Castello Svevo di Trani

The castle is right on the water and makes for a lovely photo. We basically had the castle to ourselves, only seeing two other people while there. Queen Marguerite's art collection is on display inside and the history of the castle is really interesting.

An impressive 13th-century Swabian castle, a must-visit in Trani. The huge construction would be worth the visit alone, but to top it off you'll also get to see a part of the art collection of Margherita of Savoy, one of the last queens of Italy.

Beautiful on the outside by the sea, but definitely doesn't worth the entrance fee of 8 Euro! It's basically totally empty inside despite a few paintings in one room. I've been to so many extrodinary monuments in Italy, 8 Euro should worth much much more.

Lovely castle, beautiful restored but lacked information regarding the history of the building as you walked around the different areas.

One of the best-preserved medieval Swabian castles in the entire region, this fortress is steeped in legend. It is said to be haunted by two ghosts, and there are stories of a secret room where inhabitants would hide during sieges, as well as a mysterious underground passage that supposedly connected the castle to **Castel del Monte**, near Andria. However, this passage has never been discovered. I highly recommend enjoying the breathtaking view from the top of the castle towers.

Seaside castle. Internally is empty and a bit boring to walk around and don’t know the history. The best part is the outdoor walkway, with an amazing view . The cost of entry is €7 .
