Casey Jones Restaurant

I have been very disappointed in the service the last several times I have been to Casey's. At one time this was my favorite restaurant! But it seems like they train the wait staff to have a certain air that is not hospitable or friendly. Not outwardly rude but just on the hairy edge. Definitely not attentive or responsive to issues. A dinner last year came out horrible and I asked for a replacement, the waiter refused. Another day I brought my staff in for lunch, and drink orders were missed, late, etc with no apologies or efforts to correct, last week I had cream of crab soup with a LOT of shells... brought it to staff attention, and I got an "OK" with no apology, no offer to make it right. And that's the way they roll at Casey Jones anymore. For the price, they should do better and they used to.

Decent quality and good service. A bit pricey for the menu offered. Always busy bar. Baked Alaska is unusual anywhere and this place does it right! Just had a dinner meeting here and again the same. Nice staff.

One of the finest laid back casual pubs in la Plata I have been to!! A little high end on drink prices but is matched by service!! Will definitely swing by on my way back down!! Ami thanks for the great conversation and service!!

The menu is VERY odd and all over the place, no real theme. The food that we did end up ordering was ok. Our server was polite however, very unattentive. We had our drink orders taken, she brought them, took our orders and left.... we never saw her again until the appetizer was ready, then the next time we saw her (maybe 15 minutes later) she was delivering our entrees. We ate our entrees, were never checked on once. Then the bill came. We paid and left feeling a little underwhelmed considering we liked the overall feel of the place. Looked like a nice place but the menu being all over the place and the server being very unattentive, and obviously having no real supervision, will keep us away.

We had a reservation for 5:00 pm. We arrived a few minutes early and the doors were not open. We went to the bar and waited for them to open the doors. At 5 minutes after we walked up to the hostess stations. She acted like we were intruding. She finally acknowledged that we were standing there and we were taken to a table that backed up to a party with a screeching child. I asked to be seated somewhere else. i was told all the tables were reserved. Hello I had a reservation. The food has not been gerat the last few times we have eaten there. Needless to say I WILL NEVER GO BACK. ! Good luck to those of you who brave being treated so badly. This used to be m favorite restaurant. Not any more!!!!!!!!!

Casey's is the local place my friends and I usually go to if we wantnto grab a drink anf get good food locally. Bartenders are great and atmosphere is good as well. The dining area is nice and quiet since it is seperated by 2 walls from the bar, so it makes a nice place for a relaxing dinner as well

We came here before heading to Port Tobacco Theatre. Disgusting. My date ordered a buffalo chicken pizza - it wasn't cooked all the way through and they put chopped lettuce on top of the pizza. I had ordered their special fillet mignon. It was so salty it was essentially inedible. It took over 45 minutes for the food to even arrive. Even the bread in the bread basket wasnt fully cooked and you could see the stretchy raw dough on the inside. This place was an utter waste of $50.

My family and I had dinner in the dining room. We were happy with their prices and food was delicious. Great time there, we will be back. 3 different type rooms to sit in: dining room, bar area, or room with a view.
