to the smoking, Casablanca is a private club, and you will need to visit with a member or purchase a membership yourself, which is a very reasonable fee. To sum it up, Casablanca is everything you really want and need in a cigar bar. They have a huge, walk-in humidor that features a great selection and prices that won't completely astound you. The seating areas are plentiful and comfortable, the exhaust fans work well and keep the smoke to a minimum, and they have a nice whiskey selection. The live music on select evenings is the icing on the cake. I am a fairly experienced cigar and whiskey guy, but in the off chance you are not, the staff is very helpful and available to help you find your ideal tastes without judgment. I have also had great luck striking up random conversations with fellow patrons. Cigar bars in general are always greats places to meet new friends, whether alone or with a few of yours. Casablanca is no exception. After having a drink and a smoke at Casablanca, venture around the corner to Village Wayside, which is more of a local haunt that also has a great whiskey selection. Stop number 2 on our Baecation was this very chic cigar bar. Casablanca is a treasure to Asheville for the avid cigar aficionado . While Covid prevented us from having a good drink, the cigar smoking experience was top notch. The ventilation was perfect and the set up was cozy, warm and inviting. Not to mention the Owner Evan was friendly and recommended some great choices. We had a great conversation and he assured us we need to come back when this Pandemic is behind us. I promise to be back and I encourage you to check this spot out. You will not be disappointed.

One of the very few cigar bars at which my wife will join me for an excellent cocktail. And if that doesn't tell you everything you need to know, rest assured that they have an excellent selection of Padrons and other high-end cigars, very well-kept in carefully calibrated humidors. The service is friendly and professional, the atmosphere is clean, sleek, and modern, and the ventilation is more than satisfactory. This is the place you want to smoke in Asheville. It's popular with young professionals and experienced smokers as well, and they're all friendly. A total YES.

I've been in some of the best cigar lounges in the country. The Casablanca stores are among the best. In western North Carolina, there are no rivals. Their owners are as friendly and accommodating in the industry. If they don't have it, they'll get it. You're always met by friendly staff who are very knowledgeable. The new Hendersonville location is truly a breath of fresh air. Both locations exude class and comfort and are a step above anything else in Asheville and Hendersonville. You'll be required to wear a mask in the humidor and they will provide one if you aren't prepared. It will be a welcomed addition when the Asheville location can resume liquor service. Just got I town a couple days ago and have been here twice already great place. Pretty good cigar selection great ventilation system whiskey and bourbon selection is on point and plenty of seating and above all a class spot. Great place to relax and enjoy a cigar.

The owner is really nice and the poker table was great, however the cigar selection is terrible and the owners recommendation sucked. I won't return based purely on the poor selection of cigars.

The profound knowledge of the pedigrees of cigars, whiskys and ryes is stellar. Solid advice and counsel - without being sales-y or pushy - delivered in a friendly and professional manner. Even provides expert advice on where to stock a bar at reasonable prices. Nice environment that is calm, easy and cool without pretentiousness. I'll be working and relaxing here on a regular basis. Truly a place to relax, ease into some great bourbon and smokes. I've not found a spectacular place in Asheville to hang out and enjoy, until now.

I don't even know where to start. The The bartender and the manager were so kind. My spouse and I were stranded in the middle of midday traffic at the intersection where the Biltmore McDonald's and the Bohemian Hotel are and our car wouldn't start or move. When we finally got it moved off into the side parking lot and our bengal cat, which if you don't know, is a larger breed of cat, started to pant and was very lethargic. We began to worry because we knew that he was starting to overheat. I went to the cigar bar and asked for a glass of water and they were more than happy to provide my cat with a glass of water... In a martini glass nonetheless. We are so thankful to Casablanca cigar bar for being so willing to help us for giving us water for our cat. We will definitely be coming here for drinks with friends and family. Thank you so much for your kindness.

First stop for us on our first-ever trip to Asheville was Casablanca Cigar Bar. Great atmosphere, and Atlanta (who was tending bar) was extremely knowledgeable and a delight to talk to.

I was in Asheville with my family and was told to stop in to Casablanca cigars, so we went. I purchased a few cigars that of course were not cheap well the Nub was not a bad price. But my top shelf Gurka however was a bit pricey. 3/4 of the way through the Nub it was unwrapping itself an fell apart. Looked to me like they really keep up there humidor good but I guess my mistake. My Gurka came out of the tube already with cracks down the sides and cracking all around the cap, I did use cigar glue on it to try to salvage a pricey cigar but about 1/ way through it it also fell apart. I was in the lounge and noticed they had two big woody cigars in the igar case and I asked for a price the guy who sold me the other cigars looked at me like I was crazy but could not give me a price so he asked his boss who turned around with a smart ass remark of $300.00 I said for a fifty dollar cigar he said well that is just to tell you I don't want to sell them, and that he can get them for a lot cheaper then $50.00. Well I am in Asheville at least three times a week but you can bet your ass I will never step In there again. I am a customer not one of your smart ass friends. Was not worth the $30.00 I spent on two cigars that's for sure. Unless you want and like being insulted don't shop here. D. Wealton unhappy cigar smoker.

The best cigar lounge in Western Carolina. Apart from their lounge in Hendersonville. Great service; professionalism; and ambiance. Beautiful lounge; great humidor; and bourbon and cigar selection. Met the owner "Sam", just a all around great guy. Will come back. They're on the Level.

Being from South Florida, I have definitely been to my share of cigar bars. This place made us feel right at home with their excellent selection of cigars and whisky. Great place to sit back relax and smoke! The decor in here is great and the staff is very knowledgeable about their selection of whiskey, local beer and stogies! Ask for Josh or Tim they will take care if you! Don't bitch about parking it's Asheville, find a spot and walk, it's worth it!

This is a hidden gem in Asheville, NC. Great selection of cigars and friendly staff. This is a members only establishment, but they offer a very reasonable day pass or an annual pass. Good selection of bourbon also.

Can't say enough about how much My Wife & I enjoyed our visit. We started our year visiting the NC Mountains and from the minute James greeted us when we walked in the visit was AWESOME. Great Atmosphere, Cigar Selection, and James was not only super friendly, he was very knowledgeable about cigars and a FANTASTIC Bartender! YOU MUST VISIT CASABLANCA!

Okay let's get into this one. Nice area and nice cigar bar. The selection is pretty good for this part of NC. But let me warn you before you go in. Be prepared to be followed around like a shoplifter!! This not so friendly employee was on my every step like he was on commission... I felt like I was buying a sports car and he was the salesman. Okay I get the whole customer service aspect, but we're talking about cigars. Here the clientele is usually middle to upper class and they pretty much know what they like. If this is store policy it needs to change because it was a complete turnoff for me and I will more than likely not return.

My wife (Libertad Green) and I went here on December 23rd, 2018, and, although my wife doesn't smoke, we both had a good time. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. I enjoyed a Java flavored cigar I'd never seen before, Bailey's Irish Cream, Ginger beer, black coffee and water. I regret not living in Asheville so I could go more often, and join their annual club. Google my social media for pictures.
