CASCADA Boutique Hotel

Really lovely stay overall. The front desk staff were genuinely super pleasant and helpful, and the hotel has a great boutique feel. Our room was tiny and the shower was even tinier for the price (but honestly… Swiss prices are spicy 😅). What made up for it was the cute little balcony with a mountain view — waking up to that felt like a win. Great base for Luzern, especially if you’re out exploring all day and just want a clean, comfortable place with friendly service.

After staying in a Crowne Plaza and 2 Hilton hotels during our winter European holiday, we were unsure about whether we would enjoy the boutique Cascada Hotel. We loved it!||We stayed in a medium family room which was smaller than all the rooms we stayed in during this holiday but it had everything we needed. ||The beds were the most comfortable of our holiday so far. The heating was great. The bathrooms were functional with good water pressure and hot water (important during the -8 temperatures!).||Buffet breakfast was the best we’ve had on this holiday. Yullia was lovely, always smiling and tried hard to communicate with us somewhere between German and English. Even when we couldn’t find the words she was committed to making sure we were happy during breakfast. ||We had dinner at the Bolero restaurant and Elisabete was lovely as well. She went above and beyond in providing great service. The food was also delicious. ||The remainder of the staff were efficient but didn’t provide any warmth. For those who have been to Europe a few times, you’ll know that they don’t mean to be rude and just aren’t as forward as Australians and Americans. ||The location was great, less than 10 minute walk to the train station and lovely walk to the old town. ||On our last morning the cloud lifted and we realised that our children had a view of a beautiful mountain from their balcony as well.||We would happily stay here again and will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lucerne.

We stayed 3 nights in a family room for 4. The room is spacious enough to put all our 5 luggages. The bed is comfy and there is a mini bar which offer free drinks. The location is ideal and walking distance about 10mins to the main train station. The buffet breakfast spread is also good.

Our two night stay at Cascada was delightful from the moment we entered the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. We requested a bigger room and were so pleased when it was granted and the upgraded price was very reasonable. The room was so pretty and well set out. Opening the curtains in the morning to see the surrounds and snow felt like we were in a Christmas movie. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were superb so much variety and again friendly staff. Big highlight was the omelette in the morning, definitely the best we’ve eaten! Finally upon departure the kind and knowledgeable Loulou, on reception helped us navigate our many trains to our next destination. I would highly recommend this magical place in Lucerne.

We had a wonderful stay at Cascada last week! I mentioned in my booking that we were coming through Lucerne as part of my wife's 40th birthday trip. Upon arrival they had a gift waiting for her, such a nice touch! The hotel is great, location is perfect for walking to pretty much anything. We had breakfast at the hotel in the morning and it was excellent. ||The staff was all very helpful with questions we had about our stay and the surrounding area. But Elena at the front desk went above and beyond to help us! She was amazing and made the stay even better!!

This was our favorite hotel during our 7 day Switzlerland Trip. Very clean, modern, and fun. we liked the theme of the rooms being a different waterfall. The staff was so friendly as well, very helpful, made us reservations when our phone wouldn't work, etc. Good locationt o lots of highlights. Definitely reccommend.

Wonderful generous hotel which is a convenient location to train and city. It was a beautiful room with comfortable bed. Complimentary beer and soft drink in the fridge, an espresso coffee machine and Free water refills in lobby and a big basket of apples for guests. We had breakfast in the restaurant downstairs ( and a great dinner) the breakfast was amongst the best ones we have had in 5 weeks of travel - hands down the best coffee! A young lively and helpful staff. Would highly recommend

I had a great stay at Cascada Hotel Luzern during a recent business trip while commuting to Rotkreuz. The location is excellent—very close to the train station, which made daily travel incredibly convenient, and just a short, pleasant walk into central Luzern. The room was nicely designed, clean, and comfortable. While it was on the smaller side, it was well laid out and perfectly suitable for a business stay. The complimentary minibar was a very welcome touch and much appreciated after long workdays. The only small thing missing in the room was an iron, but aside from that, everything met or exceeded expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Cascada Hotel Luzern for both business and leisure travelers.
