Castell de Sant Nicolau

Free entrance on this nice little castle in a beautiful location in the Ciudadella of Menorca, with stunning panoramic view. Only 35 stairs to get to the top, and it's worthy to look around 360 degrees.

The castle didn't open. One can only have a look outside.

Beautiful outside and great views from the top This was just a 10 minute walk from our hotel along the Passeig Marítim to the south east of the port and the city. We walked past on many days and visited one afternoon as it is open from 4-9pm

Nice quiet place to watch sunset, plenty of place to seat and meditate or just look how colors are changing on the sky. Also beautiful walk along marine with all boats.

Imposing medieval structure at the end of a waterside walk. No facilities there but cute all the same.

Great little castle that is on a pleasant walk around the coast. Opening hours were 4-7pm which meant we didn't get inside. Has some great views and history.

Looks like its had a lot of renovation over time, but interesting to spend time there. Information boards telling the history on ground floor, narrow spiral stone steps takes you to the battlements. Far reaching views of ferry terminal and beyond,nice spot to view boat sailing into Ciutadella.
