Stopped by Casse-Croûte du Quai – Zultra Bouffe and tried their medium poutine. Given the remote location, I had high hopes for a hidden gem-style experience. While the poutine was decent—crispy fries, warm gravy, and squeaky cheese curds—it didn’t quite deliver the wow factor I was expecting.
The setting has that classic roadside charm, and it’s a convenient stop if you’re passing through. But if you're chasing a truly memorable poutine, this one might not be the standout you're looking for.
However It offers a stunning view of the mountains, especially vibrant with the rich hues of fall foliage.
