First, do not expect waters from a natural springs as the name implies. It is just regular water, and one of the pools in the sanctuary (dark silent area) has magnesium added. The pools are lovely with different temperature options, silent to social spaces, and a variety of relaxing environments.
The parking garage and one of the restaurants are not open yet due to still being under construction. This leaves you with street parking in a crowded neighborhood with narrow streets.
They have a coffee shop with some light grab-and-go items, as well as a full service dinner restaurant, Terra Mae. They have a breakfast and lunch spot, Forbidden, that is listed on their website, but it is not built yet at all. Other than the coffee shop, there is no food on site until Terra Mae opens for dinner. There is water and tea available in the "thermal springs" areas all day, and they open a little beverage bar in the conservatory around 4 or 5. This conservatory bar has non-alcoholic cocktails, kombucha, two white wine options and one beer. I was expecting an experience more like Post in Leavenworth, WA, where there is food available on site all day and bringing your own beverages (alcoholic or non) is perfectly acceptable. At Cascada you are not permitted to bring any outside beverages into the "thermal springs" area.
I expected to be able to eat on site during the day while staying in my suit and robe. With the daytime restaurant not built, that isn't really an option here. I did slip out to the coffee shop in my robe, but it is open to the public along the street and I was awkwardly the only one there in a robe and spa sandals.
Despite use of the service/no service light by our door, the housekeepers did not make it into our room while we were down at the spa most of the day. While I was up in my room for a lunch snack and shower, I turned the service light off, but a maid still entered the room while I was in the shower (super awkward).
The rooms do have full kitchens with a dishwasher, convection microwave and induction cook top. While we had plenty of storage and hanging space in our room, our friends across the hall had a space for hanging, but there's no bar to hang clothes on. It looked unfinished. The curtains are not black out, so if you like to sleep in the dark bring a mask. The room lighting is excellent for dim, relaxing moods, and the bathroom lights do an automatic nightlight/morning light smart change on their own.
Keep in mind this restaurant gets a lot of non-hotel customers, so you'll need a reservation. I tried making a reservation for 4 people two weeks early, but there was nothing available that entire evening. The day of we were able to get in at 8:30pm when someone canceled.
Finally, for the price and unfinished experience, Post Hotel is a better experience with the same price tag. Cascada's rooms appear to be cheaper, but when we added on the extra cost for time in the "thermal springs" and Post's included breakfast and lunch, the cost is the same, or maybe a slightly better deal at Post.
