Casal de Armán

We had a wonderful stay. Since it was Sunday, the hotel restaurant only served lunch, but after service ended, we had the entire building to ourselves, which felt really special. Our room and common areas were spotless with amazing views. It would have been perfect to stay when dinner service was available, but Saturday rooms were booked. I'll definitely plan better next time because we'll absolutely be back.

Such a shame. ||Very beautiful property situated on a vineyard in the Ribero de Duero region. Gorgeous views, nice rooms. ||But we’ve never been treated so poorly on arrival in so many years of domestic and international travel. No one at the hotel was “working” on Sunday afternoon so a waiter in the restaurant had to show us to our room. We asked for a table for lunch but the head waiter said that they were full in spite of over half the tables being empty. It was clear that the attitude was very provincial with an emphasis on caring for the high profile locals. He referred us to a local restaurant as an alternative with the same results. ||Fine, just don’t put yourselves out there as being a hotel welcoming to anyone else from outside of Galicia. We’ve been all over Spain for the past ten days and have had nothing but good experiences since we arrived. Visitors from abroad have plenty other options. That is why we were so shocked at the arrogance displayed here. ||If you just need a room with a pretty view with no expectations of a welcome or service, this place is fine. If you are looking for more, then keep looking

We were here for a wedding celebration party and stayed 2 nights after that. The location is fabulous. The food and drink for the party was outstanding, and the service superb! The rooms are a bit dated, but comfortable. The only thing that we were disappointed with was the breakfast which was adequate but no more than that, and the one lady working had too much else to do. She certainly did her best though, and when we had to leave early on the second day she made sure that we had everything laid out for us to help ourselves.

We stayed here for one night during our trip around western Spain. Fantastic building in beautiful surroundings. Nice and comfortable rooms of a high standard and a nice balcony where you can sit and enjoy the view. The dinner was very tasty and we tried a bottle of their white wine. The breakfast was simple, rustic and very good. This was by far the best accommodation we had during our weeks in Spain. I can really recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Let's start from the welcoming ... the staff was so nice and courteous, after we were taken to our table for lunch, the service was superb, the WINES were TOP!!, the food was excellent!!! Congrats to the Chef and Team ... and that's just the beginning ... when we were escorted to our rooms it was the most relaxing, comfortable, and magical stay I have experienced in Spain. Just so relaxing with gorgeous views!!! I would highly recommend this place for a retreat with the best accommodations, great food and the WINES are a most try!!

Great experience! Food was delicious, good presentation, decent portions. We shared everything and they brought it from the kitchen like that. Desserts were outstanding. 😉 Service was very good, even though we had to wait for the check quite some time. Well worth a second visit. Boa comida, con boas porcions e un servizo adecuado. A presentación dos pratos, a carne moi ben. Os postres son deliciosos. Ben vale unha segunda visita.

We were lucky to stay two nights at this beautiful winery. It was by far the most peaceful place I've ever stayed. The rooms were nicely decorated with comfortable beds. Each room has it's own bathroom with six rooms total connected by a hallway and a fantastic common room. We had six couples so we had the entire place to ourselves. They have exquisite grounds and a view that goes on forever. We enjoyed time in the courtyard while we drank their white wine. I hope to return to Casal de Arman in two years when my husband walks the Camino de Santiago. A perfect place to celebrate his accomplishment. I will return!
