Castel Beau Site

Hotel located on seafront with views across the beach and bay of Perros-Guirec. It was off season but the weather was exceptional and the hotel so idyllic, we immediately booked a second night on arrival. Important to book parking at rear of hotel, especially during high season. Hotel staff were exceptional throughout and the rooms are airy and modern with a seaside twist. There is also an exceptional standard fine dining restaurant within the hotel. Great coastal walks from the hotel. Overall an excellent experience and stay. Highly recommended

A beautiful location, service, staff, room, menus etc all excellent BUT, if this hotel operated in UK, I would not be surprised if a formal complaint or legal action by a disabled customer had not happened already. I am disabled, cant walk up stairs - from street level to the foyer, there was no ramp, I had to hold onto a sign to lever myself up to the first landing and, with luggage, gaining access to reception was challenging. Had I been a wheelchair user I have no idea how I would have managed as the small lift from car park, presumably meant for wheelchair users (no sign )was out of order during the 4 days I was resident. Management needs to sort this asap as it spoils an otherwise very positive experience.

Wonderful service, beautiful hotel and rooms and spectacular location. After breakfast we took a 3 mile loop hike around the area. Tonight we will be having dinner here. Would come back here again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely exceptional in every way - staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Food and service was A1. We stayed for four nights to attend a friends wedding from Australia and had a fabulous time. Just soooo very beautiful in every way.

Very disappointing stay unfortunately. I would have rated this hotel two stars were it not for the view and the friendly staff in the bar. Its quite sad that the rest of the staff we encountered at reception and in the restaurant (at breakfast) maintained a frosty, unhelpful and generally indifferent attitude. Our room was infested with insects after our first night having left the window open, on the second night we called down for a fan to avoid the same insect issue as the night before, the guy on the front desk simply said no and ended the call, unfortunately this poor level of service set the scene for the rest of our stay.||The rooms are very small but functionary for the most part, definitely not luxurious but the views are incredible. The coastline is one of the most beautiful I've seen in France, we just wished we'd stayed at a different hotel..||On two of the mornings I was served microwaved eggs - it was unforgivable in such an expensive establishment. On the last morning the waiter came over and again said 'be careful the plate is hot' but the eggs were grey and cold. The plate been reheated, thus the bowl being hot but the eggs were cold - completely unacceptable. After not being able to make eye contact with any member of staff I got up and walked to the kitchen entrance - the waiter immediately knew what my complaint was and said no problem 'fresh, fresh'. Totally indicating that a lot of the breakfast is reheated.||In summary having spent 5 days there, I would say that the magic of this hotel ends after the first night. Spending more than two nights there the cracks in service etc become evident very quickly. Such a shame as we were planning to try some of the other HB Collection hotels, but our experience has sullied our view of this hotel brand.

This hotel is stunning and probably the best location we’ve ever been. The pink granite coast is simply beautiful and the position of the hotel couldn’t be any better, the tide comes in and out daily, revealing an amazing landscape/sunset/vista. It also benefits from being at the end of the road, so there is no passing traffic, consequently, it’s beautifully peaceful as well – the best of all worlds. We ate at the hotel on one evening (it’s expensive, but the tastes are incredible) and had breakfast every day…..again, as good as we’ve ever had anywhere, if not better. On one of the days we were there, there was a film crew, filming, an advert, and on another, a bride, and her entourage were being photographed on the beach. It’s obviously a very popular location, but despite that not overly busy at all.

A superb 2 night stay in this perfectly situated classic hotel. Even though the exterior looks classic the interior upgrades were modern and thoughtful. The shower? The best we've had in weeks in France. The view, beautiful (see pictures) the breakfast is hearty and of high quality. And the added bonus is the staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. This was such a lovely respite on our journey through Northern France.

Beautiful hotel in great location. This was a very nice introduction to our first trip to Brittany (we will be back for sure). The staff were very friendly and helpful (it was a pleasant surprise to meet one of the staff at reception who is also Canadian and from Alberta!). Our room overlooking the bay was clean, a good size and excellent overall. Having traveled through a great deal of Europe and staying hotels with limited or no parking, it was also a nice bonus to have onsite parking. We stayed 3 nights and had one dinner and breakfast every morning and found the food to be excellent as well. Perros-Guirec is a beautiful place to visit and this would be the place to stay in our opinion with great walking trails, shops and a few restaurants in the general area. Loved it and hope to go back some day!

Beautiful hotel in an amazing location. The hotel is situated right on the beach and has some beautiful coastal walking trails that extend for miles. No hotel gym, but just pack some shoes and explore the trails. Definitely plan on breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Food here was the best I had in France. Everything was extremely fresh, presentation was immaculate, and they offer a sommelier experience, where a different glass of paired wine is brought out with each of the three courses. The breakfast buffet includes a nice spread of yogurts, cheeses, fruits, nuts, crepes, pastries, and is served with fresh squeezed juice. I'd love to return to this place!
