The Peaceful Portuguese Coast Food Lovers Should Visit
"Staying at this boutique hotel in Odeceixe places you right in the middle of the village, where it’s easy to feel like a local while enjoying the convenience of having Näperõn restaurant built into a converted cottage on the property. The “adorable” lodging also offers multiroom stays that work well for families and larger groups, making it both a charming base and a practical hub for exploring the surrounding Vicentina Coast." - Stacey Leasca
Tucked away on a street above the town is this amazing Bed and Breakfast. We had a lovely studio with kitchenette and dining room area, very spacious and clean. This place also had milk pods along with the espresso pods and we enjoyed a cup of coffee on the patio before heading to breakfast. Breakfast was served at the table and included all of what you could want or need. Coffee was good. We did have the room above and right next to the restaurant which was noisy until about 22:30 with some additional humming or vibrations coming from maybe our fridge or the dishwasher below. Unsure, but it was there all night long. Sadly we were too tired after a long bike ride to make it to dinner, but we heard the chef has a Michelin star and „he cooks and you get what he makes“ which sounded exciting to us. Looking back, we should have probably gone! Great place!

Unfortunately we weren't given a room near the main hotel. Ours (no 100) was up the hill past the Tapas restaurant. It was small with the shower next to the bed. No privacy whilst showering. The kettle was placed where we hung up clothes. Because it had been raining heavily there was little space to hang or dry wet clothes. Our walking companions rooms at the hotel were lovely and spacious and had a kitchenette and somewhere to sit. For a group who paid the same price this was disappointing. Also the bins were outside our room which were emptied late on Thurs night. The traffic noise was also and issue.

This place is through the village and up the hill. Our room was a fair way up the hill, past reception. Very well appointed room, with a fridge and a small terrace area, with a table and chairs. Pool is beautiful, as is the breakfast area, with a great view. Breakfast was great, with yoghurt, fresh fruit, eggs, cold meat and cheese, bread and croissants, fresh juice and coffee, served to you at the table.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casas do Moinho. Joana, who welcomed us upon arrival was very kind and gave us all the information we needed. We had a fabulous dinner at Naperon and enjoyed a sunny day by the pool. Everything was exceptional.

We stayed two night at Casas Do Moinho at the end of our Fisherman's Trail hike, and just loved it. The room was great - nice, clean and a lot of space. The staff welcomed us in a very nice way and went over and beyond to support us and make us feel comfortable.||The pool area is very nice, and the breakfast was so enjoyable. ||Leaving the hotel, we felt we so much want to come back!

This is a beautiful place to stay. We arrived here after a long day of walking along the Fisherman's Trail. It is a climb up to this accommodation but it was very much worth it. We were tired and to arrive into our little place which was a very spacious 2 level room with a full kitchen and lovely living room area. The bed in the loft was so very comfortable. The large rain shower was a welcome treat as well. The breakfast the next morning in the main location was fabulous and set us up for our next day of walking. We only wished that we had more than one night here.

Clever use of multiple spaces, each designed as standalone guest rooms. Ours has a nice outside space and was cool and spacious. The pool looked lovely but seemed a tiny bit decorative as it was pretty much part of the restaurant terrace. The staff were really professional and welcoming and the breakfast was excellent.

My husband and I stayed here while on a 4 day self guided mountain bike trip. When we arrived we looked at the outside of the hotel and were underwhelmed but then we went inside the reception which opened up to an attractive dining space (Naperon) and an infinity pool. Our room was up the street in a typical apartment in a small village. Our room was tiny but very well appointed and very comfortable. We were very pleasantly surprised. Additionally the breakfast was fantastic. Definitely a hidden gem!
