"Gozalandia Waterfalls As with many other natural wonders in Puerto Rico , there isn't a clearly defined marker. Normally, to find Gozalandia, you would first have to visit it with a local, because getting directions there can be complicated. Lately, thereis talk of turning the waterfalls into an ecoresort). Parking is cheap, but get there early to avoid crowds. There are several muddy paths leading to two beautiful waterfalls. I recommend going on weekdays in the morning. Forget going on weekends, as it will be way too crowded to enjoy it peacefully. If you go during the wet season (August to October), be prepared to just go barefoot. Shoes lose grip, you slide everywhere, and you eventually take them off anyways. I always start by hiking to the top waterfall first, as this one usually has fewer people around it. There's a rope swing for the adventurous and a nice cool water pool for the rest of us. This is definitely a beautiful place to relax in nature."

What an amazing, day enjoying the wooded areas, trails and waterfalls. We spent 2-3 hours here just having a great time. After we were done we had drinks and some food in the bar/restaurant. A suggestion would be to bring a waterproof camera as you can spend hours in the waterfall areas.

The waterfalls at Gozalandia are beautiful and relaxing. There’s a parking lot with plenty of room at $10 a car, and a restaurant and bar at the entrance to the path to the waterfalls. There’s staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the kitchen makes some delicious dishes. Be careful on the cement pathway if its wet out, and please leave your speakers at home. This is a great spot to spend a few hours, especially if it hasn’t rained in the past 24 hours.

I loved it!!! Super fun. We went to the 2 big waterfalls and the water was super cool and refreshing. The first waterfall was down a flight of steep stairs. The other was a 10 min walk to get to. It was a little tricky to get to the water (have to climb over/around some rocks), so be careful. We saw someone slip when trying to get down.

Google
Stunning Waterfalls with a natural swimming pool at base. Short but steep step walk down. 2 overlook shelters provide views without having to go down the steep steps. The on-site restaurant had tasty drinks and food, we recommend! Restrooms on site were a plus too! $10 to park when you arrive per car. Road to get there is narrow and steep in several places, just be prepared for it. Beautiful tropical jungle backdrop and easy viewing access were bonus points as well. We recommend this attraction to anyone and we would definitely return here in the future!

Start with the falls on the right path. It is the smaller of the 2. The one on the left has a longer hike but is worth it. More falls and a bigger area to relax. Both were absolutely refreshing and just great places to sit, relax and enjoy the beauty. We came from a hotel in northwest Puerto Rico and the drive was a little nerve racking through the narrow roads being tailgate by the locals and it rained for a bit. Well worth it.

Google
Gozalandia was a last a minute idea I had after leaving boat crash beach, glad the family just goes along with my crazy ideas. It's absolutely worth it!! The drive was labeled once you get close with signs and arrows. Parking was cash only $10. There was restrooms available to us right by parking lot and a place to order drinks. We arrived 5pm and still had a great time before dark! It was a perfect and stunning spot to chase waterfalls and a perfect get away from the beach for a little bit to enjoy some nature! The first waterfall to the RIGHT when the road splits 5 min hike descending diwn stairs toward the fall. A rope was available to the right of the waterfall, allowing us to climb slightly higher and enjoy a natural slide and a place to jump from. Ware water shoes or shoes grip. Barefoot might be slippery when climbing up. The second waterfall to the RIGHT where the road splits from there about a 10-15 minute walk and this little tuck away gem was impressive. It features a swinging rope, so you can act like Tarzan and feel like a kid again and swing and let go into the waterfall pond. You can easily spend 3 to 4 hours here with family! It was a 45 min drive from our air bnb in Rincon. It was a 50 min ride from crash boat beach, and we loved going later on in the day as everyone else was leaving we had it pretry much to ourselves for the most part.

Google
So much fun!! A beautiful drive up and worth every minute. We spent the entire day swimming, eating, drinking and hanging out with whoever was there. There’s two waterfalls, one at the very top with a rope you can swing off of jump into the water and one closer the the entrance that you walk down and it’s more room to relax and chill. Definitely recommend coming here, parking is $10 cash or pay at the restaurant.

Google
Beautiful place. We spent the whole day here. 2 waterfalls paved pathways and stairs. Ten dollars to park all day. Water is clear and cool. Good resturant and bar on premises.

Yelp
Definitely one of the best kept secrets Puerto Rico has to offer. Although it doesn't seem like a secret anymore. Happiness, joy and heaven all in one place? It's here. Ample parking, outdoor restaurant and bar and amazing waterfalls and lagoon in the middle of nature. Off the beaten path but definitely worth the trip. I hope this gem stays this good forever. Let's keep one of nature's treasures pristine and in it's original form. If you visit don't litter and don't ruin the overall ambiance. Great relaxed chill vibe.

Yelp
Visited this waterfall during a weekday on Tuesday, 04/25/2023 around 3:30pm, which I highly recommend because it wasn't crowded at all. It really was awesome getting to relax and swim w/ the fishes while taking in the beautiful & calming Gozalandia Waterfall. Since "sharing is caring" here are a few FYIs & Helpful Tips: -Driving to Gozalandia was an adventure in itself because some of the roads were very narrow..you'll drive through Guajataca Forest for some of it & WOW! Mother Nature is really something special! -parking: you will have to pay to park ($10 cash parking fee on 04/25/2023) & there is a parking attendant on-site so your vehicle will be safe. The parking lot is pretty big since it's an open field, surrounded by trees all around. -Waterfalls: Other reviews mentioned there being 2 waterfalls but we only visited the lower one because it was sooooo pretty & big! There were also a couple of ropes located on the sides that you could use to climb up the rocks & into the waterfall itself to then jump off from. Thanks but no thanks! I was a-okay w/ living vicariously through those who were brave enough to take that leap of faith & me cheering them on safely at the bottom! ;) -Restaurant & Bathrooms: There's a restaurant on-site before you head towards the path to go down to the waterfalls, that you can stop and have a drink and a bite to eat at before or after your waterfall experience. The restaurant had a very casual & relaxed vibe w/ the bar located outside & all the tables outside as well, under a covered deck. We did eat there during our visit & ordered mojitos (my favorite because they also make me feel a little bit prettier after I've finished drinking one ;) & the empanadas, both were very delicious! The prices were reasonable & all our food was made fresh & brought out hot. The restrooms were also located outside so anyone coming to the waterfalls could use them, if needed. There's also a giant "Gozalandia" chair that you can strike a pose on. -Stairs: there are wooden stairs w/ a slight incline that you will have to use to get to the waterfalls (go slow/steady & you'll be fine) To sum it up, I definitely would recommend that you add a visit to Gozalandia Waterfalls to your itinerary BUT only if you visit during a non peak time so you can fully enjoy your experience. Till next time, Rebecca -

Yelp
Beautiful spot! Short hike to the falls. Restaurant on premises near the restrooms. $10 cash-only parking fee. FYI - once you're there you won't get much signal so it might take some time before you can get your gps/map running on your phones before leaving. Amazing view upon arrival at the falls. Please be aware of the weather in and around the area. This is a river that runs through multiple towns and if it's raining there a sudden, rapid rush of water will hit the falls, and people have passed due to this. Please, please, please be aware!! Listen to locals and pick up after yourself.

Yelp
I actually found this place on Instagram. I saved the best place for last. It was a far drive from San Juan but it was worth it. Min fee to enter. Employees were all very nice. We got there about an hour before they closed. We went to Cueva del Indio first. I definitely wished I had more time here to explore the second waterfall. I would highly recommend getting a rental car if you're flying in and getting away from San Juan.

Mirelis M.

Yelp
Beautiful scenery and great atmosphere! The drive to the waterfall is full of a lot of hills. Make sure that you take a car that can handle steep hills.

Yelp
River activities can be fun, but it's important to know the dangers. I think Gozalandia should give visitors a quick warning about the risk of flash flooding. Heavy rain can cause rivers to rise fast, with no warning, which can be very dangerous. Many tourists don't realize this, and the signs posted aren't enough of a warning. It's important to make sure people are aware of the risk. https://www.nbcboston.com/news/local/active-search-for-mass-man-swept-away-by-current-in-puerto-rico/3365262/?amp=1 https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6805237/amp/MSU-senior-24-dies-Spring-Break-trip-Puerto-Rico-jumping-waterfall.html https://wapa.tv/noticias/locales/siete-personas-quedan-atrapadas-tras-la-crecida-de-un-r-o-en-gozalandia/article_dbdf8ec4-7dd7-11ef-a609-8bd68a163ab1.html https://www.elnuevodia.com/noticias/seguridad/notas/reanudan-la-busqueda-de-un-turista-arrastrado-por-la-corriente-en-gozalandia/ https://wapa.tv/noticias/locales/persona-es-arrastrada-por-la-creciente-en-cascada-gozalandia/article_a03cffe0-0d7b-11ef-8f93-57cf08ce1be6.html

Yelp
Beautiful falls. We hiked up to the second falls and had a swim. We had it to ourselves for a while. The first falls was more crowded. Interesting drive up to the location. We didn't stay for food.

Yelp
Great place to refresh... Beautiful waterfalls.. Great food, You meet people from all over the world. Get ready for the steep stairs... $10.00 per car... Not bad.

Yelp
Beautiful place to spend some quality time with the family or some friends! Perfect for to take pictures or videos by the water fall or the river. They also have a place where they sale food and drinks. But you can bring your own food, snacks, drinks. If you decide to burn your own food, please make sure you bring also you own trash bags. They do charge $10.00 for parking. Make sure you keep eye on your children if they don't know how to swim. I recommend to wear water shoes it will make if easier to walk.
google avatar

Katherine L.

Yelp
This place is a gem! Pay for parking (cash only) and enjoy this beautiful waterfall. It gets crowded on weekends, please always check the weather as the rain effects the levels of the river and water. The hike down isn't so bad but there are stairs to the main waterfall and a long walk up a dirt path to the 2nd waterfall. It's recommended you wear sneakers, water shoes, or crocs. My son usually wears socks to move around on the rocks as the provide good grip. If you're unsure about jumping please ask a local! You can also slide down next to the rope but it's bumpy on the booty lol, make sure to tilt back a bit but not all the way.

Yelp
Two beautiful waterfalls are here, on property is owned by a family that runs a little food-and-drinks place on site called Sha's. It's a lot of twisting, winding roads to get there, and the sign can be confusing -- it says "SHA'S" in much bigger font than "Gozalandia" -- but it's really pretty. A lot of people seemed to swim here (we only hiked), with booze they either bought at Sha's or smuggled in. But best to be sober if you're going to swim; there are some slippery rocks and it can be dangerous if you don't have your wits about you. The first waterfall is huge and scenic. The second is smaller and it's about 10 minutes' trekking down a paved (non-ADA accessible) path, but it pours over a really cavernous limestone lip that must be seen to be believed. Also, with or without management's knowledge, there's diving and rope-swinging that takes place at the second set of falls. Parking is now $10 a car, not $5 as many reviews say. The snacks and drinks at Sha's are also reasonably priced, but I only snacked, as I was the driver. They have a poster for a movie that was filmed here.

Angel C.

Yelp
The most beautiful waterfalls. Short hikes to the falls but lots of stairs to get to fall 1 for anyone that has issues with stairs. Kids had a blast. Go early to avoid crowds.

Yelp
One of the most beautiful places we've ever seen. Is definitely worth visiting. We decided to go there after a quick search for waterfalls in Puerto Rico and we're so glad we did. Just getting there from the town of San Sebastian is a lot fun, driving up the mountain and this curvy and colorful road just make our day. Once we got there, there's a $$5 parking fee, totally worth it for what you are about to see. There's a restaurant with a full bar next to a pond where you can feed the turtles. The first Waterfall is absolutely amazing, just listening to the water going down the fall is mesmerizing. You can swin by the waterfalls just be careful getting there, it gets very slippery. Perfect place to enjoy the day with family, take some breathtaking pictures and nature at its best. 5 to 10 minutes walk is the next waterfall a little smaller but with an underwater cave and a rope swing. If you are in Puerto Rico definitely take the time to visit Gozalandia.

Yelp
Fun experience for the kids and the falls themselves were beautiful. Our party ranged in age from 9 to 48. Kids will want to jump off rocks at both the lower and the upper falls - this was a little frightening for the parents. The park didn't necessarily have employees at the falls, but there were self-appointed "helpers" who would instruct would be rock climbers and cliff divers about how to jump without getting hurt. These helpers did expect to be compensated with tips for their services. Area was clean, there were functioning bathrooms, and a restaurant with good food and drinks.
google avatar

Yelp
This place has it all! A short hike to see 2 waterfalls with a swimming hole, private parking, and a restaurant that has the most amazing mojitos and mofongos!! This place is also a good place to bring kids along as the walk /hike has a cement albeit narrow pathway. You can't beat the views and the fresh water!

Yelp
Super awesome charco experience! This was one of the highlights of our visit to this area of the island. While it's a little treacherous to drive here yourself on the windy, rural roads, it's definitely not worth spending a ton of $ to take a bus tour here if you have access to a car, preferably an SUV. You pay $5 to park in a small lot. The parking lot attendant was super nice and provided directions to the two charcos. It's very easy to find the charcos and the paths are well outlined and maintained. It can be a little tricky getting down into the water though, so I do recommend some water shoes. Kids and anyone with mobility issues might need some help negotiating some of the paths down. However, compared to the Charco Azul in Vega Baja, this place was so much better situated and infinitely easier to navigate with clear paths and trails. There's also a chill bar set up between the parking lot and the charcos so you can relax with a beer and some appetizers after swimming. They even grow their own pineapples in the bar area! There are some small bathrooms where you can change, but they are not particularly spacious or well lit. We had an amazing day here for about $25: $5 to park and $20 for beers and appetizers. It's a little off the beaten path, but definitely worth a trip. The photos speak for themselves. My only other word of caution was to exercise some situational awareness: there was a shady looking older, single man lurking around the first charo, eye-ing young girls in their swimwear. I don't think anything untoward happened, but just be aware if you're coming here with young females and keep your guard up.

Yelp
I love this place! A little tricky to get to but totally worth it! Parking is $5 then you can hike to the waterfalls. There are 2 - the first one is bigger than the second. The second is cool because it has a Tarzan rope you can swing off of and jump into the water. I prefer this over the beach because there's some shade and the water is fresh and natural! Not salty at all! We took great pictures, I jumped off of the rock at the first waterfall although it can be a little dangerous. Nature is beautiful! We also had the plantain chips with sour cream, cheese, etc at the little restaurant/bar since it started to rain. So good! Wish they had these in NY! Anyone staying on the west coast should visit Gozonlandia!

Kimberly L.

Yelp
Definitely a must if you are in Puerto Rico (especially if you didn't make a reservation for el yunque) 2 waterfalls here. To get to the first waterfall you go down quite a few steps but worth it, when I went this one had more water coming down than the second one it was beautiful jumped off the cliff it was nice. The second waterfall is about a 10 minute walk which is nice you can swim off a rope. Beautiful spot I went later in the day and the place was empty which was nice. And drinks and food was great. Definitely recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best waterfalls in the area. I would suggest coming on a sunny day after it rained because the water is more full. Easy to find on gps! They charge $5 for parking. We came on a week day at 9am and there was nobody there but I'm sure on the weekends it gets really packed. They have 2 water falls. Upper and lower. It takes about 7-10 min from the parking lot to get to the upper. The upper is the one that has the rope to jump off. To get to the upper it's a concrete road. The lower takes about 2-5 min and it has stair you have to get down to. The lower does get slippery so just be careful. My favorite was the lower. They have bathrooms and food area with a bar but they open at 11am. All the staff here were very friendly and made our experience that much better!
google avatar

Andres A.

Yelp
What an amazing place! We had to travel through some winding roads but it was so well worth the trip. Once you get to the facility they have a restaurant/bar area where you can get a bite to eat as well some adult beverages. To get to the waterfalls you have to take quite a hike but trust me you will not regret it. The waterfall is so amazing, a true gift of nature. You should be careful because it can be a bit slippery on the rocks but the water is so refreshing you can even see the fish swimming right by you. You can almost reach down and grab them. You should be aware there is no lifeguard on duty and toward the middle of the waterfall it drops to about 20 ft. So don't let your little one get to far away and if you can't swim then definitely stay close to the edges. For the adventurous ones you can climb the rocks and jump in. It seemed pretty safe but I did not try it.
google avatar

Yelp
It was open during the power outage after the big earthquake! Sooooo much fun and an easy walk to the waterfall! Take walking shoes you have to climb a tiiiiny bit. The food and piña coladas were AMAZING

Yelp
Heard about this place from different "things to do" lists and it sounded interesting. The drive there was a little challenging as the roads up the hills were steep & narrow so driving slowly and carefully is a must. We were in 2 rental cars - an suv with all wheel drive option and a sedan without that option - both cars made the trip easily. The parking was $10, I had read elsewhere that it was $5 so they must have updated prices recently. There is a bar/restaurant right off the parking lot which is nice for pre or post excursion. The trek to the waterfall wasn't too long but it was steep going down stairs - definitely not made for anyone with instability or inability to do stairs. The waterfall was stunning, you can walk right up to the pond that it created and then jump right in for a good swim. Some people were climbing the falls and jumping from halfway up - that looked more adventurous than I would like so I stayed in the pond and swam. Half our party went to a second waterfall that was just as beautiful and had less people - again the walk there & back was the hard part. Still manageable tho

Yelp
I searched many websites for a natural beauty that's family friendly and easy to get to. I found some listed in Utuado but warnings for flash floods kept us away since there were chances of rain during our stay. My husband found Gozalandia through Instagram hashtags! What a gem. It was quite a drive from San Juan but well worth it and very scenic. The town through the last hour drive on the narrow, winding road is so full of charming surprises. Lots of foliage and then here and there were homes in fun colors and architectural styles. The place is easily found with GPS. We typed Gozalandia Qaterfall in Google maps and it took us to the parking lot. $5 to park all day. IF YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED HIKER LOOKING FOR AN ADVENTURE, THIS IS NOT THE ONE FOR YOU. It is only a short, 3-4 minute walk to some sterp steps on the left leading down to the swimming hole and large waterfall. Here the water is so clear you can see plenty of fish swimming. People , including kids, were jumping from rocks. I tried it once and it was so exhilarating. About 5 minutes or so to the right is a smaller, secondary fall with a swimming hole. The water there is less clear and the area around is more rocky. Though there is a rope that people swing on to jump in the water which looked fun. Just always watch your step and take your time. There is a lot of algae on the rocks so they're very slippery. Make sure your first step is planted solid before taking the next step. My husband fell a few times. He even slid down the rocks on his bum during his first attempt at jumping. Watch the people before you and pay attention to the paths they take.
google avatar

Linda A.

Yelp
The absolute most beautiful waterfall I have ever seen in my life. Please keep in mind the steps to get down to the water fall are extremely steep and slippery. I was VERY careful walking down with my kids. The rocks inside the water are so slippery I almost fell. It is 100000% worth the trip just be very careful when walking down the steps. Parking is $5 for the entire day. They have a restaurant onsite and a restroom you can use (it opens at 10AM). I suggest coming a little later in the day that way the water is a little bit warm. Also bring some goggles! You can see some really cool fish in the water.

Yelp
What an exceptional experience we had coming and enjoying this hidden slice of paradise hidden away in the hills off the beaten path. It took about 2 hours from our condo in Carolina, Puerto Rico and so worth the adventure. After navigating through the many vertical serpentine like narrow roads we gladly paid the $5 parking fee. What a deal for what lies hidden down the path. The pics on the site don't do this waterfalls and trailing swimming pools justice at all. You could easily spend an entire day there. I suggest that you wear your swimming gear there and water socks would be nice too if you have them. We were able to change in the restrooms afterwards which was nice. We packed a lunch and planned to see a couple caves that were also on our return back to Carolina. That was our plan until we walked thru Sha's restaurant that seemed closed when we first arrived and saw the local flavor being served to a birthday party seated there One of our daughters said she was jealous of their lunch and made mention we should eat there instead. I replied "There's no way that's the regular menu. They are probably family and has to be something special for them." Much to my surprise when I asked if we could order the same thing for my family of 5, they were very eager to oblige. In addition to the burgers and dogs I saw on a small bulletin board of offerings, this is on their standard menu. If you don't take the opportunity to find this place your missing out big time.
google avatar

Yelp
Spent a great couple of hours swimming a little, having a few beers, laying around, and watching tourists have to be encouraged to jump. $5 is well worth it.

Yelp
We visited Gozalandia on Christmas and because of this the parking area was closed. That didn't stop us (or anyone else). We all parked along the roadway before the gated entrance for FREE! The gate to the parking area was open about a foot, so we walked through and along the path that leads to the parking area to the waterfalls. It was more walking, but it felt like we were "hiking" there. We got there and had to walk very carefully down the stairs that lead to the first waterfall because it was muddy/wet/slippery. It's such a beautiful sight! It wasn't as busy as I'm sure it normally is, but there was a pretty good group. People were jumping off the waterfall. I'm not sure if this is normally done or if it was because it wasn't very packed. I slipped walking on the rocks even though I was trying to be careful. We just chilled and enjoyed some people watching. Don't forget there's another waterfall! You have to walk about 10 minutes further up the cemented walk way, but it's worth it and it's bigger than the first waterfall. **It was not polluted with trash as other reviewers said, so that was good!!
google avatar

Donna K.

Yelp
Cheap and fun! We only had to pay $5 for parking. What can get better than that?! The 2 falls were pretty crowded. The first fall was more crowded than the second. So we just took photos and went to the second fall. My favorite part was the rope swing on the second fall. It started raining, but I still enjoyed it!
google avatar

Emmanuel T.

Yelp
This was one of the best kept secrets for the locals. We would go almost once a month before they started charging for parking and entry. However, this is a smart move due to the high volume of people traversing the private property, it was a liability. Come here ready to spend the whole day jumping off the "cliff," swinging from the ropes, sliding off the rocks, and exploring the natural underwater caves. The treck down is easier nowadays, but in a rainy day it will be very slippery to go down to the base of the fall. The pool is deep so make sure you know how to swim. Nonetheless the edges around it are safe. The highest jump is about 12-15 metres high with the lowest being at about 2 metres off the water. Make sure that you don't leave a trace. Bring a bag and take back everything you bring into the waterfall. We want a clean puerto rico.
google avatar

Diego M.

Yelp
Very hidden but worth the trip. Bring appropriate shoes as the hike can be a bit slippery. Also recommend gloves. Look at attached pictures for why.
google avatar

Millie C.

Yelp
What a beautiful water fall with a natural pool area several places throughout the park. It's well paved which makes the hike up easier but still a bit steep. The steps to get to the bottom (which provides the best view of the biggest waterfall) has very steep steps. Highly recommend wearing water shoes and for women wearing water shorts. I did and was grateful I could comforted walk aver rocks and sit (and sometimes slide) on rocks without hurting my bottom. Family friendly place. Took my kids who are 6 and 4 and they loved it. Good idea to bring your own backpack with water and snacks and maybe light lunch. Of course, to protect the natural site it is also important to take your trash with you. There is a restaurant there too but I didn't end up eating there. There are two bathrooms near the restaurant. I recommend starting at the top waterfall and working your way down to the bottom one. It makes the exit much easier. Also, good idea to arrive early and leave by early afternoon. It gets too crowded after 1pm. Enjoy!

Yelp
Gozalandia is a beautiful place to go! Of course, you have to take in consideration that it is a WATERFALL! It IS going to be humid and slippery, it is a place created by Nature! And at least I prefer it that way! I don't like when humans go and begin constructing things, damaging all the natural things. So please don't complain about that. And PLEASE!!! TAKE YOUR GARBAGE WITH YOU OR DON'T COME BACK! :) thanks

Yelp
10 STARS! Favorite Place In Puerto Rico! This was by far our favorite spot in all of Puerto Rico! I loved the short hike down to the falls... The Rope swing off the rocks into the water was awesome and makes you just want to do backflips off that rope all day with all the locals who are there. This is truly a hidden gem the you don't want to miss and a great getaway when you are in Aguadilla or anywhere in the north west, or want an hour or so escape from San Juan. DON"T MISS THE AWESOME!

Yelp
My husband and I walked to the falls today. Much easier walk than we had expected - paved most of the way. The water was cool and refreshing. Do be careful on the rocks; they're slippery (of course). Great fun. We felt like kids. $5 for parking. Restaurant and rest rooms on site.

Yelp
One of the best days of my life here. Parking is 5$ I think but thats the only price of the day and totally worth it!! I would skip out on the crazy stairs to the bottom waterfall next time and go straight up to the upper waterfalls, its more spacious, cleaner and easier access. This place is so beaifutil, we stopped at a panaderia on the way got a big loaf of bread with ham and cheese, packed some waters and towels and made a day out of this. Jumping off rocks, ropes, climbing the waterfall, going in the little cave. It was magical and also in the movie "The perfecct getaway" It was filmed here instead of hawaii. I love this place and will be bringing our guests here every time we return!

Yelp
This was our second trip to the waterfalls and we love it every time! The "hike" is short but well worth it. Both times we've run across pleasant people who help you navigate the rocks and the ropes to jump from. The restaurant serves your traditional Puerto Rican dishes and makes the trip worthwhile!

Yelp
Who knew we had that in our backyard all this time!!! Beautiful waterfall and easy to get to the falls. They gave us a guide to get down to the fall. When you come up they have a bar to have a mojito with real fruits inside. They include fruits not found in the states. Plus we had some yummy mofongo. One of shrimp with an awesome sauce and a regular one with masitas.

Yelp
Wow the most beautiful waterfall in Puerto Rico and that I have seen in my life. I had so much fun that day! Heads up parking is $5, you can park in the recreation lot and oh my goodness once you start to go hike it's so worth the visit! Water is clean and make sure to bring some bug repellent spray! The first waterfall is super nearby not much walking at all and the next waterfall to get to at the end will require some hiking but not much. There was a rope where you can swing and play with, which was crazy cool. I loved my experience there and spent about a good three-four hours that day. So so much fun!!

Yelp
As far as Puerto Rican waterfalls goes, this one is well known and for good reason. It now has $5 parking and sidewalk trail to the farthest waterfall. In December the water was cold but we quickly adjusted. Public bathrooms available as well. Very spotty cell phone reception out there and google maps frequently got confused.

Yelp
Dear people of Puerto Rico (and tourists), The world is NOT your trashcan. Puerto Rico is a beautiful island with so much to offer. Gozalandia is great but you are DESTROYING IT!!!!! Take some responsibility for your things and take out all the things that you brought in with you. Better yet if you see any trash try to take it out too. Do not expect others to clean up after you. It is up to EVERYONE (that includes you) to take care of Puerto Rico and our planet. If you continue to trash it then no one will want to go there. Who wants to swim in contaminated water filled with garbage??? If that is you than maybe this place is for you because when I went there was tons of garbage EVERYWHERE!!! It was disgusting. I really hope that this will change as soon as possible!!! Sincerely, Someone who loves Puerto Rico and the environment

Yelp
This was a great day trip. We head up to the waterfalls, paid five dollars for parking, and spend the next two hours frolicking in two delightful waterfalls. We had up earlier in the morning and they weren't a lot of people there. We did not stop at the restaurant.

Yelp
Beautiful. The area surrounding the waterfall has improved and been upgraded. It is now user friendly with parking and stairs with handrails. They've also added garbage cans. It is important that we keep areas like this clean so that we can enjoy them for years to come.

Yelp
Staff are wonderful and the Mango Mojito is excellent!! Great waterfalls and beautiful natural vegetation. Parking is cheap @ $5.00 especially with zero charge to see the falls. Tips: Bring camera for pix...tennis shoes or hiking boots to walk the stairs down to falls...wear bathing suit and HAVE FUN!!

Yelp
My son lives in San Sebastian and knows his way around, so when I went on vacations to Puerto Rico he took us here in what locals call "el rio". It was so much fun! The waterfalls are beautiful! There are 2 waterfalls, the lower waterfall which is more family-ish and the upper waterfall which is more for the daring. We went to the upper one which had a rope swing...which was so much fun! Water is a little cold but very clear. Locals were very friendly and helped everybody swing into the rio. We only paid $5 for parking, no entrance fee or anything, which is great! The only bad thing is that its a very rough trail to get to the waterfalls, especially the upper waterfall...its very dangerous, its extremely muddy and slippery and if you fall you land on boulders and rocks and you will hurt yourself. But I would say if your healthy and strong...go for it! I had a great time! Would definitely go again, and if your traveling to the west of Puerto Rico you must go here! Great times!

Yelp
Nice place for a sunny weekend. Small walk - elderly can also take the stairs/ paved path. Gets pretty crowded during the weekends. Reach at 9am to spend some time before the crowds hit. Saw people jumping from the fall- looked pretty dangerous. Otherwise nice place for a picnic. Pack your food and spend till evening. They have nice little bar and food - food was good and drinks were refreshing. Please clean up after you are done if you accumulate any Trash. Keep the place Clean so others can enjoy too .. And strictly don't break glass bottles... Few people walk Barefoot and it's very dangerous.

Yelp
A gorgeous little hideaway. We went during the rain so the river was flooded. That still didn't stop us... haha.
