I know this is a kiddie ride, but good lord do I love it. As a lifelong aficionado of miniature trains, there's something oh-so-magical about the Casey Jr. Circus Train at Disneyland! One of Walt's very favorite attractions, not much has changed over the years - and that's just the way us Disney purists like it! Located in a tucked away corner of Fantasyland, there always seems to be a line for this ride. The queue area is very small, and they sort of pack you into a very tiny area before boarding. This leads to some unnecessary and uncomfortable pushing and shoving, especially as people jockey for the best seats: arguably, the caboose and the monkey cage. Be aware that if you or your child has their heart set on a particular car, you need to shove to get to it. But don't be a jerk: if you arrived after someone else, let them have first pick, please (I speak from years and years of personal disappointment)! The train ride is long and fun, and includes a tunnel and all sorts of stuff to look at. Not only do you get beautiful vistas of the park, but the track rides along the same path of the Storybookland Boats. It's easier for Pooh-sized or ADA folks to enjoy the same scenes on the train versus the boat, just FYI. The open-air train ride takes you through enchanted Disney "homes," like miniature versions of Alice in Wonderland's house, Elsa's ice palace, Belle's village, and more. The Imagineers have outdone themselves here in terms of landscaping, choosing plants that look like mini trees! It's just so pretty. I recommend riding this at night, when the lights are twinkling. Even when I'm at Disneyland solo, I always make a point to ride this ride. And guess what? I'm usually not alone! There are still so many miniature train enthusiasts around, and we love a good train. This one is one of the best! If I ever became a cast member at Disneyland, I'd go to battle to get a job driving the Casey Jr. Circus Train!

This is a ride in Fantasyland that seems more for the young ones, but being young at heart my wife and I endure the dirty looks to ride it anyway! Casey Jr takes you on a fun circuit around Fantasyland and the Storybook Land Canal Boats. A catchy tune plays during your short exciting voyage! Remember, don't feed the wildlife, especially the ones in the monkey cage!

Google
Love the Casey Jr. train. Wait was quite excessive compared with pretty much every other ride on the park. Wonderful little ride though. Very well kept fairy land to ride through. I do not usually comment on wait times because that's what you should expect at Disneyland. Expect to wait. Deceptively long wait if only one train is running. Line looks short. Wait turns long. Especially when fast pass groups can fill a train half up.

According to the The Little Engine That Could trains in Walter Elias Disney’s classic, Dumbo, my top favorite character from Walter Elias Disney’s classic, Dumbo turned out to be Casey Junior/Casey Jones Junior the male North American 2-4-0 standard-gauge steamer tender engine locomotive that turned out to be the leader of the North American Walter Elias Disney Productions Medici Brothers’ circus train. He decided to chant “I think I can,” and “I thought I could,” over the big hill mountain when he decided to go reach the Joplin, Missouri town. To work that out, his job was to work the railroad day shift and the railroad night shift in order to move the North American Walter Elias Disney Productions Medici Brothers’ Circus out on a journey to go run all the way from the North American Florida Winter Headquarters within the land of the North American US sunshine state, Florida to the far up north town of Joplin, Missouri within the North American United States of America North America country during the 20th century year, 1919 in the 20th century, and along the way, he went through the North American railroad train tunnels in order to go through the North American mountains and the North American hill mountains so that he would not make crashes into the North American mountains and the North American hill mountains, and he had to go cross the North American railroad train bridges in order to cross the North American rivers so that he would not fall down into the North American rivers below the North American railroad train bridges, and he pulled his heavy load up the big hill mountain by chanting “I think I can,” all over and all over again and he went down the big hill mountain by chanting “I thought I could,” all over and all over again when he reached the top part of the big hill mountain, and he tooted his steamer train engine locomotive whistle with happiness joy, and most of all, he gave me permission to be reminded of Tillie the female North American 4-2-4 Standard-Gauge Little Blue Switch Steamer Train Engine Locomotive from the 1930 North American folk fairytale, The Little Engine That Could, and he chugged toward his destination that turned out to be the first up north town of Joplin, Missouri that was outside the North American Florida Winter Headquarters and outside the big hill mountain when he left the big hill mountain behind, and he chugged onward and onward to the Joplin, Missouri town and he turned his baseball-cap-shaped headlight off, and he fell asleep in order to get his good night sleep as a bigger reward for pulling his heavy load over the big hill mountain when he finally got to the Joplin, Missouri town and arrived in the Joplin, Missouri town on his schedule date. He has been to be completely better than Dumbo’s big ears and he has been my responsibility to have the confidence to the The Little Engine That Could trains and he has been my responsibility to the trains that work the railroad day shift and the railroad night shift. The word song lyrics to the Casey Junior song in Walter Elias Disney’s classic, Dumbo turned out to be “Casey Junior’s comin’ down the track, comin’ down the track with a smokey stack. Hear him puffin’ comin’ ‘round the hill, Casey’s here to thrill every Jack and Jill. Every time his funny little whistle sounds (Toot!-Toot!), everybody hurries to the circus grounds. Time for lemonade and cracker jack. Casey Junior’s back, Casey Junior’s back.”

Google
An underrated and enjoyable Disneyland classic. I love that Casey Jr gets to serve as his own ride. One of the best rides for young children and fans of Dumbo. That said, personally I prefer the Storybook Land Canal Boats because that ride is longer and gives a better look at the miniatures. But the kinetic energy of this ride is an essential part in making Storybook Land as great as it is.

The twin to the Storybook Land Canal Boats, the ride is different but the views are just as good.

Needs better shading for waiting line area. Also, there needs to be more than one train running at a time.

Yelp
This ride was surprisingly fun, our family of 4 enjoyed it! We didn't want to get wet in the rain and at the same time we wanted to ride together, so we squeezed into the monkey cage like a can of sardines. LOL! It was worth the discomfort and we enjoyed pointing out all the themed miniaturized scenes from Disney classics like Aladdin! The best part was when our brave train went up the hill! Definitely a childhood classic book, when he says: "I think I can. I think I can. I think I can." I would definitely recommend this baby friendly ride inspired by the train in the movie Dumbo! We'll definitely be returning, especially since the queue was brief! Did you know the sleigh train cars were originally part of King Arthur Carrousel? SYOY! :-)

Yelp
Love this attraction with all its charm and beauty and splendor. An easy, laidback ride through Storybookland located in Fantasyland. Try to ride in the very last car facing backwards. It's really a blast. 2 things to do: wave to those in the boats and other trains & look carefully at the miniature villages, if you can. Might find some hidden treasures. Choo-Choo!!!!

Yelp
Our three-year-old Leo B. loves a train, but the tunnels along the Disneyland Railroad freaked him out on his first visit to Disneyland and he didn't want to ride it again when we went back last month. We were happy to find the Casey Jr. Circus Train in Fantasyland, which was much more his speed, a cute, leisurely mini train ride like the ones you might find at a zoo, but done up in full Disney style. It's apparently one of the park's original attractions, but I didn't even know it was here until this last trip. I guess I had no use for it when I was old enough to make memories but not yet a parent. The circus train is definitely for little kids, small and not terribly exciting, with no height restrictions--both Leo and his baby brother Wade B. seemed to enjoy it. There was almost no wait to get on, and the ride was fun and relaxing. We opted for one of the open cars (you can also ride in an animal cage) and sat back while it wound its way across the track, passing miniature storybook scenery from various Disney movies. Casey Jr. is from Dumbo, which was news to me. This is by no means an essential ride if there are no tiny children in your party, but if there are, it's certainly worth the negligible line. Grab your babies and climb on board the Casey Jr. Circus Train.

Yelp
Different style of carts to choose from simple train ride to catch up on emails, post photos to your social Medias ect. just a relaxing ride and fun for the little ones.

Yelp
What more can be said about the iconic Casey Jr Circus Train at Disneyland? Get ready to embark on a whimsical journey that'll transport you back to your childhood dreams! Casey Jr Circus Train is an absolute must-do when you visit the park with a toddler. It's one of those classic attractions that captures the essence of Disney magic in a compact and delightful package. As I hopped aboard the colorful train with my kids, I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement. The train chugged along at a gentle pace, taking us through miniature versions of beloved Disney storybook scenes. It was like being part of a charming storybook come to life! The sights and sounds on the Casey Jr Circus Train were simply enchanting. The attention to detail of the castles and villages were astounding, and it made me appreciate the craftsmanship more than 60 years ago. One of the highlights of the ride was the catchy tune of "Casey Jr" playing in the background. I couldn't resist humming along as we made our way through the whimsical landscapes. It's one of those tunes that sticks with you, and even now, it brings a smile to my face whenever I hear it because my kids' association with it. What I loved about Casey Jr Circus Train is that it appeals to both kids and adults. The little ones will be wide-eyed with wonder, while the adults will appreciate the nostalgia and the chance to relive cherished memories from their own childhood. Pro tip: If you're visiting Disneyland with young kids, Casey Jr Circus Train is an ideal ride to start with. It's not too long, and the gentle pace ensures that even the littlest adventurers can join in on the fun. I definitely prefer it when they run 2 trains around the track. If the line get past the staircase with only 1 train running... I may just skip it for the day. All aboard for a magical journey! I think I can, I think I can!

Yelp
Casey Junior tricked me! The wait time said 25 minutes and we ended up waiting over an hour I got duped by kids ride! They only have one train so one driver and that means very long waits at 4 minutes a pop. Located in Fantasyland, the queue is a bit confusing with no guidance. So many people were confused about where to line up. It was adorable though and I love that little Casey said "I think I can" as he went up the hill. What a little cutie train. But I think it's just that. This was my first time riding Casey which is surprising but I never thought of it as more than a very little kid ride. And to wait an hour for it? I must've lost my mind. You go through the same mini scenes that you do on Storybook Canals. Now the cool bit is that Casey Jr. Circus Train is one of the OG rides that opened with the park in 1955. Fun to try once, but I think I'm good I'm ever riding again!

Yelp
Casey Jr Circus Train ride is one of my favorites, located in Disneyland Fantasyland next to Dumbo. This ride takes you on a tour through miniature versions of fairytale locations from classic Disney movies. This ride is for any height and it is a slow ride. There are no drops. It brings you through a wide variety of miniature versions of the following locations -Frozen -Three Little Pigs -Peter Pan -Pinocchio -Alice in Wonderland -Royal City of Agrabah and Cave of Wonders from Aladdin -Little Mermaid -Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs -Cinderella -Lullaby Land -The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr.Toad Casey Jr Circus Train is one of the original rides at Disneyland Park from 1955. The train consists of sleigh-style cars. The wait time for this ride is pretty short compared to other fantasyland rides. This ride is the same as storybook land canal boats. The canal boats get you a little closer though!

Yelp
This is fine for the very young set. On this particular day we were visiting from Florida with our grandkids. Whilee we were on line, one of the trains broke down and came off the line. Therefore, we had a longer wait. It was a long, slow wait. of course, when our grandson picked a vehicle to ride in, he picked the animal cage car where we all had to bend down after hitting our heads on the interior roof. ugh. It was a very short ride and not very exciting for the older children riding it. It is an old timer and is thee for nostalgia but at this point I am not sure if even the very young can get much enjoyment from it.

Yelp
Today was the first time we went on this ride. It was surprisingly fun and very long, lasting 4 minutes! Kids loved it. We shall be back, line was only 15 minutes on a Monday AM.
google avatar

Neen M.

Yelp
As "childish" as this ride is it sure makes you feel happy and joyous. The wait time is forever because well, there's ONE train. Depending on where you fall in line is what seat you'll get as it's first come first serve. Lot's to see and even though it's more for kids your inner child definitely can enjoy and appreciate this ride too.
google avatar

Ann T.

Yelp
It's more of a cute ride for the younger kids. I feel like if you're not seated in the jailed carts, it's just like a typical train ride you'd see at a mall or at a fair grounds. The big perk with this ride is that you can look into the miniature displays from the Storybook Land Canals. The audio quality was a bit jarring to me. It's a nice to go to if there's a short line, but not a top priority for me.

Matthew C.

Yelp
Matthew's gonna review some individual Disneyland attractions/spots! The Casey Jr Circus Train ride, I will never forget its animation counterpart in the classic motion picture Dumbo. I used to watch that movie on repeat throughout the age of 4 to... up until 8 or 9, really. It's that one Disney feature length cartoon that my parents recorded on the now obsolete VHS tape, and my sister and I would just play it over and over because, well, that's all we had back then. No internet in the early 1990s, people. The unintended result is that now, even as adults, my sister and I both still know the scenes from the movie very well, and that most definitely includes Casey's scene of its carrying all the circus staff and animals miles and miles, up and down several hills, traversing through long tunnel(s) before reaching their next circus act venue. We both still distinctively remember the musical number that accompanied this scene, and how poor Casey had a hard time climbing up the hill, panting and struggling, until finally overcoming the slope and smoothly descending down the other side. Ah! Such memories! So in that sense, this attraction makes total sense for us, for it gives us a chance to actually become part of this iconic movie, and for us to experience the fictional plot, and to relive our real-life memories (of watching the film). I would imagine most kids these days just see this simply as another fun train ride; but for us older folks, it could potentially mean so much more. Of the seat options available on Casey, I highly recommend choosing the cages labeled either Monkeys or Wild Animals. It's not an everyday chance that you get to experience what captive creatures feel like. Kinda wrong in a way, but also so much fun when you don't give it too many serious thoughts. The train ride actually lasts for quite a while, so even if you have the misfortune of lining up for more than 20 minutes for this so-so Fantasyland attraction, at least you'll get to enjoy it for a good length of time. Though it spans across not that big of an area, the train track actually circles back and makes 2 to 3 laps, essentially cycling the same basic premise at different elevations, enabling you to get a decent tour of the area at a decent pace. Whether intentional or not, you'll also get a nice view of the lake that the boats embark on in a nearby attraction, the Storybook Land Canal Boats ride. You'll get to view the same miniature "famous" Disney buildings and scenery as the other attraction, though at a much faster and more brief fashion. You're on a train, after all. So don't blink, or you'll miss it. If you're awesome at this, be sure to check out Arendelle and Agrabah! Final thoughts: It's a kiddy ride, but a nostalgic one at that even for the kiddy-at-heart adults. While it is not at all worth a long wait for most grown ups--especially what you most likely will end up doing is essentially squeeze your full size bodies into tiny little train cars and/or cages--catch this Dumbo locomotive when there is little or short wait. (A 10-minute wait is the threshold for me. No more than that.) It'll bring back some decent childhood memories, which is partially why you pay for a Disney admission, yes?
google avatar

Giselle V.

Yelp
This is such a cute ride, and it's really fun for small children who don't want to go on one of the scarier original rides such as Snow White or Pinocchio. It's longer than it seems it would be, and sitting in one of the cages on a hot day is pretty relaxing with the shade and a cool breeze as the train chugs along. The design is just like a circus train and the kids like to ride in the parts that resemble cages, which is fun. But they don't tell you where to sit so you might not be able to sit where you want if someone else gets there first. The line is never too long whenever I come to ride it. And it's essentially the same ride as the storybook boat ride, but you get to see the same views that you saw below on the boat, from above on the train.

Yelp
[Review #266] 2018 Yelp 100 Challenge (31/100) If your kids love trains, then Casey Jr. Circus Train is the ride for them, even if they're Thomas The Tank Engine fans. There's several different coaches to choose from... both open air carriages & covered cages. The cages can be challenging for adults like me who are not limber enough to easily slide on or off. :-| If I have my choice, I'd take the first car or the caboose. When the gates open, my daughter runs in to grab a cage because she loves pretending to be a circus animal like an elephant, tiger, lion, etc. Her little brother will sometimes engage in the pretend animal play, but he mostly sits & watches the scenery (of Fantasyland... mostly over Storybook Land Canal Boats) unfolding below. Sometimes the kids will bounce along with the song... we've been on it a few times but still haven't learned the song yet (but they got "it's a small world" down pat). Depending on the conductor, the ride can be fast or slow; I noticed evening rides are usually faster. We had a comical conductor on our latest trip, he told jokes & silly stories while we were waiting in line, & a couple anecdotes during the ride. =) I prefer taking a ride in the evening when Disneyland & Casey Jr. Circus Train are lit up in the evening, especially on a warm spring evening. Choo choo!
google avatar

Mirna E.

Yelp
Cute ride with similar sights as the whale boat ride. My 2-year old daughter loves trains so this was a must on our list. The line can be long and slow especially when they only have one train going. However, it's a cute ride and fun for kids so definitely worth the wait.
google avatar

Tamara P.

Yelp
Cute little Dumbo train ride that takes you through Storybook Land. My husband loves sitting in the caboose and my daugher loves sitting in the animal cages, so we always just take turns with each visit. The line can be deceiving so although the line may seem shorter than lines for Dumbo and Peter Pan, it moves much slower because of the one train. I don't know why they took away the second train. It moved so much faster with it running. Between my daughter and my husband, we will definitely be back...

Yelp
Casey Jr. is coming down the track, coming down the track, with a smoky stack... I'm an annual pass holder and our routine is to always start the day at Casey Jr's. My son is fascinated with trains, and during the ride we sing along the Casey Junior theme, that's playing as it moves. Its one of the few rides in the park, that you would have to wait for when it departs and make its full route before picking up another set of riders. I'm always surprised how many people get here no matter what part of the day it is. I find it's best to sit on the very rear of the cart, that's facing the opposite direction, you do get a better ride view when going through "Storybook Land" because there's nothing in front of you obstructing your viewing. However, getting the rear-end seat is not always guaranteed if there's many people ahead of you. When the good seats are taken, you might end up in the least popular seats like the caged cart, especially when there can be a party inside and you get crammed in it. It does fool some people thinking there's a problem with the train when it starts slowing down, then stops at midpoint, but its just Casey Junior telling itself "I think I can" before moving uphill. Its a slow moving ride that's good for all ages and for families, but not one of the favorites for those thrill-seekers.

Michael J.

Yelp
Fun little train! Wait was short. Staff were friendly. Nice little route through the Storybook Canal ride. Great experience!
google avatar

Nasha W.

Yelp
What a hoot! If you are a thrill seeker this is not for you. If you have little wild monkeys or are looming to join the circus then hop on board! This little train ride is perfect for little infants and toddlers, monkeys, and old people alike! Our little one loves to dance to the music and the displays of the mini town from the ride below is just superb. This ride is excellent if you're looking for s ride for your little. If you have time to spare and aren't in a hurry to ride the mountains you're sure to get in quickly first thing in the morning.
google avatar

Craig Y.

Yelp
I haven't been on this ride in like over 10 years i think so I don't remember anything about this ride except for riding in the cage car. This is a fun relaxing ride although now being an adult and trying to squeeze in the seat was kinda tough lol. As a kid back in day i think i rode this maybe twice I don't know why i never rode this ride more often. Anyways another relaxing ride i like at Disneyland.
google avatar

Connie C.

Yelp
This a classic Disney ride! I do recommend this even if you're an adult with no kids. Yes, essentially it's a train ride but it's nostalgic and very relaxing. I like being able to see the castles and villages from Storybook Canals. Ride is not very long but it's a nice break from the screaming thrill rides. I recommend this one at night so you can see the castles and villages light up. The only downfall is wait times can be about 20 minutes. There are 2 trains running but they're not going fast. And there's the awkward moment of trying to figure where to sit without breaking up your party. You basically hop on a train car that isn't occupied, the cast members don't assign you.
google avatar

Lindsey O.

Yelp
This is truly a great ride. It may be a kiddie ride (it was my favorite as a little tiny child and I made my parents do it over and over until they probably wanted to kill me) but it's a great way to get some of the best views of Disneyland. It's a nice slow ride with cute music, great views, and you can even have your own car away from children if you so choose. 5 stars.
google avatar

Eric N.

Yelp
Casey Jr. comin' down the track... This is one of those amazing Fantasyland attractions that would be so much better with a little bit shorter line. After waiting in line you board a really cute small train. You get to sit in either the regular train cars (that fit about 2 people per car) or you get to sit in one of the circus "cages". Why would you not want to sit in the circus cage?? That is just too cool. The ride itself lasts a few minutes and takes you on a nice little tour of Fantasyland and the Storybook Canal. There is one part of the ride when the train struggles to make it up a hill and then glides down the hill on the other side. The total best view in my opinion is the back seat...you actually face backwards so you get a really fun point of view of the whole trip. And the train has a totally catchy song to go along with it. You know...Disneyland is known for those catchy tunes...just visit Small World for proof. :0)
google avatar

Trina D.

Yelp
I had never been on Casey Jr's Circus Train before so we decided to ride it twice when it wasn't busy. The best time to ride is at night so that you get a view of the entire park lit up. You also ride by Storybook land so you can see the boats and if you are lucky, you might catch the fireworks as well. Unfortunately, the night we rode it, the fireworks were cancelled due to windy conditions. It's still a great ride to bring the younger kids on.
google avatar

Kat M.

Yelp
3.5 Stars My 4 year old son is still a fan of this train ride. There are no thrills or anything exciting for us adults, but the kiddies that like trains seem to like the ride. I would not wait longer than 15min (max) for this ride.

Yelp
I have to say that I have been to Disneyland at least once a year since I was born. I have had several annual passes over the years, and I never remember riding Casey Jr. Circus Train until this last year. This last year I took my 3 year old nephew to Disneyland at least once or twice month. Every time we have gone, we could not go home until we rode his favorite Casey Jr. It's an adorable little train located next to Dumbo. If you know the movie, Casey Jr. is the train that transported the circus the Dumbo and his mother Mrs. Jumbo was a part of. On the ride, the Casey Jr. song from the movie is played. My nephew knows this song well, and sings it during the ride. He likes it so much that he constantly asks me to play the video of the song on YouTube. The train drives around the little villages of the Storybook Land Canal Boats. A wonderful part of the ride is the "I think I can" little hill that Casey Jr. conquers. I know that many children have their favorite cars to ride on the train. For my nephew it was always the caboose. It's a fun ride, and I have the best memories over this year with my nephew on this ride.

Yelp
Casey Jr Circus Train coming down the track, coming down the track... Based on the train from the 1941 classic "Dumbo" Casey Jr Circus Train is a fun ride for adults and kids alike. The cars are a little small for adults but that may be part of it's charm.
google avatar

Alberto E.

Yelp
My kids love this ride. I like it because I can put them in the monkey cage, ha ha ha. I enjoy the tour of the Storybook Canal and the little models of Disney classic locations. The music for the ride is catchy and the train does pick up some speed. I especially enjoy the part where the train is chugging up the hill, it struggles, reaches the high point and cruises down the hill. Choo choo! If you have little kids and they enjoy trains, make sure to make a train stop here.
google avatar

Destiny E.

Yelp
I love this ride especially if you have kids. I don't typically ride this as it is much more geared toward children but I had my little brother with me and he loves trains! We celebrated his third birthday a month early at Disneyland and he loved this ride the most. The ride is slow with a catchy song playing. There is no assigned seating so whatever cart you're lucky to get you get. The staff count out groups based on the amount of carts and let the group in as a whole so if you're at the end (like we were) you basically don't get to chose a cart since everyone in front of you gets first choice as they're closer. This wasn't an issue for my little brother who doesn't really care yet but it can be an issue for older children who want a specific cart (the cages are the most popular carts). Line can be a hit or miss- if the line is long the wait will be long as there is only one train that goes around.
google avatar

Shalini G.

Yelp
This ride is under rated...my kids and I luv it...hubby barely fits in the monkey cage...haha...i gotta post a pic of him getting out of it.. its the train ride that most people pass on by in fantasy land. next time stop and give it a try

Love this ride, even before we had our son (was a fan of it), who, for the first time, last thursday (9/18), got to ride it, and was more intrigued by the other ride (storybook) overseeing all the miniature homes along the water, one with a windmill, one with a wheel; beautiful scenery and the landscaping is just gorgeous (so green, so lush, carefully manicured- I can see why he was distracted). The wait wasn't so bad, but underneath the blistering heat, maybe seemed longer? When we finally got our chance, we chose a train car with shade (animal cages). It's a fun ride, making adults feel like kids again. Went by fast. Had fun some while it lasted, though. The real challenge was, trying to explain to our little guy, that we were leaving one ride to go ride another. I'm sure that we'll be back and this ride will be on our agenda, too.

Yelp
I cannot believe that I grew up in LA and have visited Disneyland countless times, and yet I haven't been on this ride. My son LOVED it. My son was singing the theme song for quite a while after the ride concluded! It's cute for adults as well. The train itself is cute and spacious. The "cages" are a bit awkward for adults to get into, but it's what my son chose for us. The scenes the train travels through are miniature and cute. Overall the line moved fairly fast - there is only one train, but because it's less popular of a ride, we did not have to wait long. I love the discover of Casy Jr Circus Train for us, and we'll be headed for this ride on our next visit.

Yelp
Good clean fun! I love the feel of being near more than riding the ride here. The whole area is lovely, even though Star Wars is impacting things a touch. I just adore Fantasyland! This is Disneyland to me. Thanks to the amazing Cast Members who work so hard to bring this place to life. We Love you, and know that YOU are the Magic here. With out you it is just cool Real Estate!

Yelp
I am an annual passholder for disneyland and I took my family here for a good time. The first ride we took at 11:48am on 5/31/18 was The Casey Jr. Train Ride. Katelin was a young Caucasian employee counting all the people in the train carts wearing a brown coat over her uniform. Vivian was another employee there on the same shift. There was 9 people in one cart, and she explained that the max capacity was only 9 people. She took my husband out the carr and put him in the back cart super far from our family and when my family and I recpunted...she miscounted and there was only 8 of us in the cart now. I wanted to ask her to put my husband back in our cart but she had a bad attitude and told the other employee to start the train. I was furious at this point because she miscounted and let the train go when she clearly saw that I wanted to talk to her. After the ride was over, Vivian opened our cart and let us go. I asked Vivian the max capacity and I got confirmation that it was 9. Katelin saw me talking to Vivian and took me to the exit and took my complaint with a very nasty attitude. She then told me," Here is my name, it's Katelin! Its all yours honey, take it to city hall if you want. Haha." At this point I wanted to go straight to city hall or cause a scene, but my husband stopped me and calmed me down. I was upset all day because of this incident. The other family that witnessed this with me both works at disneyland and they believed that she was out of hand also. It was their day off & they met up with me and my family because I had a membership. I saw the city hall line upon leaving & decided that she wasnt worth standing in the sun in a long line for 20 minutes. I just yelped the ride & disneyland. Her horrible attitude didnt make it seem like, "the happiest place on earth."

Yelp
So fun! I love this ride. My only complaint is that they need to run the 2nd train more often.

Yelp
I rode the Casey Jr. Circus Train in Disneyland (Anaheim, CA) on 11/11/2015. It's a fun ride. Plus, I took photos.

Yelp
Not good for someone who's claustrophobic like me. Eek! I freaked out when they put me in a cage. I barely fitted in there plus I had a friend with me. Nice ride around the Storyland Boat Canal but not worth it for me. Line is decent since not a lot of people go on it. Kiddies will love it though.

Yelp
Attraction ranking #28 of 31 ------------------------------------- 5 star for toddlers, 1-2 stars for the rest of us. The cages you ride in are super squished and awkward for everyone who is not four. The ride itself is kind of boring on its own. Not as boring as Storybook but boring all the same. It's saving grace is its toddler friendly, adobable, original ride atmosphere. The line is short because everyone knows its Blah. Blah. BLAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! If you have wussy kids or 3 year olds this is for you. Go on something else If you want thrill. The reason its not in the cellar is because I had some memories on It. It used to be so much fun. I salute you.

Yelp
I like this ride. I have a lot of good memories riding on this ride with my little brother years and years ago. It's a great, great kids ride and a lot of fun. You get the choice of sitting in regular train cars or cool animal cages (which I always wanted to sit in, of course!). You get the Casey Jr music throughout the ride and it's super super cool that it goes through the Storybook Canal and you get to see all the cool little models that are used for that ride. The line often gets really long and it's slow moving to get to the front because there is only one train. But I do think if you have a little kid (especially one who loves trains, like my brother did), it's worth the wait in the line to take them on this ride.

Yelp
The line isn't too long usually, especially compared to Dumbo. I really like the Storybook Cruise, and you get to see all if that from here, plus a good view of the Matterhorn.

Yelp
This is the train ride from Dumbo movie. The ride is not that long, pretty fun. but it's not worth the wait if the line gets pretty long. Sit inside the cage, it's a great feeling to the be "monkeys". Overall, I will give this a 4 stars.

Yelp
Take the train. No, really, take the train! On busier days you will find there are more than one train on the tracks but even on the busiest of days the line doesn't take very long. It loads faster than you think. Of course most want to travel in the animal cages - adults and kids alike but it can be just as fun in the open cars and the caboose. Listen closely as you climb the hill. I thought everyone heard it but some do miss it. Ride this before or after you ride the Storybook boats. This way you can see all things you may have missed.

Yelp
The one with the bars. Even though it's sad that animals were (and largely still are) transported this way for circuses. The one with the bars. That's all you need to know.

Yelp
The train ride is pretty neat. Wonderfully decorated and colorful! The cages make for a good photo -op. Kids go wild for trains. Just like Carousels... trains and carousels. My niece enjoyed this very much. Will be back:)

Yelp
My just-turned-3-year-old kept on wanting to ride this -- even more than the real train -- so it gets 5 stars. And, the wait was 10 times less than Space Mountain. My kid was obsessed with the caboose... fortunately, we were able to strategically position ourselves in line and then box out other kids and adults.

Yelp
I love this ride! My husband not so much... he says it's for little kids... wait times can be a bit ridiculous since there is only 1 train.. they should really get another train going when there are a lot of people in line.

Yelp
Pretty cute but the Story Book Boats are better IMO. Go if the line is short and sit in the caboose facing backwards for the most fun!

Yelp
A colorful little circus train chugging along around the Storybook Land area, with the Casey Jr. song from "Dumbo" playing all the way through. It's cute, I'll admit I like sitting in the cage instead of the open-air cars (I guess it's fun to ride when you aren't actually a circus elephant or a cow going to a slaughterhouse, etc. You're welcome for the free bring down). I actually enjoy seeing the Storybook Land models this way vs. the boats; you don't hear the descriptions, but in a way, you get a better view, plus you circle them a couple times. Better than the Disneyland Railroad because there's more speed and the view is more interesting, although when you stop you're exactly where you started (does anyone use the DR for transportation anyway?). Three stars because I'm not tempted to ride it regularly; it's probably more fun if you're a kid, but it was still nice to go on for the first time in years.
