Something a bit different from ancient Roman ruins and Renaissance places, this is a small, interesting and eccentric folly in a pleasant park setting. You have to go to a different building to buy tickets which was unnecessary. It was a little overpriced for the length of visit. It's pretty and the stained glass is nice, but a lot of the original items have been "lost". There are sketches and text descriptions but it feels a bit sparse, particularly the main owl room. If recreations were made so it was more like the original, this would be a more worthwhile visit.
