The setting is charming, with an inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxed meal or a casual get-together.
However, while the surroundings are delightful, the food leaves much to be desired. I would describe it as mediocre at best, lacking the quality and flavor one might expect given the prices on the menu. Unfortunately, for the cost, which amounted to €72,50 for two entrees, a salad, a crème brûlée, two bottles of water, and one glass of wine, the value simply wasn’t there.
Moreover, the service we received was far from professional. Our server did not check in with us during our meal, nor did they inquire if we would like to order additional drinks, which contributed to a rather lackluster dining experience.
In summary, while Cassai Café und Bar boasts a lovely location and a nice ambiance, it falls short in both food quality and service. For the price point, I find it hard to recommend unless there are improvements in these areas.
