Castel Durocher

I had to visit Montreal for a last minute business trip. This place was recommended to me. I am so glad I chose to stay here! For the price of a hotel, I had a gorgeous apartment suite that was spacious and full of charm and beautifully decorated. A colleague saw the inside of the apartment and remarked that he wished he had booked Castel Durocher instead of his hotel room too. Everything inside was spotlessly clean, and the extra touches of the flowers on the table, fresh pastries on the counter, the samples of handmade Belgian chocolates, and the cheese sampler in the fridge made me feel like I was being hosted by long-lost family. Sandrine and Vincent were both lovely and made it very easy for me to arrange my booking and coordinate check in and check out. There was a bit of street noise at night from groups of revelers talking loudly outside which I suppose is to be expected in a university district, but the bedroom is at the back of the apartment and the interior doors are solid wood which provides a fairly effective sound barrier. I slept very well both nights I was there, despite suffering from jet lag. I now recommend this place to all my friends whenever I hear of someone visiting Montreal. I hope that I can return one day when I am not on a business trip so that I can enjoy more of the sights and foods of the city, and more of Castel Durocher's delicious chocolate!

During summer holiday we stayed with Vincent and Sandrine. They are such nice and welcoming hosts! The appartement is truly a little palace between McGill, Mont Royal and the old centre. But if you do not want to go out you can stay at home and enjoy the lovely garden. Sandrine is very nice and a Lovely, warm persoon. She thinks along with her guest and makes sure that they have a pleasurable stay. I can definitely recommend a stay in this very nice place!

I stayed 7 days in the Grand Suite at Castel Durocher for a business trip. It was incredible and affordable. It's not just a room but an entire apartment -- kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom, and outdoor area with it's own entrance. It's right near McGill and is walking distance to downtown, the Plateau, and Mont Royal. It is also right near a Bixi bike stop, the bike share program. They also had parking options available although I didn't need it. The owners are incredibly accommodating. They are also artists and Belgium chocolate makers from Belgium. That means that the apartment was well decorated and stocked with chocolate! The apartment was cleaned daily and they left soothing classical music on for when I got home. Kitchen was stocked with fresh fruit, brie cheese, coffee, tea, yogurt, juice, milk, all cooking essentials (oil, salt, pans, etc) and best of all they left fresh baguettes and/or croissants/pastries/bagels for me everyday It was so comfortable and felt almost like home. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Montreal -- great for business travel, families, etc. Thanks Vincent and Sandrine for a great stay -- this will be my go to rental for all future visits to Montreal!

This place is very good and I loved the service come here if you wanna be chill and have some good people around you

Incubo ragni e millepiedi grandissimi in tutta la casa sporco muffa polvere nei letti e ovunque ,le foto sono del piano di sopra che nn è dove si soggiorna ma la casa dei proprietari siamo scappati un ora dopo in piena notte ...zanzare sporco e nessuno tipo di pulizia ..la.miffa nel frigo era coperta da dei fogli di carta scottex il piano cottura arrugginito..sono andata in bagno ho trovato nel lavandino un millepiedi grande come una forchetta asciugamani strausati e di casa loro..lenzuola sporche con peli e muffa nel letto..quando si affitta si pulisce si cqmbiqno i letti ma la polvere sovrastava ogni cosa

Accueil exceptionnel et très attentionné, super bien situé, très bel équipement.

Endroit charmant, historique, on se retrouve littéralement transporté dans une autre époque, rempli d'oeuvres d'art et de tableaux magnifiques. Les propriétaires sont merveilleux par leur accueil, leur gentillesse, ! Cet endroit vaut le détour !
