This is a beautiful historical palazzo family owned business. The room was very comfortable and had a large bath. The grounds were picturesque and relaxing to walk in. The family were accomodating and served us a beautiful breakfast and dinner

We only went there for a spontaneous dinner and were so greatly welcomed by the host family. Everything that we've ordered (plus some things on top that they brought us!) was so fresh & delicious!

Maybe the other positive reviewers got lucky with quieter rooms. We were not so lucky. I could hear the neighbors texting, talking, brushing their teeth, blinking. No real amenities to speak of, the room was extremely sparse and small. Bed furnishings could benefit from a little upgrade to something plush, more pillows, etc., so that while you're listening to your neighbors texting, at least you're comfortable. |On the plus side, the area is spectacularly beautiful. They have a gorgeous patio that looks out over the surrounding countryside. A quick 5 minute drive into Gangi. Dinner was pleasant, as was breakfast. Picture having breakfast at your grandfather's house, varied and generous fare. The coffee was weak, not typical Italian coffee so we found ourselves going into town for that, but the hotel might be catering to non-European tourists on that front, so can't blame them. |Overall the location and grounds can't be beat.

The area was nice however .. the rooms were not that clean .. we stayed only one night and we found a small cockroach + we found a worm underneath the bed sheets which was not really pleasant! The people are nice and everything but there needs to some attention to these things .. I understand that we are around nature but not under the bedsheets! Bathroom is okish .. I wouldn’t stay more than one night!

Peaceful location. However, the room was not that clean.. we found a small cockroach in the room and ants/worms inside the bed. Place is in need of some maintenance. It was not a great value for the money we paid.

Bucolic perfectly describes the environment of Casale Villa Raino. Sheep and cowbells can be seen and heard in the distance. The hotel and rooms are quaint. It’s well said the rooms are basic clean and comfortable. Swimming pool area is beautiful and large. Cats are plentiful. The food is plentiful, sensual and you will be sad that you have no more room in your stomach to eat more! We were the only people staying there that were not Italian. Aldo doesn’t speak much English but his beautiful daughter does.

We spent one night here while walking across the National Park. It was the best hotel we stayed in. The staff are extremely friendly - they could not have been kinder and gave us masses of help with our trip, before, during and even after our visit. Our dinner was simply excellent (and very good value) and the breakfast was great too (superb pastries, delicious jams, etc). Rooms are very spacious and comfortable, with good pillows and beds, and spotlessly clean. The hotel is beautifully situated with fine views from the terrace, and it has a lovely traditional atmosphere. We would definitely go back, maybe next time to try the pool (it wasn't warm enough to swim the night we arrived).

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights at the start of a 2 centre holiday but wished we could have stayed longer. It's a lovely, old, renovated farmhouse in the Sicilian countryside. It's easy to drive to but it is a bit off the beaten track.||||The room was rustic but perfect for the location and setting. The views from the balcony and the patio outside are stunning and worth the journey on their own.||||We ate in the restaurant on the first night then again on the second night as it was such a good experience. The antipasti was sumptuous and it just kept coming. The pasta dish was so well flavoured and again, there was loads of it. The meat course was veal meatballs with a great sauce.||||The second night's food was the same kind of thing but the flavours and sauces were different. A litre of the house wine was just 3 euros. Staff and owners were welcoming and genuinely wanted to make sure we had a good time and didn't go hungry!||||It's well worth seeking out and if you're looking for an authentic Sicilian stay, this is just for you.
