This was probably our tenth or so visit to Mexico, and we were sick and tired of the noisy and crowded resorts - we wanted peace and quiet and listening to the ocean, not disco music and crowded buffets.||First time trying VRBO for us, and we were handsomely rewarded. The penthouse suite had pretty much all we needed - pots, pans, glasses, cups, dishes, cutlery. A lovely 30 minute walk along the beach to get groceries in Puerto Morelos (as well as a fabulous little vegan restaurant - Veggie Veggie), or house-provided bikes for an easy 15-minute ride to town center. Single-speed bikes are great for this flat terrain, and they have baskets and back racks - bring cloth bags!||The suite was very clean, with quality sheets, towels and beach towels provided, and a walk through the back gate has you just a hop to a pristine uncrowded beach. There is a pool for those who enjoy such things - we were there for the ocean. The kitchen held a two-burner gas range, a microwave, a toaster oven, a toaster, a coffee-maker, a blender and a suitably large refrigerator with freezer - all we really needed to prepare simple meals for ourselves. Queen bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious enough. A caretaker was easily available via text. ||We hope to return, although possibly to a lower floor - two flights of stairs with suitcases and then jugs of water is a challenge in the hot sun!||*Very* slight reasons for less-than perfect review: nice large rooftop patio needs *two* comfortable loungers, in place of one and two decrepit woody woven chairs; shelter from sun on patio should be an option (but with wind from sea understandably damage to brollies or awnings might result from careless tourists); a clothesine facility would be so useful (we just wanted two hooks, but settled on | hanging from chairs); lighting: bedside lamps are way too bright, and kitchen lighting too dim, suggest magnet-held under-shelf usb-rechargeable light strips above sink and range, and lower-wattage lamps beside bed. ||Warning to potential guests: beach shade provided by palm trees may result in serious injuries due to falling coconuts. Please be careful.||Hints: salt and pepper provided, might want to consider your favourite spices to bring; bring ground coffee that you love

This was our second time staying at Casita Kin-Ha, the first time being in 2009. The location can't be beat, though we rented a car both times. It's not downtown, so it's extremely quiet and private feeling. The condo has everything we needed to cook and be comfortable without going to town daily. The manager, Susy, is very accessible and helpful, but isn't at all intrusive, which is nice. ||We enjoyed the balcony with hammock and table with chairs. Each evening, we went down to the beach/shore to watch cruise ships go by and the Pelicans hunt.

Our family of four really enjoyed our 10 days at Casita Kin ha. The second-floor, one-bedroom apartment was perfect for us. Our sons (9 and 11) slept on the futon in the living room and there was plenty of room for all of us and our suitcases in this spacious, comfortable apartment. The real standout was the beautiful balcony with a hammock, a table where we ate breakfast everyday and a gorgeous view of the ocean. The beach in front of the house was lovely and our kids had a great time swimming and playing in the sand. The coral reef in front of the house is actually part of a national park so the snorkelling was very good and we'd highly recommend going out with a guide for a morning. We rented a car from the Dreams resort 5 minutes down the beach for our entire stay which made grocery shopping and day trips to Chichen Itza, Coba, and Crococun Zoo very easy. Waling into town along the beach only takes about 25 minutes so the location is really convenient. Suzy (the caretaker) met us when we arrived to hand over the keys and a cell phone and was very helpful when she dropped in every few days to make sure we had everything we needed. We'd be happy to stay here again!

This was perfect accommodation for our 1 week escape...Casita Kin Ha had everything to make our holiday relaxing, peaceful with all the comforts we could wish for. The huge covered deck area with comfy chairs, hammock and dining table and chairs was where we spent lots of time...gorgeous white sand and stunning ocean at our doorstep, cool breezes through the palm trees... Kitchen was very well equipped, bed very comfy, house tastefully decorated and wifi excellent. Bikes were provided and were allowed easy trips to town for brunch, shopping etc. As regular holiday house renters, the equally fabulous (but often lacking)feature of this property was the prom, efficient and very congenial service of Susannah, the manager and Sue the owner. As Mex-newbies, our many questions were always answered promptly and we felt very welcome!...we will be back!

Three of us girls took a trip to Puerto Morelos over Thanksgiving (2010) and had rented the 1 bedroom condo called Casita Kin Ha. Lovely building, and right on the beach. We had everything we needed and then some. We stopped in Cancun at the Superama first to pick up some of our groceries and we met by Suzanna and Francisco the care takers of the condo. They showed us everything, and even gave us a cell phone with preprogramed phone numbers in, that was very useful! The unit itself is very clean and large enough for 4 people. The futon in the livingroom folds down and 2 could sleep there, plus there were two hammocks! It's a very windy and not so good road if you go by cab into town, otherwise you can walk the beach and it's about 35-45 minute walk...depends on if you stop for a cold one along the way at the beach bar. There is a one bedroom unit on the top floor and another 1 bedroom on the ground level, we wre in the middle. We had a blast and would go back here in a blink! If you have any questions let me know and I'd be glad to help.

This is my 6th visit to PMO and I have stayed at different condos or casitas each time. Casita Kin Ha has been by far both the best decorated and equiped to date. I stayed on the one bedroom second floor with a beautiful covered deck well furnished with both lounge units and table and chairs for dining. Everything is well thought out with satellite TV service, internet as well as a provided cell phone with local #'s installed.||A/C availble in the bedroom and ceiling fans throughout. Access directly onto the beach with beach chairs available. Bicycles are also provided to ride to town.||Susie the property manager is very knowledgeable and friendly and also easy to reach. ||The only slight drawback is the distance from town center, a 25 minute walk by the beach and 15 minutes by bike on a winding road. Taxis were never a problem at 50 pesos to town or 80 pesos to Chedraui. This unit is all about peace and quiet.

My husband and I rented the middle condo – the Kin-Ha Suite – for our 10 day holiday and it did not disappoint. It had everything we needed and then some. With a full kitchen you have a choice of cooking in or enjoying one of the many fantastic restaurants in Puerto Morelos. The huge covered deck is a great sanctuary when you are looking for a break from the sun... lounge in the comfy chairs or rest back in the hammock. The suite has Satellite TV and WiFi.

We recently spent five days in the Kin Ha Suite, and enjoyed every minute. The accommodations are simply beautiful, clean and comfortable. We loved the style and layout. My favorite spot was the large front porch that provides a quiet and beautiful environment for reading, writing, conversation, and meals. Our host, Susan, provided some transportation, but the 25 minute walk to the town or a quick taxi were both easy to manage. We will come back.
