A small boutique style hotel set in beautifully maintained gardens. A real find. Reception staff were very informative and helpful. Room was comfortable and had a private terrace. The hotel also has its own restaurant which we booked twice during our stay. The quality of the food was to a very high fine dining standard. The chefs can certainly produce high quality imaginative meals that, to me, should surely deserve an entry into the Michelin guide, if not a Michelin star. A real delight to dine here. Superb service from the waiting staff. The restaurant tables are set in the garden and has a wonderful ambience. We will be back for sure.

Charming hotel, that was incredible value for money, clean spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. The grounds are beautiful and we found it so peaceful and calming.|The staff members were all lovely, particularly Julia, who was very helpful!|We couldn't believe that this hotel only has an official 2 star rating so don't be put off by this.|Would recommend a car or bike but it's so easy to get around Formentera

Such a cute hotel! Stayed here for four days. The restaurant is also really good, lovely ambiance. Patricia is my favorite staff member, she is so energetic and thoughtful. She took excellent care of us during our trip. Angel is also awesome, thank you both!

Our first visit to Formentera with two 20 year olds. This is a beautiful hotel, in a stunning and peaceful location. The grounds are stunning. The beach is a 7 minute walk through a pine forest and it’s a rugged, unspoilt , sandy beach. The Pelayo chiringuito overlooks the beach with wonderful views out to sea. Lunch and dinner here are great, simple but tasty Spanish dishes. The Mighorn beach is very long and dotted with small bars and restaurants, the further East you go the more built up it becomes . Nothing is more than a 10-15 minute drive from Casbah so feel free to explore during the day. Es Arenals beach is the nicest, though busy and Cala Saona is very pretty but even busier. Returning to Casbah at the end of the day is like coming back to a sanctuary of peace and tranquility. The pool is great. Dining here is an experience…the food is sublime. Mustn’t forget the breakfasts, they’re great too.

Lovely place. Beautiful gardens, stylish, well laid out to provide intimacy, clean rooms, helpful service. Short walk to the beach, but its not far to drive anywhere on Formenterra. It was a 10-15 min drve from the port. Our room had plenty of space, and the beautiful gardens are lovely to walk through or just sit. We didn't eat at the restaurant but apparently its very good. Breakfast was good, and the coffee was amazing. Will definitely come back (reception told me the best prices are if you book direct). Nice pool to relax if you're not an explorer, or or a dip after a day on the beach. We chose to drive to one of the nicest beaches every day (Pacha) which was recommended by reception, which has ample public beach space, clean white sand, beautful swimming - or you can hire umbrellas and deck chairs (€10 each, so €30/per couple). Hotel for us was perfect, as was the whole Formenterra experience.

This is a review for the restaurant. The setup is spectacular, in a lush garden nicely lit. The dishes include local products and have a rich combination of flavors and textures. I tried the bacalao and it was delicious. The desserts are also very creative and tasty. Wide selection of wines (a sommelier can assist you). The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed with many customers and could be better coordinated. Overall, a very good restaurant in Formentera.

Charming boutique hotel in a lovely location. Accommodation is in adobe-style bungalows and duplexes around landscaped garden of palm trees, cacti etc. Rooms are simple, cool and shady with small outside patios.||There is a central pool area ( salt water, unheated) with plenty of outside seating, sunloungers etc. We went in May when it was very quite.||The restaurant is good, but quite expensive. The best part for me was the short walk down to the beach on dusty tracks through scented thyme and rosemary bushes . The beach is partly naturist (as is most of Formentera) and nearby there is a charming beach bar. Have the lobster stew there! Amazing. ||One thing that could be improved - ensure guests have water in their rooms. |

I want to start stating that the property itself was magnificent, beautiful, completely renovated and lovely. Everything was very clean and with excellent decoration. However all of these was eclipsed by the bad service the hotel personnel provided. Everybody was very unprofessional and slow, the crew was not coordinated at all, very bad management. The lady at the front desk was not very nice, she was not very servicial and had a weird attitude towards guests and then there where times when even no one was paying attention to the front desk, also they tried to add things to our account that we never ordered, this was very unpleasant. The restaurant was also very charming but the same issue with service, super slow and pricey. As an anecdote, I ordered a gin and tonic before dinner and after 45 minutes I was still waiting for it… of course I had to cancel. Also first day we went there for dinner (we were staying at the hotel and it was convenient) we were waiting for the main dishes more than an hour, they brought them at midnight finally when we were not even hungry anymore, a disaster. Also please be aware this hotel is quite far from the island main places and beaches so transportation from there will be quite expensive and painful.
