Visiting for the day and decided to drop in here for lunch. It was a busy Sunday lunchtime and when we asked for a table, we were told they were fully booked but could probably seat us in about 20 minutes. Thought that was fair, since we hadn't booked. The gentleman who was in charge (possibly the owner or manager?) showed us to some seats in the lobby and took our drinks order while we waited. We were shown to a table and given our menus about 10 minutes later, so all was good. We noticed the staff almost running from kitchen to bar to patio constantly- certainly working hard and fast. We decided what we would like to eat and then waited for someone to come and take our order. People all around us were receiving their food and after about 15 minutes of waiters running back and forth past us but not stopping, we asked the same person who initially showed us to the table whether we should order at the bar, not having been there before. He said someone would take our order but they were busy. Waited another 5 or 10 minutes but no one stopped by to take our order so this gentleman did so himself. The food came out after a while - we had seen lots of people arrive long after us but receive their meals much faster so I think they just forgot we were there. There was a lot of running around but there didn't seem to be much coordination- no particular waiters responsible for specific tables so easy to be missed altogether, as in our case. The food was good when it came, although the vegetable were quite hard. Giving 4 stars largely because they were kind enough to fit us in without a reservation, but a little more coordination would improve the experience so that customers don't get missed. We saw waiters attend to tables either side of ours multiple times but never look in our direction. We asked for the bill and again, waited a long time before deciding to go to the bar and pay there - the waitress seemed to forget about us again.
