The castle is very charming, with newly renovated rooms and a curated ambience. We booked two room types (a suite and an entry-rate double room), and both were spacious and comfortable with the expected amenities. Cleanliness was excellent. One minor inconvenience was the limited number of power outlets (I found only two near the bed and one in the bathroom).
Breakfast was simple but pleasant. We also had dinner on-site and experienced an issue with billing and communication. We pre-booked a fixed menu for three people due to an event. On the day, one person became ill and did not eat (we only requested dry biscuits). At checkout, we were charged €35 for that person (instead of the full price €45), but we had not been informed in advance of any cancellation/no-show fee or partial charge policy.
Overall, it’s a beautiful place, but the pricing felt high relative to the services and overall experience.
