Casalinga

I love the gardens from the large vegitable garden to the cosmetic gardens around the resturant. The long lawns are also a hit, sitting under the tress is magical. The menu is good. My favorite is the white cotton serviette & hite cotton table cloths.....not many restaurants still offer cotton serviette. Real flower are always on display. I appreciate the small things. Keep it up & I will continue to come for meals & drinks.

Honestly, if you would ask me to come here again, even begged me. I would rather not. We went to the restaurant for a birthday party, and everything went terrible. Firstly, there was a music festival happening next to the venue. We were NOT warned of this when we booked the restaurant, and this in itself ruined our plans. The restaurant forced us to move to inside seating because of the festival. We booked a set number of seats, and they stacked the tables for less than we booked, making us scramble to fix their mistakes. Brunch was severely disappointing. I ordered a pizza, and loe and behold, they forgot about it, did not even bother writing it down. The food took over 50 minutes!!! to arrive, and we were not even warned that it would take longer!!! All they kept doing was taking drink orders. They brought baskets of bread to the table, but they were the smallest tiny slices, and did not even bring more bread after the baskets were finished. Everyone at the table were hungry and upset, and when the food arrived, if left much to be desired. When I finally got my pizza, it was dry and spicy. There was no spice warning on the menu. The cheesecake was fine, but I expected better from such a highly rated location. It ended up raining, and everywhere was mud, mud and more mud. We could barely even get to the car since the parking is on dirt, not even a long enough walk way to avoid mud. Vibe was off, food was disappointing, and I expected better. Would not come again, would not recommend. Go to any other restaurant, and it would be leagues ahead.

Had our Christmas party here, really beautiful place and very helpful staff. A good overall experience. Minus 2 stars because the flies were REALLY annoying. The incense that the restaurant uses to keep the flies away was also overpowering in a confined space... and didn't seem to keep the flies away.

I went to Casalinga as part of a company end-of-year function. Even with a large number of people in attendance, the service took no more than 8 minutes per drink and 14 minutes per food order excellent service. I would like to thank Robert for his excellent service and for constantly coming to our tables and asking people what they would like to drink. The was also excellent and very nice, I personally had the Lamb Shank do recommend.

We had my birthday lunch at Casalinga and I'm so glad we did! The food, as always, was exceptional. I had the fillet and it's the BEST piece of meat I've had in years. Truly melt-in-your-mouth, succulent and lovely. Afterwards we explored the grounds and found out that there is another restaurant called Leafy Greens, which serves vegan and vegetarian food. You can also buy fresh, organic produce from them. The gardens are beautiful and the produce is great. The date night special is very reasonable and we'll be doing that soon. It's definitely worth a visit.

I love Casalinga. Perfect for couples or groups. You can dine inside or under the trees and soak up the fresh air. The food? Absolutely delicious!🤤 It’s made our date night list!

We visited this place around 2pm on a Sunday. Food is always good and served quite quickly even though it our meals were lamb dishes i.e lamb chopsand lamb shank. The location is lovely and you can walk through the gardens. The waiters are usually offer good service. I have also tried the seafood pasta previously and it was delicious.

Tha sea food platter was good , so was the carpaccio. BUT the calamari wasn't fresh and the muscles were a little salty. The overall esthetic of this place is enchanting and romantic. Freshly baked bread was a winner 🏆
