I stayed in the Resort for few days with my family. First of all, I would express my appreciation for the kindness and professionalism of the staff. They helped us in any circumstance and they did their best to satisfy our requests. Having said that, I consider the service provided well below the expectations considering the price we paid. Indeed, we selected this place to celebrate my son’s and my birthdays, hence we were looking for a special place. Unfortunately and unexpected, the room was not well organized: there were no luggage stands, the windows didn’t have an effective obscuring system (the curtains are not enough), the fridge was to small and difficult to reach, the appliances are below the standard (only coffe machine, no kettle, no ice container, etc.), the amenities in the bathroom were below the basic that you can find in a 4 stars hotel. We had to call the maintenance often and even to adjust the air conditioning because no basic instructions were available. We also had a dinner at their restaurant and it was a very negative experience: the food came late and it was very basic, the prices are absolutely not aligned to the food provided. We were in Tuscany and we had much better food at a much lower price in the next days!
The location is amazing but the solution is not “value for money”at all!
When we left the location, I expressed all my concerns providing a detailed and frank feedback to the receptionist and the manager. As partial compensation they applied a discount on our restaurant bill and gifted us with a bottle of their Brunello.
Next time I will visit this wonderful part of Italy, I will select a different location
