Casey's Hotel

Walked in on a very quiet Wednesday evening. Sat in a comfortable seating area only to be told that we had to move … in case a group of 5 arrived… there was more chance of aliens arriving. Smart barman said he was “trying to run a business”… but if he had of noticed all he would have to do was move a table. I would stay away from here and enjoy the hospitality down the road

The room was large, overlooking the garden. Great mattress and pillows. The tea making facilities in the room had proper china cups.|Breakfast was wonderful, although we had cereal, muesli, and fruit with yoghurt. We were given a slice of Irish soda bread as a gift. Chatted with the woman that served us the tea/coffee for ages, very friendly and funny, and informative. The hotel was clean, big car park next door.

We stayed only 1 night as part of our travel plans but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, and the room was very clean. ||The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The shower was amazing, being large and with great water pressure. There were supplied toiletries and though the room is a little on the small side, it was perfectly fine for two of us and our luggage. We did not find ourselves needing or wanting more space, as we really only slept in the room with there being so much to see in town. ||If you’re in need of dinner or drinks I’d highly recommend the restaurant downstairs. The staff were great, and the food was very good. We walked around town to check out the restaurant scene and found all others to be nearly empty while people waited for tables at Casey’s. We went back and had a great meal with great, attentive, service. All the servers seemed to be operating on the same team, checking in to make sure your needs are met, and to see if you need anything else. It was quite seamless and enjoyable to watch. They even seemed to be happy to be there and helping people.||I’d highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in this town. It’s an easy walk down to the bay, or up around the corner to the shops. Plenty of parking is available and it’s reasonably quiet despising being on the main road through town.

Stayed here occasionally over the years. Always excellent. The Beef and Guinness pie was superb. Breakfast was beyond excellent. And so friendly. Road noise a bit unfortunate but cannot be helped. Mattress a little hard. There should be more hotels like this.

My wife and I stayed there in Oct 2024 while hiking the Beara Way. The room was great, very clean, everything we needed, zero issues. The restuarnt was fantastic as well. The staff was very attentive and food tasted really good. An older gentleman, maybe the owner, was greating every table making sure the customers were happy. He gave us some useful information ragarding the hike, also his weather forecasting for the following day was spot on, which was a much better scenerio than what my phone app was saying. We also had breakfast (B&B), super friendly staff and quick service. If I'm ever in Glengarriff again I will surely be stopping at Casey's. Thanks.

Very friendly family hotel , stayed 2 nights , lovely room , couldn’t ask for more , been there many times , always get warm welcome , nice walks near by , short drive to Bantry town , lots to do in and near Glengarriff, I would recommend Casey’s Hotel

Really friendly, excellent service, nothing too much bother. Really feel they care about their guests. Donal the owner gave us a great welcome and tips on where to go swimming. Dinner was really tasty, perfect roast duck. best spot in town to eat definitely. Spotlessly clean hotel, free newspapers and love when you get free shower caps too. I'll be back. It is the perfect location. Next to pubs for sing songs

Excellent family hotel, amazing location in the centre of town and next to the blue lagoon and boats for Garnish. Delicious food, I had an excellent roast duck for dinner. Very clean hotel, with really friendly service. Highly recommend it. Great live music in Harringtons pub across the road too. Owner Donal of the hotel was really helpful. Gave us a great welcome and gave us great tips on lovely swimming spots. My self and my 7 friends will be back.

I was on the way to Castletownbere for a few nights and decided to stop in Casey's Hotel for lunch, as it was lunch time & I was quite peckish. I walked into the restaurant, it seemed quite busy, so I asked if they had a table for one or if it was possible to sit at the bar and eat there. The menu looked good and I decided to go for a crab sandwich and a side of chips (fries). I was really disappointed with the sandwich, it was very small and not very filling, especially for the price they were asking for it. I also found the staff to not be that friendly. I will not be rushing back to Casey's Hotel any time soon.

Food and service were excellent. I had the seafood medley and would definitely have it again. The waiter and bartender were very helpful about the area.
