Cassie Campbell Community Centre

Was a nice little room to host a small event. Only thing was I would suggest they give us more than 20 mins to set up. We had guest walking in while we were still setting up the room. Just wished we had more time.

One of the best community centers in the Brampton area with many options for classes & workout programs for all ages. Multiple Change rooms with cleanliness as the basic concept.Felt like an elevated gym just because of how clean it was. Staff was kind and helpful as well!! The fitness centre has a track going around the workout area. Overall the area is small in comparison to others like Gore Meadows. No dedicated or isolated place for stretching/ mats, and not able to use studios outside of classes. Would be great to have a small area so people can stretch. Lot of outdoor activities, i.e. cricket ground, hockey ground, basketball etc. Large parking lot. Overall a nice community centre!

Overall, Cassie Campbell Community Centre is a very good facility with plenty of amenities and a welcoming environment. However, the fitness centre is where the experience falls short. The indoor track is clearly marked with directions for walking and running, yet almost every visit I encounter people going the wrong way. Instead of moving aside, they often block the path, forcing those of us power walking in the correct direction to stop abruptly or go around them. The gym equipment area has also become more of a social hangout, with groups hoarding machines and chatting. At times, they suddenly step backwards onto the track, nearly causing collisions. Some even use their size or group presence to avoid moving aside, creating an atmosphere that feels inconsiderate and unsafe. What’s most disappointing is that staff are sometimes nearby but don’t intervene, even when these issues are obvious. A little monitoring and enforcement would go a long way in ensuring the fitness centre is used respectfully and safely by everyone. I truly hope management takes steps to address this, because the rest of the facility is excellent and deserves to be matched by a well-run fitness centre.

Would be nice to know when sauna and hot tub is not working. Since last week women sauna was out of service beacuase someone left their aid buds or ipod in the sauna and created a fire. This week their hot tub is out of service. Would be nice if they could post something about the service of their availibility. Why are individuals paying for memberships for these items to be aviliable to them. A complete wast of gas and membership fees without any compensation.

I recently enrolled my daughters in swimming lessons at the Cassie Campbell Community Centre, which gave me a good look at its operations. My overall experience was average, with some significant positives and drawbacks. The main challenge is the extreme crowding, especially during morning sessions. The high demand means the pools are very busy, which results in less space and practice time for each child. This significantly impacts the quality of the lessons. This leads to the second issue: program registration. Signing up for popular programs like swimming is highly competitive. Sessions fill up almost instantly, often leaving us stranded on a waiting list and forced to look for programs at other, recreation centres. The registration system seems to prioritize residents from the immediate community. Regarding the gym facility, it is nice and spacious with good equipment. However, I have a crucial suggestion for improvement: employ 1-2 trainers to be available throughout the day. Many people are new to using the machines and are at risk of injury without proper guidance. Having staff present to monitor, assist, and instruct would greatly improve safety and the overall member experience. In summary, while the centre itself has modern and spacious facilities.

I have been a regular to this place and find people using the facility are so much uncivilized in the sense that they will make groups and stay in the middle blocking the movements of other people to enjoy even normal walking. People need this place for their healthy well being but you pass that eatery shop and you can get that foul smell of oil. Kids from nearby school frequent the place and throw their French fries and all unhealthy food on the floor and nobody bothers to have the civic sense of cleaning the floors. Students take the floors near the eatery and make it all messy place. Why the city has allowed the selling of health harmful food to be sold in a place where health is the main concern of the city authorities for such a facilities. It is all disorderly place. I hope authorities will do something to bring better order to the place.

Hello, While classes are varied and the instructors are excellent, I must say that maintenance in the men’s changing rooms are very low quality, especially since September 2025. It is not safe to walk into the exercise area or the fitness studio with wet shoes; the question is how can it be avoided if someone needs to use the urinals and there is always water sitting on the floor. It has become a habit for a number of people to shave and leave hair all over the sinks. When this was brought to the Amin team, they assured me they would put up signs and control the situation. Well, nothing has happened so far. The washrooms and showers area are permanently dirty; the walls are stained from all the mosquitos killed, no cleaning has been completed; there is water sitting in areas that used to be kept dry up to July 2025: what happened? Why are these areas not being cleaned like before? See some pictures of what I am describing. Hope this can help focus on areas that require improvement. Regards, D Pardo

I went there for the first time in several years. I found the customer service to be good- friendly staff and fast delivery of services. Fitness centre is clean and so is the female change room.

Still a wonderful facility, but their check in and registration is a complete joke and it's normal to wait 10 minutes or more just to pay for drop in swimming. No separate lines organized for people registering for programs, vs those who are just in for a drop in. It's normal for all staff to be occupied with mothers who are deciding on which sports programs to enrol their family in.

Cassie Campbell, or better known as the Wellness Centre's twin. The reason I say that is because the layout for both of them is basically identical. However, perhaps because it is newer, Cassie Campbell is a little nicer. What I like about it is the giant glass walls that allow you to see outside. It really makes the place seem bigger and non-claustorphobic. The layout of the gym consists of all the workout equipment in the centre, and a track circling around, with the corners available for stretching exercises. Basically every piece of equipment one could need is here, and then some. The membership fees are reasonable. I bought a month pass which is only $40 if you are a student, otherwise its closer to $50. For a one time pass it's $7 for a student and closer to $10 if you are not a student. There are also a lot of other activities and classes since it's a community centre; however, I can only comment on the gym part since that's all I really used. If you are looking for a place to workout, I recommend at least trying out this gym, you might end up loving it. Warning, depending on which side you come from on Chinguacousy you may have to pull a U-Turn to get inside the parking lot lol. . . but bonus though, if you buy a pass to any Brampton city gym, you gain access to all their gyms.

They are a huge facility. They are clean and very well run. There are two hockey rinks, baseball court, a world class gymnasium, the locker rooms are equipped with hot tub and sauna. The only change I would like is for them to stay open longer on the weekends.

Cassie Campbell is one of the community centers I have visited. The facility has indoor and outdoor activities to participate in. The fitness exercise gym has many exercises and workout machines to help burn out the calories. The swimming pool is large and has a great slide to cool off after a nice workout. The sports gym is large and contains many equipment for various games/sports to play. Outdoors, there is a large tennis court to enjoy and a soccer field to play the best game ever. Membership and fees are reasonable, with adults at $50.10 in a month and $429.40 per year. Overall, this community center is great for both families and individuals looking to exercise or to have fun. I would recommend Cassie Campbell to everyone.

Located in the sprawling suburb of Brampton this community centre is a great place for anyone that is interested in being active from young and old alike. There is a massive swimming pool, with a very large slide, kids pool and lanes dedicated for proper cardio swim. There is also a hockey rink, a figure skating rink, basketball courts and a very large gym with a track. The gym does get busy after work hours but its a good crowd. The only thing missing in my opinion is an indoor soccer field, however a short jaunt down sandlewood and you will find a huge indoor soccer complex on the corner of Dixie rd. Enjoy.

Nice facility but very dirty.Garbage cans are always full ,floor is never washed,litter on floors, never swept,ring around hot tub,sauna has black wood finstead of cedar color,snow is never plowed/shovelled until days later(it usually melts first).They just throw some sand on it.The sand gets tracked in from the parking lot 100 feet away all the way to the locker room floor cause it is never swept or washed.The sand ends up in the jacuzzi and sauna. They always have 3 maintenance guys walking around (that run the zamboni) and they have about 8 lifeguards on duty (sitting around talking),They have 3 people behind the front desk and gym personnel like crazy -but you won't see any janitor because nothing gets cleaned!! Tons of employees and managers but no maids in sight! The kids from the school next door are a big problem also , they hang around the hallways and make a mess until the police kick them out.The police have a substation there onsite which is good. This is the best community center in Brampton- too bad its not cleaned up.

Great place for recreational activities. New and fresh equipments and ambiance. Variety of classes and training available.
