Beautiful place, and very nice service.
(Read full review for an update below). Everything is fine until you see the menu, very limited choice, especially if you are not particularly interested in Spanish Tapas.
I took the Nasi Goreng and my girlfriend took the salad nicoise. We have traveled for the last few weeks through Indonesia and Nasi Goreng is my favorite dish. But here the Nasi Goreng was the most boring one, nothing in there, no vegetables, no herbs, only a lost shrimp. Just rice with some soya sauce, and an egg, a chicken leg and a skewer with some meat. Not a small cup with chili or vegetables on the side, no peanut sauce, really really basic.
The salad was made with iceberg lettuce and for my girlfriend it seemed that the tuna came from a can, very basic. So overall much to improve. It's a real shame as the location is so unique, it's a miss that the chef and menu don't match it.
Update Sept 23: Sebastian and Melissa from the hotel reached out and explained that the Spanish chef was just two weeks in. They really took the time to talk with us and listened to our feedback & suggestions. They will change the menu soon, really impressed with how management immediately took our feedback to improve!
