Very happy with our stay at Casona. Location was very central to the main plaza and bars and restaurants. Friendly staff and fast wifi. Loved the terrace with views of Misti Volcano

On my way to Cotahuasi and Colca canyons, this was where I stayed. A couple of months before the visit, I contacted them and responses were prompt, respectful and clear. Booking done without CC upon trust- which is unusual these days. They also arranged for a taxi that I paid for separately. Upon arrival, staff was exceedingly courteous and helpful. Room on 4F was clean, tidy and had all the essential amenities. Bed and BR was all clean, and comfortable. |Checked out at 4 AM to drive to Cotahuasi, and 7 days later came back- and they were again, tremendously helpful and courteous and friendly. Same room. I got a lot of input for places to eat local food (cyue etc) and where to go shopping, and how to identify alpaca wool. |This was one of the most pleasant stays of my travels- just because the staff was so so incredibly kind and wonderful.

The place is mediocre, nothing stands out. The lack of parking is a problem if you travel by car and an additional cost to take into account. The breakfast is very basic although people make an effort to attend in a good way. The rooms are also basic and do not have a Smart TV, although there is a good internet signal in the room. I got a room overlooking the street and noise was a problem. From the upper terrace you can see the three volcanoes well.

Amazing hotel and the best hotel during our 2 month trip in Peru. Buffet breakfast, great price / value rooms and services, the staff takes your interest as priority. The view from the rooftop is the cherry on top the cake, just great views Quiet rooms and no disturbances, daily room cleaning, the restaurant next to the hotel isn’t associated with them but served the best lunch menus you can find. Highly recommended!

This was a charming, super-quiet hotel very close to the main square. We arrived early in the morning, and they allowed us to check in right away. Which was great because one of us was very sick with a 24 hour flu. We had a twin bed room on the top floor, and the beds were firm, very clean, and comfortable. ||||There was a tv, no safe, one open closet, desk, plenty of space. The bathroom was huge, and the water pressure/temperature were great.||||Breakfast was included and ok. They can prepare eggs for you. There is otherwise a selection of bread (some sweet), preserves, some fruit, tea/coffee, juice (from a box).||||The reception staff are super friendly and helpful!||||There is an elevator so you don't have to walk up the stairs.||||They have laundry service, which was good and reasonably priced. Although there are laundromats nearby if you prefer.||||The rooftop terraces are great and offer nice views of the city.

A beautiful and serene place to relax for a few days. It is really close ti the plaza de Armas with lots of restaurants, bars and shopping. The space is clean with a cute restaurant that makes a great lunch for only S11. We walked several times two blocks to the market to purchase fresh fruits. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming and even went the extra mile to make sure that we were comfortable.

We spent 2 nights here before and after trip to Colca Canyon. Safely kept some of our luggage while we were away. Great central location close to Plaza des Armes. Quiet.|Staff very helpful ,room average size but comfortable. Nice terrace. Breakfast buffet very good.

Clean, comfortable rooms but be warned this place is noisy.||The rooms are located around a vertical light well and terrace. The slightest sound of people talking on ground floor terrace and luggage being dragged around at 3am will echo throughout the building. All rooms are connected by a steel staircase and the sound of cleaners and guests trampling up and down at all hours of the night and early morning will keep you awake.||During our stay a group of men were drinking on the ground floor terrace at 0100 hours. We politely asked the front desk to ask them to keep the noise down and we were told don't worry they will go to bed soon. ||Other than that its a good hotel.
