Everytime I think about my trip to Bali, I always think of Cascades first (and Viceroy Bali of course). It’s such a special place because the food is amazing quality and almost fine dining, but it still feels so authentic and relaxed. What really stayed with me was the staff. They are locals from Nagi village (where the hotel is located) and some have been there for almost 20 years (since the hotel opened). You can really feel that in the service, it’s just so heartfelt and genuine. I can see why Kim Kardashian and her family chose to dine here when they were in Bali! The standards are so high but it feels like a home. The breakfast was incredible and we loved the cocktails and social hour too. Thank you so much to the team for welcoming me and my family. We were so happy here and will always remember it.

Had such a lovely meal at Cascade Bali at Viceroy Ubud. The food was seriously good and the view is beautiful, such a relaxing spot. I’m vegetarian and they catered to my dietary needs so easily without making it a big deal. The staff were super accommodating and made everything feel effortless. Would definitely come back!

I mean I can’t say much else for the price. Expensive by Bali standards, but the normal price of food from the countries tourists usually come from. Came here as a birthday treat, and was given impeccable service as well as a complimentary dessert from the kindness of the staff. All this in addition to being hosted at the lavish resort that is Viceroy. The Ox tail soup is great if you know how to eat from a vertebrae, and pizza was better than expected. Very impressed.

We visited Cascades at Viceroy Bali to celebrate my mother’s 70th birthday, following a recommendation from the kind staff member Destri — and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. Everything from the atmosphere to the service and food was spot-on. What stood out the most was the food itself — it let the natural flavors of the ingredients shine, with minimal use of seasoning or artificial enhancers. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared and genuinely nourishing. But what truly elevated the experience was the staff’s impeccable hospitality and emotional attentiveness. Their ability to anticipate and care for guests with such warmth and grace made it clear we were dining at a world-class restaurant. It was honestly surprising to experience this level of quality in both taste and service in Bali — in the best possible way. Cascades is one of those places I’ll remember, and the first I'd recommend to anyone heading to Bali.

Absolutely great place. The food and service is extraordinary. Although it was a buffet meal it was amongst the best I have ever had. Better than some fine dining restaurants. The only negative is the lack of air conditioning and cooling in the restaurant area. Makes it uncomfortable with the high humidity.

A delicious treat located inside a luxury hotel. The ambiance of the environment was lovely and the food tasted delicious. Would recommend if you want a private dinner with your partner!

We were lucky enough to stay at this amazing hotel and enjoy the most delicious food at Cascades. The view is amazing and the staff were exceptional, friendly and super attentive! We visited the restaurant every day for a delicious breakfast and loved all the daily specials. We also enjoyed three perfect dinners and the highlight was the Balinese Rijsttafel pescatarian set menu which included 11 amazing fish dishes - all were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The ambience was super relaxed and chilled. Thank you Chefs Jerry and Suandi, along with the lovely team - Sri, Balik, Hendra, Ngaruh, Hery and Nik for making each visit so special!
