My friends and I got day passes for the spa and it exceeded expectations from the moment we arrived. They provided electronic wristbands that could lock lockers, pay for drinks etc which was great. The changing rooms were well stocked with lovely products for showering after. The facilities were beautiful and plentiful. Loved the outdoor sauna & hot tub as well as the moody thermal pools in the basement. Wrapped up with a poolside drink at the main pool surrounded by foliage it was just perfect. Girlies approved ✔️

Absolutely amazing. My lovely wife and I went on a Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. there was plenty of curbside parking. Everyone treated us like royalty. Every pool was beautiful. Everything was luxurious. There was plenty of room to do everything. Completely clean. Every body type was there. I didn't feel out of place at all. Best 200 bucks I've spent in a long time. I'll be sure to bring other friends I have here soon. I'll also be giving this place away as a gift for all my friends birthdays etc.

I have no words— you simply have to come and experience it for yourself!! We stayed for two nights (just this past weekend) after getting married and the staff treated us incredibly well. I really do get the impression that Cascada cares about hospitality and the customer experience. We checked in after midnight on the night of our wedding. I was struggling, still in my wedding gown, to load our disorganized bags onto the luggage cart to take up to our room. We were greeted by Maurice working the front desk. He was SO kind and helpful, shoutout to Maurice for real !!! The entire stay was nothing short of exquisite. I spent as much time as humanly possible in the thermal spa, but our hotel room was also very cool and relaxing. All of our staff interactions were very positive and I am counting down the days until I get to come back. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

This is a stunning hotel in a unique part of town. I just can’t give it 5 stars given the experience received for the price paid. The room itself was clean and had all the amenities. However, for a luxury hotel, I expected more from the bedding. The mattress was extremely firm and the pillows were flat. ||The thermal springs experience left a lot to be desired. It was beautiful but overcrowded and there was very little explanation about how to best navigate the spaces. I would have appreciated a more laid back private experience. ||All in all, nice place. I wouldn’t choose to stay there again though given the cost.

I brought 60 of my closest friends to Portland for a two-day rager to celebrate a milestone birthday. They're mostly Seattle folks with some flying in from across the country—basically a discerning but definitely rowdy bunch who've seen it all. I was low-key stressed about whether Cascada could handle us. Walking in and having staff greet me by name? Felt like home. It gave me serious Four Seasons golden era vibes. And the lobby—guys, it's actually WARM and INVITING. I didn't realize how beaten down I was by every other hotel's "minimalist sad waiting room" aesthetic until I walked into this place. Everyone's talking about the rooms and yeah, they're great. But can we discuss the "Arrive" and "Sleep" mode buttons? One tap and everything—lights, blinds, the whole deal—either wakes up or shuts down. I'm 100% stealing this idea for my house. Okay, here's where things get wild. I worked with their events team to create something special, and they turned my birthday into a full-blown curated experience. Like, I casually mentioned it would be cool to have fresh tuna from Japan (just spitballing, you know?) and these legends actually made it happen. Two sushi chefs. Giant cuts of pristine tuna sashimi. My friends are still talking about it. Seriously—be careful what you dream up because Cascada's team will actually pull it off. If you're planning a big group event and want a place that combines killer hospitality with a "nothing is impossible" attitude, book Cascada. They made my birthday absolutely legendary, and my rowdy Seattle crew is already asking when we're going back.

Google
Cascada is really cool. I like the layout of everything, and how many different amenities there were. There is an outdoor hot tub, indoor hot tub, two saunas, a steam room, ice bath, ambient pool, mineral pool, main pool, loungers, cool rain shower, and outdoor fire pit. I really liked the shower products and the fact there was hot tea available at all times. Unfortunately the worst part of the experience is that I really didn't appreciate being filmed in the common areas, which happened a few times. It made me really uncomfortable. I can understand wanting the marketing benefits of letting people film and share the experience, but cascada could do private sessions for influencers or marketing, and no phones in general. There is a no phone rule in the sanctuary which is nice, but it's not enforced well. I saw multiple people with phones down there and staff either didn't care or weren't around to enforce the rules. They also didn't enforce the no talking rule. If you are someone who wants to avoid being randomly filmed in your swimsuit, you basically only have the sanctuary as an option which means you miss out on the fresh air, sunlight, and amenities in the other areas. Overall it's a really cool place and in theory it would be relaxing and rejuvenating. For me, the best aspects of the experience were really disrupted by the people filming and taking pictures. Allowing phones in a spa meant for relaxing and wellbeing makes it seem like the priorities are about potential exposure and marketing and not focused on wellness. If they were to make a no phone policy or even do certain days of the week that are phone-free, I would definitely be back. I did enjoy the amenities and I thought the facilities were really unique and very nice. The showers in the locker room were not very clean, but everything else was clean and organized.

I chose CASCADA for my husbands 35th birthday as a romantic getaway. He has a finer taste in things so from their website, ticked a lot of boxes. I was simply blown away by the entire experience. The front desk staff were personable kind and welcoming. The entire layout and decor of the building itself + lobby + coffee shop + floors + rooms + spa were eloquent, chic, modern, I loved it. We got a room + thermal spa package + dinner at Terra Mae. Was it pricey? Oh yeah lol was it worth every cent? And then some. Highly recommend to anyone looking to splurge. Quite literally an oasis in a quaint walkable neighborhood.

We stayed here for our anniversary and it was an unforgettable experience. Even though it’s only two hours from our home, it truly gave us that ‘away’ feeling — luxurious, relaxing, and peaceful. The pools were wonderful, the staff was attentive, and our room had a cozy, European charm that reminded me of Switzerland. The restaurant was also a highlight — hands down some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. This place has quickly become a spot I’d love to return to every year for our anniversary. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mix of luxury and relaxation.

Yelp
One of the hottest spas(no pun intended) I've been to in Portland. From clean and beautiful locker rooms with amenities such as a shower with gentle individually temperature controlled showers and awesome smelling body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion, bracelet locking lockers, and a spinner to dry your swimsuit. Now enter the conservatory with its wall-lined plants and end up overlooking the room temp swimming pool. Go down the stairs and have a dip, quiet chat or just read a book. Lay on a big oversized couch or chair and sip on herbal tea or water. Don't worry it's in a silicone cup so it won't shatter if you dropped it. Ready for the best part? Head downstairs to the basement but remember it's a quiet zone and no cell phones. Step into a dimly lit area with chill sounds playing I. The speakers. Hey, they have a suggestion routine to follow but it's only a suggestion. Enjoy the hot pool, the ambient pool, the cold plunge, or the lukewarm pool with the waterfall feature to completely relax you. Step into the steam sauna or the dry sauna to completely relax your experience. Don't forget to grab some ice cubes and rub them on your body after the steam sauna. Ahhh, feels so good. Hey, I don't take any pics of the place because I wanted to enjoy the place for what it offers. Plenty of other pics if you look on here. A little pricey so definitely a special treat but I guarantee you would forget it anytime soon. You can even follow it up with a massage if you want. Massage extra. The thing I like is the allotted time you get is more than enough and they aren't sticklers if you run over a little. Definitely recommend this place from the nice and welcoming staff and super easy check in process to the beautiful layout.

Yelp
Review of spa only - 100/10. Can't wait to return - scheduled my next visit shortly after leaving. Things to know - they provide everything you could need - towels and sandals, toiletries, there are cups for tea and water, lockers. Essentially, bring your bathing suit and you need little else. You might see 2.5 hours or 3 hours listed - you're intended to have 2+ hours to enjoy the spa, plus time in the locker room after to get cleaned up, so that's why you might see the different times. This is PLENTY of time. I was such a noodle near the end of my visit that I couldn't get back into another pool and was just resting on a chaise until my friend was ready to get dressed. The locker rooms are upstairs, you go down one level to the social pool. I was worried this room would be cold - nope, it's plenty warm and comfortable and the pool here is a warm soaking pool. There are skylites above and windows so if the sun is shining, you get to enjoy that. Enjoyed chatting and catching up here with my friends - you're encouraged to keep your voices low and during our visit, everyone did. Hot tea is available on this level and it was delicious. On the lower level below that one are the sauna, steam room, hot tub, ambient pool, cold plunge and mineral pool. On the way in there is a sign suggesting a couple circuit options. My friends missed that and wished they'd noticed it. I didn't need to do a special circuit as soaking in any of the pools was just a delight. This area is recommended silence and is very quiet and dimly lit. Such a balm. It's not entirely silent so if you need to whisper something, it seems fine, but I also highly recommend you try to enjoy the silence because there are so few places that are so calming for the nervous system. There are separate towels available inside the sauna for your use in the sauna as well. Again, they've thought out all of your needs. I look forward to my next visit.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful facility and looks exactly like the photos and videos. Could be the perfect place for Zen. The one thing that ruins it are cellphones and obnoxious people/groups who are there for the photo op and to post on social media. It ruined the experience. I intentionally left my phone in my locker and brought a book to be able to enjoy a few hours of quiet and relaxation on my birthday. Boy was I wrong. Maybe it's because the facility is still new. Spa World which is also an amazing facility has a designated area for cellphone use. Their no cell phone policy and enforcement of quiet in specific areas enhances the experience.

Yelp
Came here for a friend's birthday. Very relaxing experience. Super clean locker rooms with everything you could need. The main level pool was not super warm. Lounging area. Tea available. The bottom floor is basically an oasis. They are super strict about you being quiet though. I don't think it helped our case that the first part we went to there was a staff member off duty who I think told on my friend who wasn't being quiet enough. And then when someone else was being loud, they came and talked to us. Made her birthday not the best experience. All the pools and sauna areas are great. Just be prepared to not be allowed to talk. I don't believe it's worth $100. Go to Kennedy school for $10 and you can talk. But if you really want the sauna experience then I guess this may be worth it.

Yelp
I'm really grateful to be a founding member of Cascada. Before anything else- the staff is fantastic! The nicest and most professional people I've ever encountered in a gym. Everyone is so welcoming and good at their jobs. Since I moved to Portland nearly 10 years ago, I've wanted a gym that has it all. Not because I need something boujee, but because I'm more motivated and less likely to make excuses when my gym has amenities that makes my life easier. I can show up and really just bring myself and my clothes. The equipment (mats, towels, blocks, balls, and everything else), towels, shampoo, soap, even the deodorant is already there. They even serve herbal tea in the conservatory. I can work out and head straight to work or wherever else I need to go. I don't need to lug much around or run home first. To my knowledge, this is the first and only luxury gym in NE Portland. Another perk for me personally is that I can walk to Cascada from my house. I was interested in the membership because of the gym, but the thermal springs has won me over. Since it is part of my membership, I've been taking advantage. Cascada is brand new and still has minor growing pains. It's not perfect yet, but I am confident that it will be.

Yelp
Really lovely visit to the Cascada spa and thermal springs this past weekend. I got this as a birthday present for my gf and it was an absolute hit. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous and you can tell that a ton of attention to detail was applied to the decor. Everything from the lobby space, locker rooms, and pools themselves were beautiful. Check-in was simple and they use a great wristband system to get around which makes things easy. The springs themselves are well laid out and have nice flow. There's 3 thermal springs, a steam room, and sauna to rotate through which can get a little busy on a Sunday afternoon but likely wouldn't be as bad in a less peak time. The ambiance in the lower area is tranquil and relaxing with low music and dimmed lights. Definitely more for 1-2's rather than large groups as the bottom area is meant to be a quiet zone with no talking. The upper pool is equally a wonderful and serene space. The day beds were all filled when we were there but we were able to use lounge chairs above. If I had any feedback it's that they could be a bit more strict with things on the lower level. Some folks were chattering and distracting from the environment. Also the system for setting your things down is a little haphazard. I think by having more specified drop-zones and reducing outside bags etc it would just make everything look a bit more tidy. Overall for $10 more than another local Portland spring this is hands down winner across the board.

Yelp
CASCADA was an amazing time!! It was beautiful on the inside with lots of plants and natural lighting. When you go downstairs, it's a silent/zen area that is dark and full of different temperature soaking pools and saunas. It made for a lovely and refreshing morning.

Yelp
Wow! Holy gaaaawd. Amazing spa experience. Knot Springs fan but gee louie- watch out! The sanctuary had a much more relaxed, peaceful, and private feel. Being underground makes a huge difference. We hope to become members and visit regularly. We can't until till the vegan restaurant opens. The Portuguese/japanese fusion spot looks really good too.

Yelp
Truly incredible experience. Have lived in the Portland, OR area for over 25 years and I would rank this as one of the top 5 experiences of all time. A truly exceptional spa. Great customer service. And certainly a unique experience. The 3 hour time block is a generous amount of time to enjoy all aspects of the facility. There are plenty of options ranging from the cold plunge to the sauna and steam room, the mineral pool, ambient pool, and the hot tub. Very relaxing and a fun enjoyable environment. You will walk away refreshed and wanting to return again soon. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This brand new complex is spectacular! My bestie took me for a birthday treat, and I loved it. She belongs to the coworking space and gets use of the gym, which also has fitness classes. But the crown jewel is the spa. It is on two levels - a huge open solarium filled with live plants and a warm pool where you can hang out and enjoy the sun or chat with friends. Then down into the dark, warm sanctuary, beautifully lit and filled with calming music. A truly restorative and relaxing experience to enjoy the mineral pool, hot tub, cold plunge, sauna and steam room. Just gorgeous, every detail thought through. I can't wait to come back!

Maggie T.

Yelp
It's nice enough but personally I wouldn't go again until maybe the outdoor area was open and they fixed the coat bars in the lockers which crash nonstop to the floor and are jarring. I was bored after 30 minutes. It was also kinda crowded and you can't talk, except in the upstairs pool where everyone is taking selfies. I'm sure it's great for some people. I just found it okay.

Korina K.

Yelp
This place is awesome. Very nice touches throughout and beautiful! There were a couple things that if adjusted would make this place 5 stars for me. The groups of people who don't adhere to the no cellphone and talking policy was kind of annoying. It is nice to get space to just sit and be quiet but some groups didn't adhere to it. The other issue was the towels and robes. We got 1 towel and no robe. I am not sure what they give you a towel because mine was stolen both times I hung it up and when I came back for it, it was gone. There isn't a real need for a towel but a robe would have been nice but we didn't even get one of those like you would at a spa. and it becomes an issue because someone either takes your plain white towel or I would suggest they just give robes instead and hand out towels for the locker room. Beyond these two things this place is beautiful and it would be better if they kept this place a sanctuary and didn't allow social media and reminded people of the no talking policy.

Heidi R.

Yelp
My husband and I had SUCH a lovely time utilizing the spa here. The space is absolutely gorgeous, so clean, and the vibes are super relaxing. There's a variety of pools, hot tubs, steam and heat rooms to suit any whim! Highly recommend this experience, and cannot wait to book a massage at some point in the future :)

Yelp
Absolutely incredible spa and wellness experience. While they are just on the cusp of opening. I am beyond excited for this business to thrive! I just know they will become an institution in Portland and attract people from all over to experience the joy of this space.

Yelp
I've been to a lot of spas in my life all the way down through Southern California. This one tops every single one of them in creating a truly relaxing experience with exceptionally spacious pools and saunas. Also most spas are not thermal springs unless you go into a rural spa. This one is very convenient! The spaces are beautiful, soft lighting and pristine waters to create the best spa experience I have had. I went on a weekday and it was a perfect number of people. Lots of room to relax and lie down in the sauna. One person did talk too loudly and the attendant spoke with him. Perfect. We are from Seattle and stayed at the hotel. We were told that there are more amenities coming to the rooms but we found the room completely satisfactory. Mattress was great. All eco friendly and natural materials. Ambient lighting and draperies at my fingertips on a panel. So many fun details to experience. We ate at Terra Mae which was a show stopping experience! Tonkatsu and Enoki mushrooms! Morning espressos were had in the cafe situated in the lobby. They make all their own milks plus matcha and golden milk and the food is all made in Terra Mae's kitchen. We loaded up with their sandwiches for our return home. How do they make such wonderful food? We have already decided to make this place part of our regular trip to Portland. Thank you Cascada!
