What a special place. Not really a hotel, more like a home. I loved the ambience, the silence, the two lounges and cozy bar area. I especially loved the open fires - three of them! Breakfast was wonderful and so were the two dinners we enjoyed there. Great service from all of the staff. Bed was very comfy.

One of the few ‘residents only’ hotels about. Don’t drop in for just a coffee as they don’t do that. A simply beautiful old house with lots of character and lovely gardens right by the shore. The location delivers peace and tranquility. Staff are most friendly and helpful. Will definitely return. Plus it’s dog friendly!!

I had a truly memorable stay at Cashel House Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. Brian and the entire team were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, always ready with a kind word or thoughtful suggestion. The hotel itself is full of charm and character, with a peaceful, timeless atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and unwind. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and provide a lovely place to stroll or simply sit and enjoy the surroundings. Cashel House is also a fantastic base for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way. It’s perfectly located for visiting Connemara and the coastline. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. Dining here is a real pleasure. We left feeling rested and well looked after. Cashel House Hotel is a very special place and I look forward to returning.

It is a lovely old-world charm hotel. We were fortunate to get a room upgrade with a lovely garden view. It's quiet and relaxing and a good base to tour from. I can't fault the food, really good.

I was down memory lane looking at the hotel on Google, and it gave us laugh when asked to rate Cashel house as we stayed there before Google and mail and cheques was the norm. It was in May 1978, and we loved it always planning to go back but never made it, we lost all the photos taken there, but still have the bill. Wonder if we made it back to the hotel. They would charge the same rates ,haha. The 5 stars are for our stay then, which was completely excellent. Happy days.

Lovely welcome. Well appointed quaint stay. Nice location to airport. Off street parking was nice. It was a nice way to end our vacation.

Yelp
This place is amazing. If you ever need to be in this area, Cashel House Hotel is where you need to stay. The staff went well above and beyond in every aspect. The rooms were immaculate; the food is divine and the people were so incredibly wonderful!! If I could give more stars. I would.

Yelp
Another jewel in the crown, we were rather shocked when learning we were one of four couples in the entire place. Perfection, we thought. We reveled in being absolutely spoiled in this sleeper locale where De Galle once stayed in the late 60s. While the accommodations weren't what one might consider top of the line, they were well-furnished, clean and spacious. Every room but for those occupied was open, providing a true run-of-the-house feel. The food and service exceeded five stars...simply delicious. What fun with potatoes, and extensive vegetarian offerings without so much as a blink. Between the gardens, grounds, and an old nearby cemetery where we sat smoking Cuban cigars and overlooking a bluff, we knew we'd found a slice of heaven. The thought of staying there permanently crossed our minds more than once.

Yelp
Spectacular! From the moment we arrived, the Staff made us feel welcome and their attention to detail was amazing. Our room was large and had views of the garden and the Bay. The dining area is beautiful and the food and spirits was exceptional. We can't wait to go back and see Kay, the owner and all of the wonderful Staff next year!

Yelp
Although not hotel guests we were hoping to return for a dinner...after 18 years. We were welcomed as if long-time friends. Cashel House had just celebrated its 50th anniversary (congrats!) the day before our reservation. Dinner was pure Irish country style and the setting as mentioned in most other reviews is relaxed and memorable. We hope it does not take us another 18 years to get back to this Irish oasis.
