Casamara

I had a great time at Casamara! Amazing space, great service and good food that you have to try. Casamara is a beautiful restaurant that's perfect for dinner with friends, a date night or a late night happy hour. It has a upscale modern vibe but is also cozy, warm and welcoming. There is plenty of space for dining whether you want to make reservations or have dinner at the bar. We went during the week around 6pm and it wasn't a lot of people there at first but it filled up quickly as the evening moved on. Our server was very warm and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. He gave us great suggestions from the menu that were very helpful. The food was really good! The truffle bucatini cacio e pepe was delicious with plenty of flavor and the harissa roasted chicken had sooooooo much flavor and was cooked to perfection. I also really enjoyed the potato and mozzarella dumpling. It was great way to kick off the meal and you really can't go wrong with potatoes and cheese. We also had the confit lamb shoulder and the fennel and heirloom beans. The lamb shoulder was pretty good but the beans weren't for me. The service, the food and the ambiance at Casamara were great. I will definitely return to try more items on the menu and would highly recommend to others.

Loved this place! Food was very flavored and well balanced. We had the tomato dumplings, harissa chicken, boar pasta and cabbage salad. The latter being the best dish. Very sexy atmosphere. But this review is mostly for our server Louie. One of the best service I’ve had in recent years. He was so knowledgeable, thoughtful and entertaining. Very rarely do you feel this taken care of at restaurants. We will be back just for him!

Stumbled upon this place with my girlfriends, and we were so happy we did! We sat at the bar and were truly wined and dined from start to finish. The interior décor is beautiful, and the food was very yummy. The service deserves a special mention—everyone was so friendly and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were having a great time. And the cabbage salad? Soooo good—still thinking about it! After dinner, make sure to visit Reynolds, the classy cocktail bar, for the perfect nightcap. Such a lovely experience all around—we’ll definitely be back!

The atmosphere is lovely, with a decent view of the city, very nice decor, and low music. I was there during the day but the night lighting would probably be pretty great. Reminded me of a beach restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic, I had chicken skewers that were excellently seasoned with cumin and mint, and the presentation was top notch. The menus also looked really nice!! Will definitely be making return trips in the future!!!

My sister and I made a reservation to Casamara because of the buzz about how great the place is. I took a peak at the menu and got really excited. Well, I cannot say enough about this place!! Top Tier!!! The venue, the layout, the decor and the ambiance for the spectacular dinner that we had as we settled into our table was extraordinary. Let's give our server all her flowers because she is one of a kind! Whether it is was drink recommendation or meal options described in full flavor, Olivia was the best! She is engaging, smart, beautiful and knows this restaurant! We love her. I hope to be back in the area by year end. All things menu related like the sardine toast, grilled fish, pasta, roasted potatoes and the divine cocktails were incredible!! For two frequent diner in the DC/Md area, this is by far one of the best experiences we've had.

Casamara was such a highlight of my stay at SIXTY DC! The entire dining experience felt thoughtful and elevated — from the warm hospitality to the beautifully curated menu. The main dining room had such a welcoming atmosphere. the decor inside is so luxe I gasped walking in! To the decor down the menus. I am a sucker for nice dinner settings. As for the food - delicious!! We had the Grilled Oysters (10/10), Otoro & Melon (10/10), Truffle Bucatini Cacio e Pepe (9/10), 16oz Aged Bone In Ribeye (10/10 - OMG), and the Summer Squash & Zucchini (8/10). My favorite cocktail on the menu was the Cote d Amour! Every detail made the experience memorable, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything felt seamless. I would absolutely recommend Casamara to anyone visiting DC — it’s the perfect mix of great food, a luxe ambiance, and great service. I can’t wait to return and try more on the menu!

Came here for dinner with my partner and he had a great dinner. The starter was so delicious. We got the Potato & Mozzarella dumpling as an appetizer and then we got the Branzino and the Wild Boar Gemelli Bolognese. I was obsessed with the Branzino. It was so buttery. The only complaint I had about this place is that it was hard to find and it’s confusing to get to.

Casamara was an absolute delight from start to finish. During my stay at Sixty DC I made it a point to dine at Casamara and it was truly divine. The atmosphere is calming and beautifully designed which made it the perfect place to unwind before starting my day of shooting. The breakfast was unforgettable. Every dish felt intentional with fresh flavors and a level of care that stood out. The tea was so soothing that I made sure to return the next morning before checking out. It felt like a small luxury I wanted to experience again before leaving. The staff was warm attentive and thoughtful which made the experience even better. Casamara felt less like a restaurant and more like a comforting pause in my busy schedule. I will absolutely be returning. ❤️
