Great location, clean and spacious rooms, helpful and friendly staff and lovely included breakfast. The free minibar is a nice touch. We stayed at the medium family room which gave all 4 of us a some privacy. The view from the small balcony was wonderful. Would definitely recommend it to friends!

It was a very good stay. We flew in early and needed to check in early. That was arranged in advance for a reasonable fee. The hotel is located just ten minutes' easy walk from the train station. Our rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. One of the rooms faced the street so it was a little bit noisy when the windows were opened. The second room faced the internal yard so there were no problems there. Beds were fine, pillow comfortable but it was too hot under winter blankets. We asked about summer blankets but were told they are not available. There were no bathrobes and slippers in the room, but those were provided after we requested them. One of the bathrooms was clean but tiny, so it is not suitable for an overweight person. Another one was clean and spacious. It was very nice having a coffee maker in the room with the generous number of capsules. The mini bar (not alcoholic) was free with water provided every day. On days when we refuse room cleaning service, we were given a free drink voucher. Nice touch. Apples and water with lime were always available in the lobby. We had breakfast once and decided it was not worth the money paid. Reception desk staff was very attentive and pleasant to deal with. Please be aware that this hotel occupies an old building therefore rooms in the same category may look different. I would not recommend an older person getting a room with a bathtub - it has high surround. One more minor but essential lapse should be mentioned. While making the reservation on the hotel website do not expect to get an e-mail confirmation so you must write down the reservation number to check its status. None of my e-mails to the hotel e-mail address were answered. Maybe the problem was on my end (got filtered by the internet provider). So, you have to call the hotel with any questions. Overall, I like this establishment and can recommend it.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, staff are super friendly and helpful, location was so close to the train station and the town. Our room was beautifully appointed, with the added bonus of water and non alcoholic drinks in the fridge replaced daily for no charge. We highly recommend this hotel!

good vibes! great restaurant! lovely rooms. close to the action but also a bit out of the way. service was spotty - especially breakfast time - they need a new front person who is more friendly. just more upbeat there and at reception. all so serious, except for the Spanish restaurant who are superb.

This hotel was definitely not worth the money charged. It is very basic accommodations. It is rated a 4 star and should be a 2 or 3. The room was passable, comfortable bed but the room was not overly clean or functional. If you are looking for more higher end accommodations, i would look somewhere else. As well, the hotel is located about a 10 min walk from old town for those who expect to be closer. We appreciated the included water and drinks. Breakfast was ok…nothing special to say about it.

Cascade Boutique Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. We had a family room with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms and it was spacious, comfortable and clean. Everyone in the hotel is friendly and helpful, especially Rea on the front desk. |The breakfast in the dining room offered a variety of food and Yulia was especially lovely. The service from all was fantastic.|The meal at the Bolero restaurant was delicious as well.|The location of the hotel is excellent, right across from the train station and walking distance to the old town.

Cascada Hotel was a great stay for us to explore Luzern and Switzerland. The rooms were cozy, big enough for the 3 of us, and provided everything we needed. The security was good, requiring hotel cards for lift access. They were also advanced in using web access for lift and room access, and the web app was decently well built and secure. The service by the caretaker was perfect, and the free mini bar drinks were nice and refilled daily. They also had drinks and fruits at the lobby, umbrellas for the wet weather and bicycles for use around the city. Check in and out was simple and quick as well. The hotel was well located near the Luzern Rail Station, convenient for travelers who are using the Swiss railway frequently. Staff was helpful in providing us with help for nearby laundry services and most were friendly. We also had dinner at the Bolero restaurant at the first floor. Food was great and the service was amazing. We had a courtly and pleasant middle-aged Italian man (missed his name, but he said he was from Milan) who served us well and made us feel nice and welcome. Check-in was slightly unpleasant as the check-in form had our country of origin assumed from an Asian country (which I shall not specify). Unsure why the country was printed in for us, we did not state it during the booking of the hotel, and they could have left it empty for us to fill, we were assumed to be from a particular Asian country just because we were Asians. It was the first case of something like this as well after 2 weeks in Europe. Other than the unfortunate (perceived) racism right at the start of the start of the stay, everything else would've been perfect.

Great location, staff, Tapas Bar, room, proximity to station and old town. We only stayed one night but our stay was impeccable and our room was perfect. Many smart touches and comfortable room. Refrigerator was stocked with free soft drinks and a Nespresso coffee maker that enhanced the visit.
