First and foremost the staff were super friendly & helpful. They elevated the entire stay beyond our best expectations. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We especially loved sitting on the balcony in the evening - book that room if you can. Before we stayed there we read about the amazing breakfast - we were not disappointed. If anything it was better than we can describe in a review. Will definitely be staying here next time we are in Santiago and we will be recommending it to our friends. Thank you Catalina, Eduardo & the CasaSur team for a memorable stay on our honeymoon.

We loved CasaSur! This lovely boutique hotel is so much nicer than staying in a big chain hotel. Great and fun neighborhood (Barrio Italia). Very quiet, safe and dead end street. The staff graciously attended to all of our needs and were ready to help at a moments notice. Rooms were spotless, plenty of room, nicely appointed and shower was great. Breakfasts were healthy, plentiful and yummy! Thank you CasaSur for a wonderful stay!

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a 3 week holiday and it was such a fabulous way to finish our travels. CasaSur is a wonderful boutique hotel located on a dead end street so it is nice and quiet. The staff is attentive, very friendly and extremely hospitable. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. The bed is super comfy. One morning we had an early pick up for a hike and the staff prepared us a nice take away breakfast. The 2nd morning we had breakfast at CasaSur and it was fantastic! It is also a close walk to many restaurants for dinner. It is located about 23 km from the airport and took us about 1/2 hour each way. We would highly recommend staying here when in Santiago.

We love this place. After 22 hours of traveling, we arrived in the morning and our room was ready for us! We were greeted by Owner, Catalina, and the friendly staff. As our bags were delivered to our room, we relaxed in the lobby with a cup of coffee. What's not to like?||||CasaSur is sparkling clean, our bed was very comfortable, the linens were silky and rooms were bright and airy.||||We had an early excursion the next day and they agreed to serve us breakfast 15 minutes earlier one morning. It made a big difference as we did not have to rush. The fresh cut fruit, yogurt with granola (both homemade), the mini crepe and the eggs with rolls were all delicious. Certainly a meal not to be missed!||||With the honor bar for a wine or beer, a huge bowl of fresh fruit on the table, and coffee or tea always available, we felt at home.||||The staff was readily available to make suggestions, highlight places to go on the maps or call a taxi for us. ||The service was always personal and friendly.||||The location is ideal for quiet but with sights to see within walking distance. Be sure to check out the street with murals - a right out of the hotel and the first left.||||I highly recommend CasaSur Charming Hotel.

Wow! We had no idea what to expect in Santiago and the drive from the airport through the busy roads did not prepare us for this gem of a place! ||We were welcomed so warmly, it was as if we had been there for years. The two lovely staff on reception spoke good English and settled us into our room nice and quickly. ||The whole hotel is bright, airy and made for relaxing. It was a nice touch to see our names on the blackboard in reception and on the room sign as well, rather than just a number.||We were given great tips and advice about the local area and further afield. The team there adds their own personal notes and recommendations to the local maps so that they can make sure their advice is up to date and their recommendation of Verde Sason for dinner was worth five out of five stars alone!||The rooms are clean and the beds were so comfy and huge, we could happily get lost in them.||Breakfasts were tasty and filling with simple but great choices and a good selection to enjoy.||It is only a few minutes to the main area of Barrio Italia or the metro station and being in a quiet side street, there was no traffic to disturb the morning lie-in.||With just the six rooms and such brilliant service, this has to be the best place to stay in Santiago.

Absolutely love this small hotel. While in Chile, we stayed in 6 great hotels & CasaSur was our favorite. It’s beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast is delicious and the staff goes above and beyond. Barrio Italia is interesting and well located near all Santiago has to offer.

We stayed here for two nights, and couldn't have been more pleased. This is a small hotel (5 rooms?) that is very much like a cozy B&B. It was fresh and clean and absolutely spotless. The young staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had to be out the door one morning at 6 a.m.; they had an excellent breakfast all prepared for us. They recommended a delightful local restaurant for us one night. Loved our experience there!|

I was prompted to stay here after reading the reviews and it didn't disappoint. The staff there is INCREDIBLY welcoming and helpful and it feels like visiting old friends. The common areas and rooms are spotless and bright. The breakfast was GREAT (and I'm not overly enthusiastic about breakfast) and I agree with another review that it probably was the best I've had at a hotel. It is served individually and efficiently and feels again like you're at a friend's house who has just made you breakfast. The location is on a very quiet street that is about three blocks from the main road in the Italia neighborhood which has plenty of restaurants and bars (Badalu has a great shabby chic feel with great service and live music, with second story location that lets a nice breeze blow through), as well as boutique shopping. The Bellavista has more sights to see within close walking but is also more loud and chaotic. The hotel itself is small and cozy, with the rooms focused around a central staircase, recalling it's former life a likely being a residence. You will hear a little activity in the morning as breakfast gets started but it's not too bad and, again, feels like what you'd hear if you were sleeping at a friend's and they were in the kitchen working on breakfast. The staff is always smiling and helpful, and seem to enjoy being there. They are also very helpful for information as well as arranging tours. I arrived late but they were still able to confirm a tour for me to Casablanca for the next morning. I'd definitely stay there again on a return trip to Santiago! Thanks, CasaSur!
