Cassia Cottage Resort & Spa

10/10 would come back. The place has exceeded my expectations- location with beach front, rooms very clean and designed with a user in mind (eg reading lights in bed, lots of windows in room to appreciate nature but with blinds when needed). Although we came in a super wet weekend, was great experience. Spa was good , service staff very lovely and helpful. Only thing is it’s set back from main road, so would need a car to get out (can walk but in rain and at night, I would rather not). Restaurant food was awesome !

The hotel is in a fantastic location with beautiful grounds, amazing staff, and great food. Everything was well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming. One important note: be cautious with the tap water. My wife avoided it while I drank some and ended up getting sick — we shared everything else, so this was the only difference. Other guests mentioned similar experiences. The signs say the water is safe, but they may be outdated. Rain can impact groundwater, possibly affecting water quality. That aside, it’s a wonderful place to stay. Just stick to bottled water and enjoy everything else this great hotel has to offer.

We were a family of 4 adults and 2 kids and enjoyed a fantastic 7 night stay at Cassia Cottage. Our Modern Deluxe Rooms (151-153) on the second floor were perfect. Two of the rooms with connecting doors made it ideal for the children. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Four poster beds had mosquito netting in case any made there way into the room. Our breakfast was included and the choices substantial. Both Asian and Western choices. Staff are attentive and friendly. Restaurant menus for drinks and food are very reasonable and we ate in the resort on 3 days. It was the rainy season so it was wet a couple of nights. Only short heavy showers but enough to convince us the hotel was best choice for dinner. Three pools at the resort but the largest in front of the restaurant was most popular. More than enough sun loungers with the pool guy quick to ensure you had mattress and your umbrella was up/down. Happy hour was popular daily with 2 for 1 drinks. Beach not great in the rainy season with fairly large waves and red flag recommending no swimming. This didn't spoil our stay. The hotels a 5 minute walk from the main road and there are a couple of good restaurants on that lane. Tweets Kitchen is recommended. Also before reaching the main road is a great wee convenience shop. The prices are unbelievably cheap to us westerners. Credit cards were accepted almost everywhere including the convenience store so don't worry too much if you don't have cash. Grab taxi app is also essential here. Fares so cheap and if you add a card to your account they're paid automatically. Another bonus is the proximity to the airport. Only 15 minutes in taxi. Thank you Cassia Cottage, we loved you.

The hotel room was exceptionally clean and had a charming, cottage-style design that made the stay feel cozy and unique. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always greeted us with genuine smiles, which made us feel right at home. One staff member who truly stood out was Ms. Nha, the Guest Relations Officer. She was incredibly friendly and attentive, regularly checking in with us to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied with our stay. From the well-maintained facilities to the serene private beach and beautifully styled rooms, everything about this place was top-tier. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and unforgettable, a perfect getaway. Highly recommended!

Well, the best cottage resort in the center of the island and near Airport as well. The best part about the cottage was their service to everyone. We were a group of 14 members staying there and we just loved the staff behaviour. We being Indian and Pure vegetarian, had overall issues in finding food, but the cottage somehow managed to prepare a Vegetarian Indian dish specially for us so that we don't face any issue. And also we had some ready to eat with us for some evening snacks and we just had to warm it up a little bit so they let us use their kitchen equipment as well as their induction. So in the End i would just like to say that if you wish to take a stay in the central city, Cassia cottage would be the best. The staff their helps you in every possible way and that too as fast they can.

I stayed here mid April 2025. This hotel is fantastic from every angle. It is right on a lovely stretch of beach but 5 mins walk from the main road and so quiet.|Rooms are large and airy with high ceilings and a nice balcony/porch. The restaurant is rightly the best on the island and the food excellent. There are 3 pools and beds/hammocks in the gardens and beach with the beach bar also being great with a happy hour and music on occasion. My wife used the yoga classes and really liked it with Rita the hotel manager leading.|The big bonus here was the staff. They were all professional and helpful and would go the extra mile every day to make your holiday great.|All the staff deserve a mention but Dung in the beach bar, Nha and the "the little angel" in the restaurant were superb.|Customer service is generally very good in Vietnam but staff here were exceptional.

We loved our stay at Cassia Cottage resort. The place is a jewel with a superb garden where snails, butterflies, birds live in harmony. You feel immersed in this green atmosphere. We had a Deluxe King room on the first floor, with a garden view and balcony, it was relaxing & peaceful. The bed is comfortable (very good mattress), the bedroom well decorated and furnished with all you need. The restaurant offers a diversity of meals, the breakfast is the best we had in Phu Quoc ! There is a stunning swimming pool near the restaurant, border to the private beach. A cute little Bar (Malabar) is nearby and offers happy hours and an astonishing view of the sunset. Thanks to NHA and her team who was always so kind, professional and took good care of us.

Four years ago, my husband and I were stuck on this island and ended up staying at Cassia Cottage for 3.5 months due to the pandemic. Along with many other tourists and the amazing staff, we formed a community, almost like a family, and called this place home. This time, I returned with my parents as I wanted to show them where I had “lived” for those unforgettable months. As the staff wrote in their welcome email, “Welcome home!” I truly felt like I had come home. Cassia has remained a calm oasis, a natural escape, and a welcoming place with excellent service. The staff at the front desk, in the restaurant, and those working in maintenance and housekeeping may be new faces to me, but they were just as wonderful, caring, and welcoming as I remember from my first stay. It was my parents’ first time here, and they were thoroughly impressed. I had hoped to see Mark, the owner, in person to thank him for creating a place that so many of us, who call ourselves the Cassia Crew, consider one of the most memorable parts of our lives. Maybe next time? A heartfelt thank you to Phượng, Sao, and Tuấn Anh. I was so happy to see you again and reminisce about our time together. Thank you Minh for your warmth and kindness (and for saving our clothes from the rain!) Thank you Nhã, Quốc, Ven, and Hiền for checking on us every morning to make sure we were enjoying our stay.
