Cast Away Beach Bar Curacao

We have been to Curacao twice, and both times we would get a table here and swim/snorkel in between our food. The smoothies are fresh and natural (sugar-free). Please note that the bar included a 10% service charge on the bill (we didn’t realize that until we got the receipt, but they deserve extra tips anyway). The tuna poke bowl was surprisingly tasty and fresh as well. Highly recommended!

We didn’t plan on dining here but after our 2 plus hour hike at Shete Boca National Park we were hot and hungry . We were there at 1 o’clock on a Monday , It was not crowded . We both ordered the shrimp poke bowl and it was fresh and delicious . The service was laid back it took a while for the sever to take our order but once we ordered it was all good. The beach is rocky I took a swim and did not snorkel here but others said the snorkeling was good .

Good place for lunch. We came at 2:30, when most people have eaten and it was not crowded. The srvice was faster than wd expected, we haven't waited more than 20 min for the food. The food is not spectacutal, but nothing to complain about. Prices are decent for a beach place, we paix about $45 for for our chicken wings, shrimps, fried plantains, a beer and a soft drink.

the restaurant looks really nice with a great view and the service was fine, but many dishes from the menu were not available. i would not have lunch here (go to playa beach club instead) and only go here for drinks or snacks.

We’ve been here twice. The food exceeded my expectations and was delicious! I did have a burger that was not very good but the manager came out to address the issue. I don’t normally complain because I understand that things can be hit or miss. However, he explained that they were experimenting and didn’t get it right. He asked if I would like something else, if I’d like it removed from the bill and really made the effort to compensate. I honestly wasn’t asking and just wanted them to know for their own sake. That was extremely professional and genuine, and unexpected! So, great job and I’m sure that you guys will succeed!

Terrible experience. The supervisor, Marcos, was rude and dismissive, especially toward female guests. The attitude and lack of professionalism ruined what could have been a nice visit. Management should seriously reconsider who represents their business. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for respectful service.

We shared a box with 4 chicken wings, 4 cheese croquettes and ring onions, plus a small hamburger. The food is quite simple, but you can take a shower before eating and go to the bathroom. The location is awesome, close to Playa Kalki.

Spend a lot of money on drinks and snack food but when I wanted to use the restroom they made me pay 2 guilders. Come people that is not nice. Other than that it is a nice newly build place with a deck overlooking the ocean.
