The butchery and the fresh food place has zero hygiene. The workers there have an attitude when you tell them to clean up or change glove, they will count money with the same glove they serve food with. Absolutely disgusting

The European style supermarket which you can find in Djibouti, and I think this is the only one when we talk about the European style. You can find the Middle Eastern style in other places, but if you would like to get a sense of the ambience of Europe, you need to come here and you can enjoy a wide range of products here. I think it is the best in Djibouti in terms of the variety.

Great place to go and get everything you need with good quality. Most of the products displayed are french brand of standard quality. You may find some high end quality products too. Staffs are warm and courteous. There is even a coffee shop within the premises with succulent drinks and pastries (a must try coffee shop, in Djibouti). In general, prices are a little bit excessive at the supermarket and the coffee shop are a bit excessive.

This Casino has nothing to envy to those who are in France. In fact, walking through the aisles, you would think you were in France. You can find delicatessen, cheeses, fruit and vegetables.
At the entrance, there is also a bakery and a cafeteria. A supermarket worthy of the name, but reserved for a privileged clientele.
Craft fairs are held several times a year in the car park.

As a foreigner it is fairly easy to figure out where things are and they have a nice variety! They do not allow you to use credit or debit on purchases under 1500 DJF, however they have multiple ATMs available near checkout! I was able to find most of the ingredients I needed to bake some vegan cupcakes for a friend's birthday!
