If you are seeking a tranquil holiday far from most places, then this hotel is one you should consider. It is a totally family run affair and as a result, it is very laid back and informal.||The family are very accommodating and appreciate any effort you make to speak Italian.||The food is plentiful, breakfast will set you up for the day. We did not have lunch but enjoyed dinner on a few nights. Nothing is too much trouble. Asked for bruschetta and extra ricotta and no problem.||Aldo was great.||Surrounded by sheep, sheep bells, bird chirping and crickets. Lots of wild cats but they are no bother.||A/c in room was bliss as weather so hot. Nice breeze outside. Pool was large and very quiet, felt like our own villa with catering.||Few uneven steps here and there and a steep road down to arrive. Plenty of car space.||Not a working agriturismo, just situated in the countryside.||Things I wanted to do- brush leaves, weed, water plants and some rubbish around unfortunately. Metal by pool could be moved and rooms by pool tidied up.||Room spacious enough. Bathroom bit outdated and water not working one day. Toilet very noisy ||Would recommend. We were made to feel so welcome and our daughter alrrady says she will go back!

The food and hospitality of this location was absolutely first rate. The food was delicious, authentic, and inspiring. If you want genuine homemade Sicilian cuisine, this is absolutely the place to experience it.

An old palazzo in the middle of the countryside with lots of potential but unfortunately several things are amiss. Location is incorrect on google and will take you down an abandoned country road straight into a field. One would expect owners to let you know of this since when I called for directions I was told that it happens all the time. Food was poor , the worst we had in Sicily. A carbonara that was served resembled an omelette. Pool is nice but badly needs attention with cracked tiles everywhere. Rooms are beautiful and large. The owner is a slightly eccentric man who seems to run the place a little like Basil Fawlty. I really hope the place improves- it has a lot of potential.

This is a beautiful historical palazzo family owned business. The room was very comfortable and had a large bath. The grounds were picturesque and relaxing to walk in. The family were accomodating and served us a beautiful breakfast and dinner

We only went there for a spontaneous dinner and were so greatly welcomed by the host family. Everything that we've ordered (plus some things on top that they brought us!) was so fresh & delicious!

Maybe the other positive reviewers got lucky with quieter rooms. We were not so lucky. I could hear the neighbors texting, talking, brushing their teeth, blinking. No real amenities to speak of, the room was extremely sparse and small. Bed furnishings could benefit from a little upgrade to something plush, more pillows, etc., so that while you're listening to your neighbors texting, at least you're comfortable. |On the plus side, the area is spectacularly beautiful. They have a gorgeous patio that looks out over the surrounding countryside. A quick 5 minute drive into Gangi. Dinner was pleasant, as was breakfast. Picture having breakfast at your grandfather's house, varied and generous fare. The coffee was weak, not typical Italian coffee so we found ourselves going into town for that, but the hotel might be catering to non-European tourists on that front, so can't blame them. |Overall the location and grounds can't be beat.

The area was nice however .. the rooms were not that clean .. we stayed only one night and we found a small cockroach + we found a worm underneath the bed sheets which was not really pleasant! The people are nice and everything but there needs to some attention to these things .. I understand that we are around nature but not under the bedsheets! Bathroom is okish .. I wouldn’t stay more than one night!

Peaceful location. However, the room was not that clean.. we found a small cockroach in the room and ants/worms inside the bed. Place is in need of some maintenance. It was not a great value for the money we paid.
