Cascada is really cool. I like the layout of everything, and how many different amenities there were. There is an outdoor hot tub, indoor hot tub, two saunas, a steam room, ice bath, ambient pool, mineral pool, main pool, loungers, cool rain shower, and outdoor fire pit. I really liked the shower products and the fact there was hot tea available at all times.
Unfortunately the worst part of the experience is that I really didn't appreciate being filmed in the common areas, which happened a few times. It made me really uncomfortable. I can understand wanting the marketing benefits of letting people film and share the experience, but cascada could do private sessions for influencers or marketing, and no phones in general. There is a no phone rule in the sanctuary which is nice, but it's not enforced well. I saw multiple people with phones down there and staff either didn't care or weren't around to enforce the rules. They also didn't enforce the no talking rule. If you are someone who wants to avoid being randomly filmed in your swimsuit, you basically only have the sanctuary as an option which means you miss out on the fresh air, sunlight, and amenities in the other areas.
Overall it's a really cool place and in theory it would be relaxing and rejuvenating. For me, the best aspects of the experience were really disrupted by the people filming and taking pictures. Allowing phones in a spa meant for relaxing and wellbeing makes it seem like the priorities are about potential exposure and marketing and not focused on wellness. If they were to make a no phone policy or even do certain days of the week that are phone-free, I would definitely be back. I did enjoy the amenities and I thought the facilities were really unique and very nice. The showers in the locker room were not very clean, but everything else was clean and organized.
