CasaSur Recoleta | Condé Nast Traveler

"Amid prestigious apartment buildings and museums and art galleries, CasaSur is aimed at those seeking the cachet and convenience of a Recoleta address at an affordable price. The corner of Callao and Quintana ranks among the costliest real estate in the country, and this 35-room hotel projects itself commensurately, with a lobby of lacquered rosewood filled with scented candles and fresh lilies, a fastidiously finished interior with acoustic-layered wall fabrics that dampen ambient sound, and staff who exude formality and discretion. Room decor favors traditional elegance over experiment, with gold silk and black velvet softening robust furniture and lapacho-wood flooring. Yet the building itself is almost anorexic in its proportions, with 13 floors soaring over a lot barely 30 feet wide. As a result, the standard rooms feel somewhat cramped, and steam from the spa’s super-heated plunge pool billows directly into the massage parlor. Head to Bengal, where you can sample Indian and Mediterranean food."

Wow, what a wonderful hotel!!! The front desk and all staff were incredible. The hotel was clean, room was spacious and comfortable. The housekeeping was amazing . The breakfast was delicious, fresh eggs, bacon, croissants, breads, fresh fruit, yogurt.... etc. |staying at the hotel felt more like a home. The front desk gave great recommendations for activities, restaurants, salons . They arranged our transfer to the airport. We came for a wedding in BA and this location was golden. ||It's a must stay and great value ⭐️.

This is an excellent choice for a great quality hotel at a perfect location to visit Buenos Aires. The rooms are spacious, clean and with all the amenities you need when traveling. Their breakfast is good and the SPA is modest, but convenient if you find time to enjoy it.|Having said all that, the main reason for Casasur Recoleta to be our favorite hotel on South America is their staff. They all are courteous, friendly, efficient, effective, knowledgeable and always willing to accommodate every need we had and help without excitation. And,while all of them without exception were excellent, Diego at the reception desk deserves a special mention. He truly went out of his way every time we needed anything and he always exceeded our expectations. When we go back to Buenos Aires we know where we are going to stay.

The staff were friendly and willing to help however they could. The room was big, and it had 3 universal outlets plus a couple of non universal outlets. The hairdryer had attachments was a nice touch, and they provide robes. There is a mini fridge but it's pretty full with mini bar items. You can fit a bottle of water in there though. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the breakfast offerings were numerous. There's construction across the street, which is the direction that the balconies face, and it is loud. I heard it as early as 7:30am. There's a bodega two buildings away, and there's a grocery store (Disco) just around the corner. There are also several restaurants within walking distance.

We start here our journey in Argentina before leaving to Patagonia and could not had been better. It is a very cozy hotel with large rooms and very good breakfast. Also the location is good for quick walking around and good restaurants are also very close in this area. If you need to move far from here in the city like to the beautiful "Palermo" area, no worries the taxi are not expensive and you can move quickly all around the city. It is really a good option if you stay in BuenosAires for some days.

Great location, but most of all great staff. Particularly, Mayra, which I believe how it is spelled. They are extremely helpful with making sure you have a good experience in their city. We were given really good restaurant recommendations, and local sites. And also explanations of cultural things associated with Argentina. Highly recommend the Casasur Ricoleya

Very nice hotel in a good location to visit the city. Staff was nice and welcoming. Room was a bit noisy but apart from that we slept pretty well since there wasn’t much traffic on the road in front and breakfast was ok/good (good quality but not a lot of variety). I would come back and I would recommend it.

The staff was very accommodating. They were able to check me in early after an overnight flight. They also gave me a late checkout!||The hotel is located in Recolate which is very central. Lots of great restaurants and sightseeing within walking distance.

Yelp
Exceptional... Art and Design well thought out and enjoyable. Bed - crisp and comfy. Pillows were of 3 styles, so something for everyone. Bathroom - overhead shower with plenty of pressure. Minimal but not severe. Bidet as would be expected. Window - 2nd floor. Both sides can open. Could be a bit loud for some but I loved it. Black out curtains were needs for the bright street light. A/C worked well and was quiet. I choose to turn it off and open the windows in the morning. Service - on point and all were fluent in English. Wi-Fi - free. Great in the room. Bit difficult in the dining area. Free Breakfast with a great selection- eggs (scrambled, poached, omelette or soft/ hard boiled. A wide variety of breads, fruit, ham, prosciutto, cheese, and a sweet, small oatmeal that was topped with a perfect cherry. Also poached pears that reminded me that I need more of them in my life. Musculi and toppings. Café with leche was perfect (x3 !!) Will review the Spa separately.

Yelp
After hearing how "unsafe" (totally incorrect) BA was, we decided to stay in the most expensive area presuming it would be safest. That's our logic. We found this hotel using Trip Advisor. Good reviews there. One of the least expensive in this upscale area. Tiny street frontage but quite nice inside. Desk Staffed 24 hrs by helpful, English speaking employees. Breakfast included, continental buffet with served eggs of choice. Fully stocked, though tiny, bar which, unfortunately, closes at 10:00. We arrived after 10:00 and they opened up to give us a free welcome glass of Malbec. Mini bar in room. Restaurant looked good with good menu but we didn't have time to try it. brand new bathroom, ultra modern fixtures. Only negative was room size. Tiny, to say the least. However, we did get the least expensive room rate. We loved out stay. One incredible benefit was a free, three hour van tour of the city on Sunday afternoon. That wasn't even in the write-up on the hotel. They emailed us with details. BOOK IT IN ADVANCE as it fills up. Would love to go back
