This Stunning New Resort on Mexico's Pacific Coast Is the Perfect Vacation for Families With Young Children
"Fronting the resort’s private beach, the farmhouse-inspired Casamilpa was equally family-friendly and inventive: the staff produced a high chair, kids’ menu, and a suction plate for Luca without a hint of fuss while we dove into chef Tonatiuh Cuevas’s menu inspired by local vendors and the Indigenous Huichol nation. We started with smoky chili mezcal cocktails and the ceviche Fabiana (shrimp, scallops, and octopus served in a warm chile-spiked broth), then shared a fileted red snapper slicked with green salsa on one side and red on the other, served with roasted vegetables and corn tortillas for DIY tacos; at breakfast Casamilpa delivered pot-of-coffee-with-cinnamon, chilaquiles for the adults, fluffy pancakes for the tot, and conchas all around." - Sarah Bruning
