We had a wonderful stay of three days at the Casona del Pino in the colonial room, the biggest one in this family hotel. Carlos, the owner, and his team did everything to make us feel at home - from offering us a bottle of wine one evening in front of the fireplace to making breakfast extra early as we had planned an excursion. This authentic, beautiful old adobe hotel renovated and decorated with taste is the best place to stay in Fiamballa. It goes without saying that it’s perfecly clean. We recommend it highly!

Very charming old colonial house, really something extremely special, we could not believe our eyes when first being shown the elegant rooms. It was almost like living and sleeping in a stately home of the 19th century. ||The parlor, the dining room and the other common places like for example a room with a pool table for the use of the guests, were all very stilish and equipped with many original old pieces of lovely furniture. ||||The owner, Carlos, is of equisite politeness and overwhelming friendliness, he really cares about his guests and made us feel at home. He inherited the beautiful property from his ancestors, amidst them a president of Argentina. Carlos bends over backwords to fulfil each desire of his guests. ||||The sleeping rooms all have their own theme and are furnished accordingly. Our theme was the wine, which was expressed in several ways. For example the floor cupboard below our washbasin was an old wine barrel, which I really loved, it was so fancy.||||The location of Casona del Pino is excellent: very close to the center of Fiambala and to good restaurants, but totally quiet at night and surrounded by big olive trees giving shade. We had a very good sleep and an excellent breakfast the next morning with home baked bread.

What a great place to stay! With my family we stayed just for a night, but we did like the place. It's a charming house, with lovely staff, and a feeling of being home away from home! It's also well located for a visit to the Termas. Breakfast is also nice and price is fair.Worth of a longer stay next time!

The magnificent owner (Carlos) arranged for a member of his magnificent staff (Carola) to open the property for us on a holiday where the entire house was closed, so that we could arrive a day early and stay two nights. What service! ||||Fiambalá is not the most tourist-friendly of towns, despite its stellar bunch of tourist attractions. Casona del Pino is a hotel that wouldn't be out of place in Buenos Aires or Cordoba, but in the middle of a tiny frontier town. ||||It's very clear the owners and staff care deeply about the property, and keep it in a state of maintenance that honors its storied past. Last but not least, breakfast (the homemade bread...mmm) was excellent and always personalized by Carola's attention.

Found this little gem by coincidence. If you want to live like the grandparents in an authentic old town house you‘ll love this place! The staff is super friendly and helpful and in the evening you smell the fresh baked bread and cake for next day‘s breakfast. Go for a day trip to the termas when you‘re in town. Relax and enjoy!

We stayed one night. Had a very nice room and we got the rest we needed. This is a historic landmark in Fiambala. The furniture in living room and other areas of this adobe hotel are amazing. Owner very helpful. We had no wifi because of a huge sandstorm and following morning we were leaving very early so he charged us half the price.!!! Please when visiting Fiambala can not miss this place

Just spent 3 nights at Casona del Pino while hiking and sightseeing in this province. The owner/manager was extremely gracious and accommodating, going well beyond what was necessary. Comfortable beds and rooms for relaxing after a day's hike.

Drove here from Chile, over The High pass. Our tour guide who was carrying all of our luggage got stuck at the border. Carlos, the owner of this hotel, could not have been more helpful. He gave us a ride to a wonderful dinner spot, called his contacts with the government to try to help with our guide at the border (and luggage!) and arranged for Driver to help us the following day. He did all of this 11 o'clock at night! Phenomenal guy, lovely hotel, would stay there again in a heartbeat!
