Casas de Suenos in Old Town Albuquerque was amazing! Beautiful grounds, the rooms are cozy and have so much personality, peaceful and very pretty. The owner provides incredible service and is attentive and ready to help. We got to witness a wedding there and it was gorgeous! It is close to everything, walking distance from Old Town and a bunch of cool restaurants and shops, a two minute drive from downtown. The rooms were reasonable and the staff did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and private. If you are looking for a hotel in Albuquerque, if you are looking for things to do in Albuquerque, NM - start here!

This place is amazing! I never knew there existed such a tranquil b&b wonderful for events of all types! The courtyard is well maintained and the casitas are gorgeous in the new Mexican style! Staff was great, friendly and knowledgeable, ready to serve our ever need. I would highly recommend anyone passing through Albuquerque to check this diamond in the rough out.

Lovely inn 5 minute walk to old town. We stayed in a two room suite and it was huge, comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated in the southwestern style. The gardens were lovely and the breakfast very nice and included in the room fee which I so appreciate. The hot tub area was a lovely serene oasis. I just wish they indicated on their website that it was for 21 years and older as I had promised my kids water and they were disappointed. Other than this it is a lovely place to stay and I would definitely stay there again anytime in Albuquerque. I highly recommend!

This was the best part of our Albuquerque Santa Fe vacation. The suite we had was just the right amount of space, with a small kitchen, sitting area, desk in addition to the bedroom. The grounds are meandering with paths connecting individual rooms - a feeling of spaciousness and places to discover. In other words, a lot of character and atmosphere. The breakfasts were gracious and generous, served to each table rather than a formulaic buffet. There is a gorgeous outdoor hot tub area- bring your bathing suit. We were within short walking distance of old town and yet very close to main highways. We were so happy we chose to stay here for our entire vacation and "commute" to Santa Fe. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful, relaxing space. You will not think you are in the city. It is full of separate casitas and amazing art. When we checked in, we were exhausted and hungry from delayed flights, and we were warmly greeted by the sweetest young lady. She showed us the property, showed us how to work our private hot tub, and gave us recommendations and directions on where to eat since everything was going to be closing soon. We loved her. Our room was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed, and the private hot tub was a perfect way to end a long day. I wish we could have stayed longer.

What a fantastic, beautiful bed and breakfast offering the most charming and unique individual casitas! I loved this place! The grounds are gorgeous, and there is a really nice hot tub area available. A super delicious breakfast with comfortable seating is offered in a beautiful dining space. The service was excellent, and numerous menu items were offered. I will definitely stay here again when in Albuquerque. Highly recommended!

Google
The staff was very friendly and. accommodating. Our girls friendship of 50 years trip would rate this bed and breakfast 5 stars. Breakfast was delicious and the dessert and happy hour were enjoyable. The staff made us feel at home. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

We will definitely be back!our fave places to eat and drink where Tiny Grocery in Old Tiwn for coffee/lunch, Cocina Azul (5 min uber) and Marvel brewing, also a five min uber.. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
We stumbled upon this gem while on our cross country road trip. This was just the magical oasis we didn't know we needed. We were welcomed with a smile and just the right amount of information from Christian, whose family owns the business. He showed us all the amenities of the casa as we marveled at the beautiful courtyard. When we got to our casita we stepped in and felt like we were in a magazine. The authenticity and well curated decorations were beautiful. Christian gave us some great tips on the area for our 1 day stay. We ended up going to high noon restaurant and then outpost bar which were both great. When we got back to the casa we enjoyed the courtyard with a glass of wine and then snuggled in to the wonderful bedding and called it a night. Breakfast the next morning was served hot and fresh in the sunroom. The meal was delicious and filling. We were then able to walk 5 minutes in to old town to do some shopping. There were so many great shops to explore as well as history to uncover in the town. All in all we can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Historic hotel located next to a park and right in Old Town Albuquerque. We stayed in the O'Keefe Casa which was newly renovated and very nice. We were close to the hot tubs and had a small private patio. Luanne at check in was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. Made to order entrees. We sat by a lively fire listening to calming music while we ate. Now for the hot tub....wow! What a beautiful zen experience. The fire pots and calming sounds of running water mixed with the heat of the hot tub lent to a relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Nice to have a 1920/30 style room in New Mexican decorations. This used to be an art colony. Has 17 rooms. 2 big hottubs in the courtyard. At night, they have firepits by them. Very nice to go in. We did 1 morning and hung out at night. Very nice thick towels by the hottub. The breafast had a few items to order from the menu. It is included. Nice fireplace in small restaurant in clubhouse/checkin. It is included. You also had basic continental items included. Lots of flowing water and colorful sculptures in garden. They do weddings here. Different views during the day. Lit up at night. Staff gave us a tour upon arrival. Mostly street parking. Our room had a queen sized bed, small bathroom, closet, kitchen, and living room. Beats hotel room. Gas range and fridge and krups.

Yelp
You'll find lots of New Mexico character in this collection of casitas. It's a quiet residential neighborhood, a pleasant walk from various attractions. We stayed in the Manzano hot tub suite in November 2023. Think funky, not luxury. If you visit in the winter, the wood-burning fireplaces are a cozy perk. Housekeeping will make up your fire every day, so all you have to do is light it. Our private hot tub was clean, and the brand new outdoor spa area is gorgeous. (That part IS luxury.) Our chilly stay let us know that the insulation could be better, especially in the bathroom, but the thick bedding made us very comfortable at night. There are lots of imperfections in the edges of the historic buildings -- nothing that we would get fussy about. The hot water in the sink and shower takes a long time. No tv in the bedroom area. Breakfast was charming, with adequate continental choices and quick, friendly service on hot food to order. Don't come primarily for the food, but do expect to enjoy it. We would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Two and a half stars - Casas De Suenos is advertised as a three star destination, we disagree with that descriptive (please see photos). Casas De Suenos is historic and it certainly has some charming characteristics but if you're looking for anything sleek with modern conveniences, you may want to look elsewhere. The good - The staff is most definitely top-notch. Location was perfection. We were served a "cook to order" breakfast, which was hearty and delicious. We stayed in the Willis room.... We adored the wood burning fireplace. The rest of the story - the room felt a little bit cramped - it contained a king size bed, side chair, a weird metal table with two stools, a small counter, fridge small sink and microwave. There were two skylights, one in the ceiling in the sleeping area, the other skylight in the bathroom. It was lovely gazing at the moon but not so lovely having ambient light while trying to sleep. There were two (unused) connecting doors, a decent sized walk-in closet. The room also contained a linen closet and a bizarre little cubby in the bathroom. The bathroom was eclectic - large glass cube nightlight in the wall near the ceiling. A pedestal sink, commode, corner shower - all done in fashionable 1970's glistening black. Now, the bathroom would have been so much better if it had an area to place you toiletries - unfortunately it did not. The provided amenities were unusual! The provided soap was likened to a pumice stone (as much as I like exfoliating) it left much to be desired and fell apart as we used it. We were unable to modulate the temperature in our room, once the fire went out. The bed was okay, linens were decent, towels were nice. We had an updated room - per requested.

Yelp
We had a really scary experience here. I called the front desk to ask for a little more wood, and somehow we got connected with.. someone. We are a quiet and polite couple, and I have many thousands of points at Choice Hotels. I was told by the staff, and this is an exact verbatim quote: "I'm coming to get you, mother******." Needless to say, we fled and are at another motel. I'm not one to slag the staff, and I stay maybe fifty nights a year in choice hotels, but this was pretty scary. A very angry man told us he was "coming for you in five minutes." We cleared out as asked, but it was one of the scarier experiences of recent memory. I won't be calling the police or even complaining to the owners (I do a lot of business with them and will continue to) But this is the singular worst hotel experience of my life. We had to literally pack up and go, as we were asked to. Embassy Suites has similar pricing and is close by. Although I'm not interested pursuing this further, we got a raw deal here. If you are still reading, the room was cozy and pleasant, the desk staff, Radiance was efficient and nice. The breakfast is made to order, mostly - better than other Choice hotels.

Yelp
Wonderful find that's within walking distance to Old Town! My husband and I were in Albuquerque recently to visit family, and I thought it would be fun to stay near Old Town. This is the cutest, most charming, Inn! Our room (Casita) had a kitchen and living room, in addition to the bedroom and bath, and a private patio. The grounds are also beautiful. We were told that the hotel used to be an artist community. They also provide a hot breakfast in the morning - delicious. We also loved that we were able to walk to historic Old Town (so much fun) and not have to deal with parking. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Oh my goodness!! Such a quirky historic stay. The native southwest vibe is in every corner! "Modern"i" it is not but please stay here to get a Native New Mexico stay. Breakfast if cooked to order and delicious! Stay, stay, stay!!

Yelp
Recently stayed at this inn for a wedding and while the wedding and marriage was beautiful, the inn fell short of really being a full 5 stars. The woman in charge was unhelpful. She wouldn't lift a finger to help with anything but called herself the wedding planner. She wouldn't even cut the cake and pass it out, she wouldn't even allow any of her employees help us even though two house cleaners offered to assist us. The cleaning crew are the only kind people willing to help in that place. This place gets three starts for their cleaning crew alone. The front desk was always rude. And the food for breakfast was unimpressive. For the price of the wedding I expected much much more. Such a disappointment. I do not recommend having a wedding here. It will not be a stress free wedding. And if you stay at the inn make sure to get the only remodeled room.

Yelp
A delightful, historic find in olde town Albuquerque. We didn't know what we didn't know but now we do and this bed & breakfast is a charming delight with a mom'n'pop feel. It's a bit worn around the edges, but overall you get a clear sense of it's artsy, historic past. I can see the likes of Frida and her beloved, Diego, kibitzing about amongst their contemporaries. Ahhhhh, if these walls could talk. And, honestly, I got the sense that some from the past, pranksters, if you will, are still hanging about. In the evening hours, there's a mystery about the place that lends itself to a film-noir feel. We loved it. Breakfast was Okedy-day, likely their breakfast burrito is slammin'

Yelp
Ghosted us after our wedding event was cancelled due to Covid shut downs in 2020. Refuse to refund over $3,000 they are contractually obligated to, even after being contacted by our attorney. Unethical business practice. I would not recommend doing business with these folks. They also operate under Genesis Worldwide Resorts, LLC.

Terry T.

Yelp
Sophia at front desk was very nice... I would of gave it 5 stars just for her.. they're little Casitas that are quite neat really... as she was taking us to our casita. We walked to a beautiful garden like setting.. our casita was supposed to be just remodeled.... It was like two little casitas parked in a parking lot. no grass& no outside chair to sit.. inside was remodeled, but then they put an old saggy bed with awful bedspread that looks like it hasn't been washed in years.. with it being remodeled, so nice I would've thought they would've put a new mattress in & fresh inviting bedspreads on it and the rug had all stains. With that yes I would recommend it, but I would make sure your room is inside the garden area that was quite lovely with chairs outside & grass. Breakfast was excellent.. nice that it's made to order & was delicious :)

Yelp
We looked and looked for a wedding venue in Albuquerque and everything was so "hotelish" until we were recommended to Casas de Suenos by our photographer and we fell in love with it. It is an owner-operated beautiful and pleasant hotel that offers the feel of Old Albuquerque with beautiful gardens and trails. Our outdoor ceremony was a dream and at dusk our reception looked like something out of a movie! Leanne the owner is an absolute pro and kept things organized and moving along. We loved it and will go back just to stay on long weekends!

Yelp
This is a lovely Inn in a great location in Old Town Albuquerque. We had a little casitas with a bedroom, bath, living room area and full kitchen looking out on the garden. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast made to order is delightful. Lots of ambiance and homey touches and great art. This isnt a luxury resort and the kitchen is missing utensils, but it is comfortable and charming and the kitchen does have a full refrigerator and freezer, microwave and coffee maker with coffee. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend Casas De Suenos

Andrea G.

Yelp
We could not be happier to have booked Casas de Suenos to be our wedding ceremony and reception venue! LeeAnn, the owner, gave us a remarkable amount of attention throughout the planning process. Without her help, our wedding would have been far more stressful. Casas is gorgeous and we were also incredibly happy with our room, complete with hot tub. Our guests were amazed at how beautiful everything turned out and we had several people tell us after the fact that they interacted with LeeAnn and were impressed with how well she coordinated everything. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Yelp
Fantastic staff but everything else was terrible!!! Do not waste your time or money here. Our room was unfinished, and not ready at check in time. We didn't even have a smoke detector! We got chewed up by bugs both in our room and in the reception hall. Don't think it was the fire ants that got into our room because we took care of those. The dining area has a leaky roof. The owners are not friendly at best. The male owner screamed at me and slammed our room door the first night. His wife then confronted us and told us we could leave if we were unhappy. We explained that we wanted to stay because we were attending a wedding there the next day. The next morning the toilets clogged up in our room and the connecting one. When the male owner came to investigate the issue, my boyfriend calmly approached him and told him that he had frightened me the day before. We were told to get out if I was afraid of him. We were then accused of deliberately clogging the toilet so we could get the room for free. (Trust me, we didn't clog the toilet and couldn't possibly have clogged the toilet in another room we had never been in.) Needless to say, we left.

Yelp
Sweet charming place! Fantastic location 1 block from old town in a quiet neighborhood. The grounds are beautiful and our little 1 bedroom casita had charming and private outdoor patio. The delicious breakfast was fantastic very fresh ingredients and so well prepared! I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Yelp
We were told it was safe to park either in front of our unit or behind. We asked again to make sure, and parked in front. Next morning, we found the rear window of our hatchback bashed in, and any contents of value stolen. When I went to the front desk, the clerk said "Oh, you're the Volvo owner" (they had known but not bothered to inform us, even though some items were still visible in the car). The clerk's focus was on defensiveness, to the point of deception -- I asked if this happened frequently, and was told it never ever happened; yet when I called the police they initially thought I was the husband of another guest who had called earlier that morning to report items stolen from her car. When I put this to the clerk later she admitted knowing about it. The police too showed little interest, failing to call back as promised to get information for a formal report. Many thanks to the maintenance staffer who helped us clean the broken glass from our car.

Yelp
My husband found this charming bed and breakfast on our visit to Albuquerque, Santa Fe & Taos. Outstanding accommodations and staff. Ezzy, was especially helpful in accommodating us an extra night without moving to another casita. Beautiful grounds, delicious breakfast with variety. Old Town shops are within walking distance. An absolute must when staying in Albuquerque.

Yelp
We just got married at Casas de Sueños on June 17th, 2023 and it was PERFECT. If you're looking for a cozy, New Mexico feel, this is the place for you. LeeAnn and the team were extremely friendly and efficient from the moment we booked. We chose a DJ and caterer from a list of recommended vendors provided by LeeAnn making coordination simple. LeeAnn was quick to answer all last minute questions in the weeks prior and made sure everything went smoothly the day of. The courtyard is beautiful with lights hanging between large trees, flowers planted throughout, and gazebo in the middle. It comfortably fit 150 guests and the vendors. My family booked most of the rooms over the weekend and the Casas team handled our shenanigans with ease. The rooms have unique decorations with modern amenities and breakfast is included every morning. It is a 5 minute walk from Old Town, about 1 mile from Sawmill Market, and about 1/2 mile to Tingley Beach where you can find a nice walking path. We felt safe the whole time and none of our family/friends said anything to contradict that. My husband and I will absolutely be coming back for anniversaries and any other reason we can find. I could not recommend Casas de Sueños more. :)

Yelp
I have mixed reviews. I'll start with the positive. It's very quaint and traditional New Mexican. I love the casita. We had our own separate casita with a private driveway and back patio entrance. A hot tub in unit and separate living room and bedroom. Traditional hard wood floors in need of refinishing. We stayed in the Secret Garden casita. The grounds were pretty with a lot of places to walk and light fixtures around. Also a artistic gazebo. I bet the flowers and garden in the summer is exquisite. Right in the middle of old town it's walking distance to the plaza. My main downfall was the jacuzzi was toooo hot. It got to 101 and was scorching. Mine at home is set at 104 and it's perfect. I lowered it to 98 to use the next morning and it was still only enough to put our feet in. They also didn't have ice on the grounds only in summer they said. They have Netflix you can use if you have an account. However it stopped working in the morning and they couldn't fix it. I would go back and try it again for sure. Maybe the manzano room with the fireplace. Overall it was worth it

Eric K.

Yelp
Definitely a mixed review. Breakfast - skip, its disgusting. Plenty of options in the surrounding area. Bathroom - pretty bad, old decrepit piping, loose tile, clogged shower head, and damaged shower valve leading to a bad shower experience. General - broke down, old and damaged paint, trim, handles, etc here and there. The property could fix this miscellaneous stuff if they cared. Bed, very nice and comfy. Blankets and bedding nice and comfortable. Air conditioning/heat - great, were very comfortable Appeal - nice, casita vibe and comfortable place Location - right across the street from old town. great for walking. Nice staff and wonderful story. Really liked the place aside from the stuff up top. I would go back, but just consider it a "hotel" since the bed and breakfast thing doesnt really stack up.

Yelp
This is the 2nd time we stayed at the Casas de Suenos - this time I picked the big Kachina suite. A suite of many cool pieces of furniture laid out well in big rooms. As a person who cares about room character & comfort - with the exception of the bathroom - this suite has a lot going for it. The sofas were comfortable, the table convenient for dining & laptops. The bed was comfortable - we slept well & the pillows provided were great. If you've read any of my other hotel reviews you know pillows can be a real problem for this fussy traveler. Earlier that day, I'd shipped the pillow back I'd bought earlier in the trip. So having good pillows was a big relief. As before, the breakfast was amazing. The hubby had his eggs & bacon, me the quesadilla, great coffee & fresh fruit. The BEST breakfasts we had the entire two weeks we were in New Mexico were had HERE. Everything was thought of - convenience & traditional choices of a continental buffet augmented by to-order choices. High quality food in a pretty & interesting environment. My disappointment with the Kachina suite was the bathroom. Beyond being boring beyond belief, the claw foot tub is smothered in shower curtains that don't move away easily for a tub bath. Taking a shower was even more impossible - you couldn't budge an inch without getting wrapped in a piece of plastic. This is a bathroom & vanity area crying out for a redesign. There were a couple of cleanliness issues - the skylight really draws your eyes up to the pretty view - marred by the obvious interior grubbiness of the corners. This wasn't a missed month's cleaning - this was much more - which makes it a management issue. I hope management doesn't let this wonderful place fall too far into disrepair.

Yelp
Looks fantastic, gardens are beautiful and tranquil, but.... The rooms are nicely decorated but a little outdated. The sofa-bed in our room was falling apart and the toilet didn't flush properly. We told the receptionist and were moved to another room. They served a good breakfast which we enjoyed. Great location but the bathrooms need renovating.
google avatar

Claudia D.

Yelp
I must admit when we first drive up I was a little hesitant to stay, but it was really nice...we got a mini apartment and had a long driveway that was able to hold our 20ft trailer and both our cars. Everything was all within walking distance on sights and shopping and the breakfast was made to order and very tasty! I think the only complaint we had was that the wifi was not working very well but can't really complain since it was free. The staff was awesome and very friendly and accommodating.
google avatar

Christine P.

Yelp
This place is charming and has alot of character and just what you would expect for a bed and breakfast. It's a short walk to Old town and a Walgreens if you need to pick a few things up. The staff was so kind, helpful and courteous. I give this place 2 thumbs up

Yelp
I stayed at this beautiful, cozy inn this week and it was a great experience. The staff went above and beyond as soon as we arrived. A knowledgeable young woman took us to our casita and explained things we needed to know. We had to leave early in the morning for the airport so the front desk ask the chef to come in earlier than usual so we could have breakfast before we left! We were in the dining area about 6:45am and the chef was there and made breakfast burritos that he foil wrapped and sent with us! We had fresh fruit and bagels too. The experience was awesome from beginning to end. I would recommend this charming inn to anyone.

Yelp
Felt discriminated against. I booked the Secret Garden room and paid online. In mid process of checking in the desk clerk informed me that the room was already occupied and the entire building was booked. She seemed to change her mind about renting to me after she found out I was a local intending to spend the night relaxing in the Jacuzzi located in the room. Felt very discriminated against.

Yelp
We were happy with our stay at Casas de Suenos. The front desk staff was so accommodating and polite and really helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Get the breakfast burrito-- easily one of the best I've ever had. The casitas are lovely and I really liked the wood details throughout. The location is perfect-- just steps from Old Town, and an easy home base for exploring northern New Mexico. That said, I'm giving four instead of five stars because the housekeeping was a bit lacking-- there were Kleenex left over in the garbage bin, and a dirty mug in the microwave of our casita. Otherwise, everything else was clean and well-maintained. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Yelp
The hotel is two blocks from the edge of Old Town. The grounds are very nice, as is the staff we met. The breakfast area and food are great. Our casa was cute and surprisingly large, especially the kitchen. The Porter unit could use some refinements and attention to details. Overall a nice place to spend a couple of nights in Albuquerque.

Yelp
I can't say enough about how wonderful this Bed and Breakfast is!!! Friendly staff, perfect walkability to Old Town, clean rooms with a lot of privacy. Cute and quaint location with beautiful gardens. We will definitely be staying here again next time we visit New Mexico.

Yelp
This was a wonderful, eclectic hotel near old town. Very clean, delightfully attentive staff with a great breakfast.

Yelp
We had a wonderful visit here. Our group of 4 (2 adult couples) stayed in the El Rincon. The El Rincon is a 2 bedroom casita with 2 bedrooms each with a private bath, one bathroom had a jacuzzi tub, a gas fireplace, living room, small kitchen, and a private outdoor patio area suitable for dining. Beds were comfy. The made to order breakfasts were delicious and enjoyed in the dining area that had a wonderful wood fireplace and relaxing music. We enjoyed omelets and burritos with delicious vegetables, fat pancakes, and fresh fruit and coffee. Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. It is within walking distance of Olde Towne, which is full of restaurants and quaint small shops. The red chile peanut brittle from The Candy Lady is unique and amazing. We did the Breaking Bad RV tour, which was a whole lot of fun and is located in Olde Towne and within walking distance. I would highly recommend!

Yelp
when they say "close" to Old Town, they mean don't get in the car, just walk. I think they do mention "within walking distance" But really you have to rent a car in Albuquerque (as in most cities) and Old Town wasn't the greatest entertainment anyway. This B&B was actually one of the best parts of our little trip. The place is cozy and interestingly decorated. it's pretty big and there is a nice garden. The ppl were so nice. The Bfast was delish and their green chile was one of the best I had while we were there. coffee and tea around all the time. A nice sun room area where some of the tables are. Free internet. Our room was huge. and situated away from the rest of the complex with just one other suite. We had a fireplace which they cleaned and restocked each night. there was a steer skull above the fireplace (nice). I see there is another villa with a jacuzzi, maybe next time!

Yelp
Casa de Suenos was dreamy indeed, well beyond my expectations! A beautiful garden courtyard with enchanting pathways, cozy benches, twinkling lights and nurtured spring flowers. The "El Prado" casita (which cost us around 100/night off season0 was clean and quaint. The New Mexican decor was perfectly charming and the bed was soft and heavenly! I think it was only a queen, but being a good four feet off the ground felt stately and luxurious. Breakfast, included in a night's stay price, was exceptional and leisurely served with a smile in the sunny breakfast nook. Free wifi, a computer station and personal attention all added to this already welcoming experience. I would stay again in a heartbeat...let's go!

My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night and the night after -- even though I'll admit that we were blinded by the newlywed glow, I can't say that Casas De Suenos was anything less than magical. The courtyard is wonderful -- there are little artistc touches every where -- and exactly the place you want to be to unwind after the madness that is the days leading up to a wedding. The room was quiet, large and comfy. Just walking across the courtyard to breakfast was an experience and it was made to order and fresh. I couldn't get enough hash browns, maybe it was because I hadn't eaten carbs for the previous 3 months... I think that this place is really best suited for a long term stay rather than a couple of nights -- our room had a full kitchen and a private driveway, perfect for someone staying a few weeks in ABQ.

Yelp
We had our wedding at Casas de Suenos and it was amazing! The venue is beautiful and perfect for an outdoor wedding - it's a great backdrop for the photos as well. LeeAnn and her staff are extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. We (and multiple guests) stayed at Casas de Suenos as well, the rooms are so unique and quaint. The breakfast is delicious and made to order. Thank you LeeAnn!!!

Yelp
We held our wedding and reception at Casas de Suenos in April of 2018, and it was amazing! LeAnn was so helpful, and walked a complete novice like me through the process and helped make sure everything was in order. We were supposed to hold both the ceremony and the reception outdoors, but due to the weather that was impossible. Thankfully, LeAnn was able to help us move our reception to the indoor location and it was so beautiful! We also stayed the night that evening, and the room we were in and also the rooms our family members stayed in were all amazing. It's such a unique place for either a wedding or a stay in town, and the location is close to lots of fun places to explore in Old Town or the Downtown area. It's such a beautiful place, and it's an experience I haven't had anywhere else! I can't wait for our next stay!

Yelp
My husband and I held our wedding at this beautiful location on 11/10/18. The venue was amazing! You feel like you are in Taos or Santa Fe without the high price! It is an oasis in a huge city. The staff was professional and provided personal service. The owner is also top notch! We held the reception in the ballroom near Central. Again beautiful! Small but big enough. Our wedding attendance was about 120 and it was a perfect size. Ask the owner for recommendations for food, DJ, decorating and bar! We went with her recommendation and we loved all the vendors! They also work well together at the reception hall since they have worked together for prior events at the hall. I lived in North Valley of Albuquerque all my life and never see or heard of this location. It is truly a diamond in the Desert. If you are looking for an place that provides high quality service with personal attention you have to see this place!

Yelp
Beautiful setting! We were in town for one night and stayed two. Custom cooked breakfast, even in the time of Covid. Wonderful grounds. An oasis in our travels. Definitely will come back . . . even from western Nevada!

Yelp
This is a charming place, with one bedroom casitas and little kitchens. We are regular business travelers to Albuquerque and were just burning out on the upscale places (Hyatt, Embassy Suites, Sheraton, etc), and wanted something different. It's an old artist colony with little cottages arranged in a rectangle enclosing a large courtyard. Each cottage has a front street entrance (small quiet streets), and a back door into the courtyard. Our cottage ("Route 66") was very clean, filled with tasteful art and new hardwood floors. The bed was very comfy, the furniture was in good condition and clean. The breakfast area (free off a menu) was spectacular, a burning fireplace, many tables, roomy and comfortable. The lobby (open 24/7) was comfortable and artsy as well, and had free computer and internet. The internet in our room had a fair signal, plenty for email, etc. It's true that the plumbing and heating systems are dated, even a little noisy, but they are in good working order. You know, if you want to get away from the big chains, you have to do a little give and take. I'll take a funky faucet in exchange for the free magnificent breakfast burrito with chorizo, and a noisy heater in exchange for shiny hardwood floors and local art. The front desk is welcoming and service oriented, and has all the brochures for local attractions. It is a good place for business folks like us or vacationing families. We are long time Albuquerque business visitors, so we feel secure there. The downtown drunks and homeless are nice enough and I have never been bothered. I can tell you that we felt as safe in the Casas as downtown at the Hyatt. The after hours location is better at Casas than downtown, because Old Town (two blocks away) is where all the interesting shops and restaurants are located, unless you are going way out to the University District. Our favorite Albuquerque restaurant, Antiquity, is 2 and half blocks from the Casas. Our favorite Mexican diner, Garcias, is midway between Casas and downtown (5 blocks). Casas de Suenos is where we will be staying for future short term visits.

Yelp
I might have come here with high expectations due to the previous reviews, but the room we stayed in (Zuni) was not anything spectacular. I understand that the place is over 100 years old and that it was originally built as an artist colony or something like that, but there does come a time when you need to renovate or update things, and there is a way to do that without changing the feel of the room. Our room was large, the price was reasonable ($99 off season) and breakfast was great. We had a king bed with an authentic adobe headboard. Fridge and coffee maker in room, fireplace and TV. My only complaint for the place was the bathroom. In our room we had a shower stall (no tub) and it could have used a deep cleaning. The silicone or grout around the shower was gross, the inside of the shower did not look clean at all (but it may have just been "aged") and the shower head had calcium build up (from the hard water) all on it. If it wasn't for the bathroom, I probably would have given this place 4 stars. The location is great, we were able to walk across the street to the Old Town Plaza for dinner and shopping.

Yelp
We stayed at Casas des Suenos for a three day weekend in NM for my wife's birthday, and were quite looking forward to the stay. We had booked the Secret Garden suite, given the positive reviews on the web. Overall, we would say that it was nice, but not quite what we look for in a B&B, and quite overpriced for what you get. The pluses: excellent location, just a block or two walk to Old Town; the grounds are quite nice; breakfast was nice. The minuses: seemed sort of impersonal; we didn't feel there was a great expertise among the staff about what to do in Albuquerque (e.g., the clerk the Friday afternoon we checked in had never heard of the restaurant "Antiquity" ... a block away and well rated); there were zero guidebooks in the lobby to compensate; the rooms were a bit tattered on the edges (e.g., shower tiles pulling away from the wall); the wifi was intermittent. For the price, it just wasn't all that. As for the hot tub, I must say it was bizarre. The casita was essentially four rooms: living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. But, everything had been removed from the kitchen and instead there was this big hot tub. We did use it, and it was relaxing, and it embued us with that so-sexy-just-came-from-a-swim-at-the-Y-chlorine-smell. Nice idea, perhaps to have the tub, but given the set-up of the casita, we would really rather have just had a nice kitchenette. Who knew? I'm sure the people who wrote more positive reviews had a great time...but we were underwhelmed. There are several B&B's in Old Town, for example, we quite liked the the Maugher B&B (though it is a bit farther away). It was better kept, and the staff were genuinely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Though some guests disparaged it, one interesting thing about Casas de Suenos is the "Nautilus" addition on the front. This piece of controversial architecture was designed years ago by Albq native Bart Prince (one of the most interesting and innovative architects in the US, bartprince.com ). Sadly, it, like other things here, could use some maintenance. I am a New Mexico native, now living in Seattle so we really look forward to our visits home to dry out and brighten up. The trip to NM was still outstanding, we were just expecting more, and got less at Casas de Suenos.

Yelp
This may be a review saying something about Albuquerque, rather than the Inn, but the Inn does share the best and worst of Albuquerque in my opinion. When I originally booked the 'casita' for 8 nights and received the email confirmation, I noticed that they had made a small error in the calculation, and after the deposit had a balance due that was $40 too high. I thought at the time that I'd just sort that out when I checked out. I would be driving a long distance and arriving late, so I asked about that. One of the major reasons why I had selected Casa de Suenos is that they indicated that they had free parking, breakfast, wi-fi, etc.; I'm very leery of hotels/inns where I pay half the cost of the room in additional charges. There is major road construction going on as of February around that area, and I ended up getting fairly lost, parking somewhere nearby, and walking around until I found the entrance. This was not easy in the dark after an eight hour drive. There seems to be minimal staff, there's a placard with a number to call at the front desk. The very nice person who came out showed me to my room through the gardens. She was very, very nice, but I felt a bit apprehensive that I would ever be able to find it on my own, 'warren-like' was how I immediately thought of it. The property is very large. Again, it's very charming, but meeting a group of people in the courtyard who were also lost and had to repark, I couldn't help but think that it's okay for some amount of charm and ambiance to be lost, for some well-lit clear signage and pathways. I don't remember how many 'casitas' there are, but there are a lot, and they look very similar and are tucked away. Maybe just what one wants, but emphasizing here that they aren't marked, or if they are, it was beyond my capability to see :) The casita where I was staying was truly impressive. I couldn't believe how big it was, and nicely furnished. The price is remarkably low for a space like this. It's such a nice, large, private, artistic and charming setting, yet near the airport and downtown, I'd think a wedding here would be perfect. However, the coffee maker, TV, hair dryer, etc. proved to be too much for me to figure out how to operate, when I wanted to operate them. Maybe you don't need that stuff for an interesting nice vacation, but it didn't occur to me that you have to flip the wall switch for the power in some outlets, etc. in my pre-coffee mind, but it did occur to me that they just threw those things in there so no one would complain, but it's not what they are about. There's no information. I couldn't find a phone. The coffee maker in particular threw me for a loop. It was huge, and on a counter where if you lifted the lid, the lid hit the cabinet on top, so you had to relocate the whole thing to use it, but then there's the outlet question, etc. I know this sounds pretty trivial, but if you want coffee in the morning and have a casita with a kitchenette and a coffee maker, it can be pretty frustrating to think that no one at the Inn has actually thought through what anyone would have to do to make coffee there. I'm just as certain no one at the Inn has ever actually tried to sleep in the bedroom, if so there's no chance they would have put the cheap blinds there, where the sun exactly hits the bed in tiny blinding stripes. There's plenty of coffee available though in the dining room though, along with a very nice made to order breakfast available, as well as the usual continental suspects out. The staff is so friendly. This is not the kind of bed-and-breakfast where the guests co-mingle though. Privacy is great and this may be a plus, but I've never before seen a guest actually rush someone in their party over to a nice table, before I had a chance to take it, far from greeting anyone with a good morning. My casita had a private driveway where they said I could park, so I drove around and parked there. I was really pleased about this, don't know how other guests parked. I was a little less pleased when I discovered there is a large tree overhanging the driveway, and my car was completely covered with droppings the next day. My car isn't particularly clean, mind you, but I'm not talking a few, I'm talking about must-immediately-go-to-a-car-wash-while-trying-not-to gag. It was about an inch think under the car, I guess I didn't notice it in the dark when I originally parked. Running out of room :) So, on the last night, someone tried to break in through the window on the street/driveway side, broken glass, the whole bit, but they were foiled by the iron bars. They must have thought to open the door next to the window, but there's an additional iron screen door. Be sure to lock this, lucky we did! They were nice about it, and said that it had never happened before. I was pretty surprised when I went to check out, they had already run my credit card, and presented me with an invoice that was not broken down. We left quickly.

Yelp
Great price, personable suite and decor, friendly staff, good breakfast. The one con to our suite (La Miradora) was that it didn't have a stand-up shower; but the large bathtub was outfitted with a wand, which worked fine. Lots of pros: - Great value for the price. For one-fifty, La Miradora has two bedrooms (king + queen) and an air-mattress pull-out couch. - Nice decor. Much more inviting than a plain white box hotel room. - Pretty grounds and sunny breakfast room. - Very tasty made-to-order breakfast at no extra charge. - Friendly staff. Our sofa bed was missing sheets, and even after the main desk had closed they came over quickly to outfit us with sheets. They also arranged for after-hours checkin. And the first reason was location; we were visiting relatives (who already had guests staying at their house), and Casas de Sueños was only a mile away. I'd gladly stay here again, and already recommended it to some friends/family.

Yelp
If we could rate 10 stars we would. This venue was absolutely perfect for our wedding. Leann was amazing and her team never skipped a beat. What we loved about using Casa de Suenos is we weren't stuck with cookie cutter catering, we could do an open bar that didn't cost an arm and a leg and we didn't have any set up or tear down. It was all done for us. The guests were so complimentary of the set up and we could not have asked for a better night. We will be using Leann again and again as often as we can come up with a reason to throw a party. Book early..... she is a hidden gem that isn't so secretive anymore.

Yelp
we recently stayed for a wedding party and it was the most amazing set up for all of our families! We did yoga on the lawn, then met for breakfast every morning. And the breakfast was amazing and delicious EVERY single time!! The staff was all so wonderful and helpful. From the front desk to the cook to the wedding planner! Thank you for making Rebecca and Julio's wedding weekend so memorable. We will definitely come back if we are in town again!
