A quiet evening in Ses Salines at Cassai. The ambiance is nice, with a blend of old and new and plenty of lights at night. My wife had a plate of different Tapas - fried calamari, roasted peppers, jambon on local bread, etc. She said it was OK, not great. She did enjoy her Sangria, though. I had the pork surprise, and it was definitely the better choice. Succulent with a salty crispy exterior, served with an excellent aubergine vegrtable dish, garlic mashed potatoes and an aoli sauce. The flavours blended well and the house red offset the whole dish nicely. We finished with the flan (creme brulee, but lightly warmed with a blow torch at the table). Nice flavour again, but not quite fully defrosted. Service was attentive. So not a bad experience, and worth a visit of in the areas
