Castello Ruffo di Scilla

A beautiful view from the very top of the castle. An ideal vantage point from which to view the entire area. I highly recommend it; the entry fee is small, making it worth the price.

Visiting this Castello was well worth the €3 entry fee. We spent several hours here and the beautiful views of Scilla alone are worth the entry fee (we have been to other historic sites with higher entry fees that took 5 minutes to complete). Be sure not to miss the small museum on fishing in the area which includes an original old boat used for swordfish fishing.

Surprisingly good visit, affordable price ticket at 3 €, this military fort is under renovation, its smallish, but it offers the best viewpoint of Scila. Just for that, it's worth coming. There is as well a little maritime museum where we can see several species of fishes that are swimming around

It’s 3€ per person and worth the contribution. Really great views and cool to see some of the castle. They have a few rooms with history about the castle and area. Good info.

If you enjoy history it’s a no brainer, definitely worth the $2 entry… to be fair, it’s worth it just for the views. Only a small ‘formal’ display once inside but you are able to access most areas to take in the history, the views and building techniques that make this worth the visit

One of the wonders of the world ! Truly is a place to visit ! It’s a must ! When you get to the top you over look the beautiful fishing village of scilla what a view ! The castle is amazing with history to see telling the story ! Truly is beautiful inside & out ! 2 euros to get in as well ! Staff are amazing & helpful ! You can walk up there which is trek through the old streets . Drive up or you can get a lift up there for a small fee from the beech !

Incredible viewpoint with a perfect mix of beach and mountain scenery. Entrance 3 euros. Opening hours on Google misleading.
