Cassia Cottage Resort & Spa Phu Quoc

A beautiful and quiet resort with a lot of hidden places to sit in front of the pool or the sea. At the time we stayed, there were no children in the hotel so the atmosphere was so relaxing. Breakfast is excelent with wide veriaty. We also ate twice at the Spice House restaurant which was exceptional. The hotel offers daily complementary yoga class that we loved. The large sea view delux room was beautiful, spacious and with a direct view to the sea and pool. We also really loved the outside shower.

The most amazingly wonderful resort! Just returned home today from phu quok and we are missing you already! Mark and his team are amazing, attention to detail, kindness, warmth and hospitality are 5 star. Special shout out to Maria, the yoga instructor, yoga was a perfect start to the day, available to anyone at any level. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped with everything you could want. The pools are clean and well maintained. Loved the happy hours at Malaba right on the beach front. Breakfast was amazing, loved that they catered for all, loved the egg station and wow, their homemade bread and sauces are amazing. We ate at the hotel restaurant on the last night and we were amazed by the culinary delights they offered, we'll worth it, there was a small band playing while dining which was the icing on the cake. We booked through the hotel directly, this is by far the best and cheapest way to go and included airport transfers. The location is excellent, tucked away down a little road off the main street, there are plenty of restaurants and mini markets within 5 minutes walk. I stayed for 5 nights of a 2 week Vietnam tour with the intention of relaxing and spending time in the spa. The hotel is lovely with an easy, relaxed atmosphere and a very welcoming staff who give the hotel its wonderful informal family vibe. |The restaurant has both local and international cuisines and although expensive compared to places outside of the resort, the quality is well the extra cost. The beach bar, the Malabar, seemed quiet and a bit soulless but maybe that is due to the low season. |I visited the hotel spa twice and had wonderful treatments by 2 wonderful, well trained lady masseuses. Top notch, thank you|A lovely stay and will recommendation for anybody visiting Phu Quo

Cassia Cottage is not at all like its name suggests, it is a beautiful resort with rooms scattered throughout a very lovely, well maintained garden. The atmosphere was relaxed and soothing. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was excellent, with a lot of the food made in house, like the yoghurt, croissants and wonderful sourdough bread at the delicious breakfast. The rooms were large and very comfortable, although our bathroom could do with a little updating. The resort has a lovely large pool overlooking the beautiful beach and the Sunset bar, by the beach has live music during Happy Hour every evening. The most special thing about Cassia Cottage is the staff, they were wonderful, so willing to help and the friendliest staff you could find. I have to say that Duc & Nie were standouts but so were all the others, especially the Barrister, making perfect coffees. We loved our stay, thanks everyone at Cassia Cottage, Phu Quoc.

An absolutely amazing place to stay — with everything at your fingertips. Pools, spa, gym, and restaurant — all just steps from the beach. From the moment that you are greeted by the lovely Na in reception who is kind and gentle. Everything is spotless and beautifully maintained (and I have high standards!). The Catholic Church is 15 minutes drive away and is a beautiful place to visit too. I unfortunately became unwell during my stay, and the staff were truly tremendous — kind, caring, and incredibly attentive. A special thank you to Duc, Huyen, Quoc Thea and Mta for their outstanding support and genuine kindness throughout my recovery. The restaurant is a culinary delight, offering a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary dishes. The architecture feels like stepping onto a 1950s Casablanca movie set, seamlessly combined with modern comforts. We ended up extending our stay by three extra nights and wished we had come here first instead of spending eight days elsewhere. True leadership is reflected in the owner, Mark, who personally greets and chats with guests, offering advice, support, and ensuring everyone is happy. A truly exceptional experience in every way.

We loved Cassia Cottage so much that our three-night stay quickly turned into five! We even changed our flights and forfeited our next hotel booking — and it was absolutely worth it. The resort is tucked away down a narrow lane, but don’t let that put you off. Once you arrive, you’re welcomed into a tranquil, tropical oasis that feels worlds away from the bustle, yet is still just a short stroll from the main strip of shops and restaurants. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive. I speak Vietnamese, but my partner doesn’t, and the team communicated perfectly in both languages. We especially enjoyed chatting with Tham, who shared wonderful local insights and fishing tips. We’ve recently taken up fishing back home, so it was great to connect over that. We hope to catch up with him again next time! The on-site restaurant, The Spice House, serves a delicious mix of local and Western dishes. Both the à la carte meals and the breakfast buffet were fantastic; fresh, flavourful, and thoughtfully prepared with options for all dietary needs. We also loved The Malabar, the resort’s beachfront bar. Their happy hour became a daily ritual for us 😁 the cocktails were exceptional, the spirits top-quality, and the bartenders highly skilled. The pool and beach areas were spotless and so inviting. The staff were always happy to set up sunbeds and umbrellas for us right by the water. The beach itself is clean, calm, and perfect for swimming; we went in every day! Our room was spacious and comfortable, with super comfortable beds. Even on rainy days, we enjoyed relaxing indoors, watching the rain fall over the lush tropical gardens outside. While exploring the island, we passed by other resorts, but none had the same warmth or personal touch as Cassia Cottage. Some days, we didn’t even leave the property because it was just that peaceful and enjoyable. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to return to Phu Quoc — and we’ll be heading straight back to Cassia Cottage when we do! 🥰

Our stay at Cassia Cottage was truly special and deeply memorable, mainly thanks to the extraordinary people who work here. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The reception team was incredibly kind, attentive and helpful. We travelled with two young children (2 and 3 years old) and stayed for three weeks during the holiday season. Every time we needed something.. extra help, flexibility, or small adaptations for our children. the staff went above and beyond to assist us, always with warmth and sincerity. A very special thank you to Nha and Quoc for their kindness, patience and genuine care made a huge difference in our stay. Our children quickly became attached to them, and that says everything. Even when they were busy, they always took the time to truly listen and find solutions. We spent most of our days at the pool and beach, where the staff were consistently friendly, attentive and incredibly sweet with our children. There is a beautiful sense of teamwork throughout the entire hotel. everyone helps each other, and that creates a smooth, peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant team was wonderful with our children, who are not the easiest eaters. They took the time to adapt meals, and after a while even remembered our children’s habits without us asking. The spa was also excellent: spotless, professional and deeply relaxing. What touched us most was the genuine human warmth everywhere.. smiles, small conversations, laughter with our children. Cassia Cottage feels like a hotel of a higher standard while remaining personal and heartfelt. It is not a chain, and you really feel that. Spacious yet intimate, calm yet full of soul. Perfect for a real family holiday, away from crowds. Our room was always impeccably clean and well cared for. We truly have nothing negative to say. This place and its people will stay in our hearts. Thank you to the entire Cassia Cottage team! you made us feel at home. We will definitely return.
